“I've been a customer for 3 months now. Continue to be not just supremely satisfied, but supremely impressed. Been dealing with some significant medical issues for 3 years -- requiring too many meds -- none of which I want to take. I was prescribed a specialty drug in Nov -- compounded by Koshland. It is not fully mainstream and even physicians don't have the protocol down to a science/theory of mechanism isn't 100% known. But Koshland understands the med more than the practitioners who prescribe it. Because they invested the time with me (and my physician), and taught me (us) the proper methodology/protocol/dosing, I was able to cut opioid dosage by 75% within 2 months of Koshland filling my RX. And i cut my dose of this specialty med in half. My goal is zero opioids and zero other meds. They know this -- because they took the time to know me. I have no doubt I will eventually meet my ZERO-MED goal with Koshland as my partner.”

“Everyone I have spoken to on the phone at Daniel's pharmacy has been incredibly kind and patient. They fill my father's prescriptions and deliver bubble packs to him. I manage this from afar and I have called numerous times. Each time, I feel grateful for our pleasant interactions. Highly recommend this local pharmacy!”

“I have been a patient at Walgreens and here for several years. The waiting room is comfortable and has always been a pleasant experience. I love the great artwork. The staff is professional, courteous, and makes certain that I am receiving five star quality experience....”

“I've known this pharmacy for over 20 years. The owner clearly cares about the patients. I was a pharmaceutical rep back in 2002. One day he was trying relentlessly to get a prior authorization through for one of my company's drugs. He impressed me so much with his effort that it compelled me to do what I could from my end. I was able to get authorization for a free 90 day supply for the patient while he fought with insurance. Eventually the patient's insurance approved it. The pharmacists at the big stores would never have taken the amount of time or effort.”

“This is hands down the best pharmacy in the entire city. The staff is absolutely amazing. They actually take the time to listen and answer questions, plus they understand people and what they need. I had a problem with my insurance last month and they helped me get everything squared away. It was a huge help and I am completely indebted to them.”

“Independently owned drug stores are becoming increasingly rare and even in large cities they are becoming few and far between.Central Drug store is such a place and it has been a San Francisco institution for decades, serving locals and the neighborhood with reliable and personal service. They have customers that stems back for decades, relying on their home delivery services for their medication. It's also a place where you can buy gift merchandises and your support can go a long way in keeping these folks in business as they struggle to compete with national chain stores.”

“Omg, with Holidays upon us & just getting over a cold, I was focused on getting back into fitness for the sake of defeating carbs & relieving a stress. Also trying to get my chops back like when I was fitness fiend & didn't need to worry about my weight so much! Also I am stressed out with end of the year bills & other things professionally. Whilst in. Hurry, I purchased something here & inadvertently dropped both my Bank Card & my Credit cards as well as a souvenir hotel key from my beloved Vegas! Yes you read that right. I accidentally dropped my bank & credits here! I was in a doozy cuz I did extensive cavity searches thru all my bags used for work & groceries! Then I recalled doing my business here. I called & the pharmacist gal at the counter answered the phone & confirmed my cards. I then rushed to the shop & got my cards back! Yes, the lady gave me them back after asking me questions & I of course gave a red envelope as a thank you gift! God knew that my karma would come in handy because I need not more issues in my life! Folks, please consider coming here for basic needs such as tea or drug shop items! No suspicious activities on my cards & she was upfront but professional. I can't recommend shop enough! If there is 10 stars on yelp, this place deserves !!!!”

“Ive been coming to this store since I was a kid , back in the mid 2000s and I honestly feel welcomed and acknowledged every visit . This store has deep roots with the community that lives in the Fillmore . The prices are fair and the store is always organized and clean.”

“I don't speak Spanish, and was looking for an appetite stimulant. She pulled out her smart phone to use the translator to speak to me (I hadn't thought about that). The store has all kinds of products to help you get healthy. Will go back. This young lady was very nice to me, and not rude as other commenters have stated.”

“I simply went in to purchase a tea I saw in their window, and everyone was so unbelievably kind. I wish I remembered their names but the beautiful woman walking around was super friendly and welcoming, and the gentleman behind the register was considerate and sweet. When they weren't helping me, they extended that hospitality to every single person that walked in; even the patrons that stopped in were kind, which is a win-win”

“These people are so kind and deal with so much that I can not believe they don't have a million great reviews. They are very impressive overall for a big city in cutting edge addiction specialists and helping people. Very genuine people and I love how they have a big security guard who is super no nice but there to keep the clients and staff safe. I have so many nice things to say about the PHACS pharmacists and how they now will make home visits in certain situations which is amazing. I more just love their patience dealing with San Francisco homeless and Downtrodden. They are angels to me and I refer them to a lot of people. If you or a loved one is looking for help to get off off opiates including fentanyl they will help save your life. All you have to do is show up and ask for help and they will guide you with kindness, no judgement and real help with medical knowledge and success stories. I recommend buprenorphene and or Suboxone over methadone as I was on methadone for 3 years and it did not help me like bup did but every case is different. I just want to say Thank You for not giving up on people and giving people a second chance at this precious life. Prayers for you and your family and loved ones and I'll be referring people to you. Take Care CBHS and PHACS and RAMS is also awesome too. Shoutout to Damian the pharmacist team and all those making PHACS possible at CBHS Pharmacy. You deserve 10 stars.”

