“Very friendly staff. Clean and well stocked market. It was afternoon and we were looking for a quick breakfast. We ordered delicious breakfast burritos and ate at sidewalk tables they had set up. Burritos were grilled, choice of cheeses, and stuffed with fries. Very happy.”

“I have figured it out after all these years! I have finally figured it out, I know what makes a WHITE PALACE sandwich so good it's the mayonnaise...... the mayonnaise must be some type of restaurant mayo or something because God damn, when I bit into my most recent ham american with all the fixings (except lettuce) Sandwich, I had an epiphany. I realized itS THE MAYO!! that's the secret......

“Ray, the former owner was such a great part of the neighborhood. He new everybody, made all feel welcome, and connected people. I enjoyed seeing him daily. The new crew seem very nice and are keeping it together. Still a great shop and deli.. Can get busy. Order sandwiches ahead online or by phone.”

“I just want to take a moment to share my experience at your store. From the moment I walked in, I was impressed by how clean, well-organized, and welcoming everything felt. The staff greeted me right away with genuine smiles and were extremely professional, knowledgeable, and helpful throughout my visit. They took the time to answer all of my questions, explain the different options, and made sure I felt comfortable with my purchase.
The level of customer service truly stood out compared to many other stores I’ve been to. I never felt rushed, and every detail was handled with care and attention. “I love coming to The Rainbow. Sam and Mona are the sweetest couple. They have an excellent wine selection. Sam is well versed in wine. If you go before 2p Monday -Saturday you can eat one of the delicious sandwiches Sam makes at the deli counter. My favorite is the Mission. This is my go to corner store.”

“Loved this pace was in town & wanted to pick up food quick to take down to the beach. A google search brought me here, and was pleasantly surprised. Boozy ‘goodie bags’ that I’ve never seen elsewhere. Got a spiked Arizona, a bag of spicy funions, a GT3 sandwich on Dutch crunch and it was the bomb!!! Will come back in the future!!!”
“I love this store. The staff are quick to open up at 6 am or a few minutes after, as posted. They are personable. The manager talks to me like I am his nephew. Good, hard-working people. The best thing about the store, though, is the variety. Need a top-shelf wine? They've got it. An affordable bottle for cooking and tossing one back while things sautee? They've got that, too. Chocolate flavored It's It? Sure. Local, small-batch Indian ice cream? Uh-huh. If you need it, they have it. This place got me through the pandemic. I love them.”

“Very friendly, neighborhood convenience store offering frozen goods, beverages, snacks, packaged foods and household items (plus cigarettes and booze/wine). The store worker (or owner) is hella friendly every time I go in. Very pleasant to strike up a conversation with when I’m in the store. Best of all, the store manager is the kitty cat! He’s soooooooooooooo cute! Be sure to give him a friendly pat and furry scratch on his back to let him know you mean well when shopping here ?”
“Fav grocery store, produce is always high quality, there's fun pre-made food options, its beautiful to shop at and I always find something interesting and new. Yes it can get tight and hectic inside but that's okay and to be expected for a small local neighborhood grocery store. Best part is the quesadilla. Seriously best quesadilla i've ever had. Places like Bi-Rite are the reasons I wanted to move to SF. We are so spoiled here with amazing grocery stores and produce. Keep doing what you're doing Bi-Rite :)”

“I regularly get their smoked turkey sandwich. The quality of the ingredients and flavor is well worth more than 11 dollars. It's cold cut perfection.
They have Clearly Canadian which tastes just as amazing as it did in the 90s.
They also have a very good potato salad that is dill forward. I haven't tried their wings but they look very plump and juicy.
This corner deli is hitting well above its weight. Don't sleep on it!”
“This is the store I always love to go, knowing everyone who work in the store, nice people very friendly. I remember sometime I Come in short the cashier told me to come back next time. Or even okay they will accept what I got. They're are really nice people, and I feel safe to there everytime. Its a recommended.. its great place for snacks and drinks. They got everything you need. “I had a great experience at hollow cow market. What caught my eye was that they had flower bouquets for sale! They had so many great items from snacks, chocolates drinks and even fruits. Whatever you need it looks like hollow cow market has it for you! Great short walking distance from the local bars in this side of town. Amazing staff, owner was super sweet”
“New deli just droppeddd Lombard market has great prices and the basic goods you would expect at a corner store. I ran out of sugar while making some banana bread and thought it would cost an arm and a leg to get sugar from the corner store but it was actually cheaper than Safeway! And they had both light and dark brown sugar. The staff are very friendly and they have those viral fruit ice cream popsicles that normally only at Hmart if that's up your alley.”
