“Dedicated Hoka fan here … the expertise of the staff showed thru helping me to solve a growing issue with my left foot. I’m 3 weeks in, and the pain has gone away. Simple but a powerful recommendation for a different shoe size and insert. Yes, it cost more, but I can feel the long term benefit!”
“Amazing little shop with trendy, excellent quality affordable staples. The owner is sweet, warm, inviting, fashionable with a knack for making you feel comfortable and helping you style a fit!”
“Had a great experience shopping for Alden boots thanks to a patient and knowledgeable sales associate. They walked me through different styles and explained the sizing differences. I never felt rushed, and their guidance helped me find the perfect fit. Excellent service all around!”
“I bought my first Dr. Martens pair of shoes and can say I am a happy customer. Staff is really nice and supportive, the store in general has good vibes and you don’t being rushed to buy or to try the items.
I am one of those folks who takes their time and they respected it. Not a local but would definitely come back if I have a chance.”
“I’m not one to leave reviews usually, but I had to leave one for this place. Ian (the employee) was wonderful and very thorough with helping me find the perfect shoe. He did whatever he could to find the best fit for my personal running habits and walking me through the different options, as well as letting me try jogging in each one. This includes getting the right insole for me. Definitely will be back!”
“Come here any time I’m in the neighborhood, great folks running and owning the place. Bought a few shirts and a mini backpack, love them all. Once I get my money up, I will come back for more. Support an authentic small business with great style!”
“Super wonderful experience shopping for some truly outstanding shoes today. Daniel was very helpful and attentive, bringing me lots of options and assisting with a return. I also appreciated manager Denny's input and assistance. I wish I could afford to shop here more than once every 5-10 years it really is a special experience!”

“Emerson helped me pick pointe shoes! We went through several brands and sizes and eventually landed on Merlet! They also helped me sew the ribbons and elastic ribbons and showed me how to tie them. They’ve been very helpful and patient. Will def visit again! Highly recommend if you’re in SF area!”

“I'm currently in town for the week and traveling light, so adding another pair of shoes wasn't ideal. However, after visiting the Dr. Martens store on Haight and receiving exceptional customer service, I couldn't resist.
The sales associate (whose name, unfortunately, I didn't catch) was incredibly patient and knowledgeable. She not only helped me find the perfect pair of shoes but also provided valuable information on caring for them.
To top it off, she offered a convenient solution to my packing dilemma by setting up free delivery to my home in another state.
This positive experience has made me a loyal Dr. Martens customer. I now have new shoes that I love, thanks to the amazing staff at Dr. Martens. Thank you for making my shopping trip so enjoyable and hassle-free!”
“I stopped by A.C.M.E. Workwear while I was up in the city. I usually shop at Redwood Trading Post since I live in Redwood City, but I’m really glad I checked this place out. It’s near Mission and Geneva, not a flashy area at all, but the store itself is solid and worth the stop.
For a smaller shop, the selection is really good. They have a lot of Carhartt, and not just the usual stuff. Pants, shirts, jackets, accessories, and most importantly, real size runs. I wear a 40x34 in work pants, which is usually hard to find, but they had it right there with no issue. That alone impressed me.
I went in planning to use my work stipend on new pants and ended up grabbing a pair of Carhartt B01s and a tee. One thing to note is that the prices are a little higher than online. The B01s were about $67 in the store, while you can find them online for closer to $59. The pair I bought had also been sitting in the sun for a while, so one side was noticeably more faded than the other. To be fair, the guy helping me, Kevin, noticed it right away and gave me a discount without me even asking, which I appreciated.
Kevin was great overall. Super friendly, helpful, and relaxed. No pressure, no upselling, just straight help getting what I actually needed. That kind of service goes a long way.
They’ve been around since 1972, and it shows. The place feels established and dependable. They carry a wide range of workwear brands and gear, from boots to hard hats and more, and even though you can’t order online, they do have a website.
I’d definitely come back, especially if I’m already in the city. If you’re looking for real workwear and good service, this place delivers, just keep in mind the prices can run a bit higher than online.”

“I came here for a Warriors watch party. The Warriors home opening night game versus the Denver Nuggets to be specific! It was such a great game to witness.
I enjoyed being able to watch the game on the 120 inch screen. When I arrived, the thunder in Oklahoma City game had gone to double overtime so they placed the Warriors game on the other TVs until they cast it on the big screen. Thankfully, for this game, I had a great view from one of the couches. It was nice and comfortable on there.
It was great to meet TJ and Nick. They both provided excellent service and it was great to chat with them. Hearing that they host to watch parties for the Niners games is also a huge plus. I look forward to being back for one of those and also visiting the storefront.
Shout out to Levels SF for hosting and awesome event!”
“SKECHERS Warehouse Outlet always surprises with great deals on comfortable, reliable footwear. The variety is huge—running shoes, work shoes, casual slip-ons, and more. “Wonderful selection of every kind of sock option for all preferences. My mother loved the pair we bought her and we got sock varieties that are not readily available at most other shops.”
“Ray saved the day for me and my fiancé (now husband). Panic would be an understatement. My fiancé had ordered shoes for the wedding but due to shipping delays and unforeseen circumstances the shoes were not going to come in on time even when the company assured him they’d be on time.
With us leaving for our wedding the next day, Ray gave us everything we needed to know to make an informed decision. I loved how knowledgeable he was about each shoe he showed us.
Anyways my fiancé was able to walk out with some black loafers that were a thousand times better than the shoes he was waiting for, and we had a phenomenal experience getting them. Thanks Ray!”
“RIP Vans Stonestown. Today is their last day. They will close permanently and slowly this mall is going from sad to straight up depressing. One of the few bright spots of Stonestown. Great products and great people. All the best to everyone!”
“I have been here many times, matter of fact before they ever opened the shop. I came by to purchase shoes, clothes, merchandise etc. The owner is very friendly, welcoming and knows his facts of all of your inquiries. In fact it’s the best shop for all of your essential needs, they usually throw in a little extra of things for ever purchase/visit. I have recommended tons of people here and they have all thanked me for introducing them to Dream Team SF. They giveback a lot to the community such as, fundraisers, cookouts, toy drives and much more. I highly recommend this place to all sneakerheads, clothing enthusiasts or to anyone that wants something new. I definitely will be back!”

“Awesome store to buy Golden Goose products. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The service is spectacular. I love the Golden Goose brand. At first, the store seemed industrial/minimalist, but it really grew on me over time. If you like Golden Goose, you have to try this store!”
“First time shopping here and loved my experience! Alex was such a great help and very informative on helping me pick out the right Vibrams! Left the shop thrilled ☺️ Will come back for more pair of Vibrams! ?”