“I am visiting San Francisco and the weather change exacerbated my daughter's asthma. After visiting local chain pharmacies with no luck, google led me to Clay Medical Pharmacy. They provided prompt thorough service. I am a pharmacist and I understand the challenges independent pharmacies face. Support your local pharmacy, they will take care of you!”

“I refer everyone to Alto. They're the best. So much better than Walgreens! I was getting my prescriptions filled at the Walgreens in San Carlos because they have a 24 hour pharmacy but the wait when you go there to pick up your prescriptions is always super long, there's a bunch of people coughing in line and sitting in the chairs next to their reception desk, and one time when I got to my car I realized that they had given me someone else's medications! They gave me a bunch of narcotics with some other ladies name on the bottles. Who does that? So I switched all of my medication, my husbands medication, and my parents medication to Alto and they've been great!”

“The store is small and basic, but it does have everything you need!Something that stood out when we went, was that while we were waiting in line there was a lady who was giving the cashier a REALLY hard time. She kept on telling him that he was being rude to her (he certainly was not) and escalated her attitude. He stayed calm and collected the whole time. I was pretty impressed. All in all a solid store.”

“Very helpful. Had many brand name items I needed when I visited Chinatown after getting off cruise ship. No price gouging. Also had copies of xeroxed maps showing where closest public toilets are located near their shop.”

“This CVS pharmacy & its pharmacists have been incredibly helpful. I have been able to get a specific medication here that other CVS in the Bay Area have been unable to fill. I’m so grateful for their ongoing fulfillment of this prescription. The pharmacist is always so friendly & remembers me by name every time. It is such a pleasure to find such amazing customer service. I forgot my wallet last week & couldn’t get my Apple Pay to work, Felipe paid my co-pay! Wow, so wonderful. I will always cherish this CVS pharmacy”

“Folks here are very efficient. Not the most friendly but they get the job done. Brought my mom here for both the Covid and RSV vaccines with no out of pocket expenses.”

“I suppose this store is really a 3.5. I can't be angry at this store because none of the closer CVS has anything in stock. I can't be angry because the area is difficult to get to and overrun with tourists. I can't be angry because some things, even cheap items are under lock and key while similarly priced items or not. And I can't be angry when there is no self checkout when even though the lines are long, the registers are fully staffed. My stuff needed to be unlocked. The worker apologized for the wait, but I didnt wait long at all. CVS coupon application is confusing, they take off your rewards BEFORE they apply any percentage off. Good for the store, less savings for me. Prices are going up and they are less competitive with Costco and Amazon. I find myself shopping at CVS less. But this particular store is clean, fairly well organized and staffed with good people. And they had stuff I wanted in stock. Just be prepared for the tourists.”

“Medication Delivery to my building! Thoughtful, responsive, even proactive customer service!!! A lot of glitches but they worked with me to resolve 'em. Deliveries aren't scheduled or to my door[still, but 5* anyway; it's minor]. Some mis-dispensing tho. No app. Website launched! Email may be available too! A much better experience than Walgreens (and it is quite good, if you use their app).”

“One thing I love about being a member of Kaiser is that I can choose my doctor at any location. I have doctors all over the Bay depending on the service that they provide and the convenience of where I will be for work. This location is the newest one in San Francisco and it is so beautifully constructed. The parking garage is across the street and they also have validation for patients. My doctor's visit was quick and easy and I was not only able to get my prescription, but the pharmacist asked me if there was any of my other prescriptions refilled. I was not planning on doing so, but since she asked and I needed to do it soon, I did. I love this new location and if I have to get services, I will definitely try to schedule it at Mission Bay Campus.”

“So much better than Walgreens, CVS, and RiteAid. Highly competent staff who answer the phone and communicate clearly. When there is an issue, they call you rather than waiting for you to contact them or wasting your time with unnecessary in-person trips.”

“The pharmacy technician was super friendly and helpful - she took extra time to call other outpatient locations when my prescription was out of stock to make sure I wouldn't run out.”

“There are some personal cosmetics, daily necessities, snacks, beauty supplies, and pharmacies sold. But the store was empty, there were no customers, there was only one guard and a cashier. But now we can open a store in downtown San Francisco, which is great.”

“I had to print out photos for my daughter's school, and there was lot of photos coming in that day. While the photos weren't ready, Rachel was very gracious and went to the back and printed the photos right away. Thank you so much for the great help - not used to getting that kind of customer service at a pharmacy!”

“Every time I visit this pharmacy ( CVS, 1690 Folsom St, San Francisco, CA.), I never cease to admire how well this team works under the management of Jessica Leung.”

“This review is specifically targeted to their COVID19 Vaccination services. Five star goes directly to how accessible their scheduling site is to book your appointment for both doses, as well as how fast and easy their check-in is and of course the vaccination itself. My partner and I scheduled our first doses on the same day but we could not find a back-to-back slot, but after calling them, they told me that we can come together on the later time to save the trip. Love how flexible and thoughtful they are. The nurse was professional and the whole injection took less than a millisecond and barely felt any pain. There's an aisle with chairs spread apart so they get to monitor us for 15 minutes after our vaccines. Everything was like clockwork and it was a really pleasant experience overall! Thank you CVS!”
