“Decided to take the plunge (well many plunges) and learn to wing foil. Matt was an awesome instructor for my first lesson. I was hooked. The next day, I met with Jane to buy gear. She was very patient ( as I barely knew which end was up ) and made recommendations for an appropriate board and wing for my size. Again, she remained very patient as she walked me through the set up and inflation process. We were rewarded at the end of our session with a beautiful onshore wind and we were both able to get out on the water. (Well, I was more in than on). There is nothing that can compare to the personal service provided by Boardsports California. As I progress, and my equipment needs change, I will be consulting with Boardsports (by phone , chat or Zoom) since I’m not local to the Bay Area) . They are experts on the water and experts in passing their knowledge to their customers.”

Gabby worked tirelessly to offer different options and was very knowledgable regarding the different styles. It's so refreshing to have this kind of experience in retail these days.”
“The fellas over at Liberal Fishing Tackle and Loan are TOP NOTCH. Don't let the rough side of town discourage you from visiting. I promise you it is safe and the crew WILL take GREAT care of you. They offer EXTREMELY fair prices on everything. I will say that I was pleasantly surprised at the selection of stuff ESPECIALLY the guitars!!! Seriously though, I am not being too "liberal" when I say these guys are worth every minute and every dime if you are looking, not only to pawn, sell or trade, but GREAT SELECTION of items and what a place to get FISHING GEAR too!! It's seriously like a big man cave of cool stuff only here, you can buy whatever you like. I sound like a dang infomercial. Hahaha....”
“I truly cannot say enough wonderful things about my experience with both Goldwin products and the customer service that I have received. I emailed regarding a product question and was connected with Joe (a Supervisor of US Operations for Goldwin) and he is probably one of the most patient, helpful and kind people I have communicated with in a very long time. Not only did he answer all of my extensive product questions but he was actually willing to ship a jacket for me from Japan because the size I needed was not in stock in the US. If that is not the most wonderful customer service then I don't know what is. THANK YOU to Joe and the team at Goldwin ... you are incredible. The product I have is the Black Down Gortex Infinium Jacket and I am in awe. I have extensively researched and compared winter jackets and this one is absolute perfection. I could go on and on ... but let me wrap this up by saying BUY FROM GOLDWIN and Joe is my hero.”

“I came here to try out a bike after researching online for the best options that fit me. This was especially significant to me as my first-ever bike purchase. Despite coming in a little late, Eric (sp?) helped me out with the bike fitting, and I was pleasantly surprised when the store had one remaining bicycle in inventory, which Eric helped to prepare by installing the lights and U-lock and checking to make sure it was in suitable condition for me to ride home. Thank you for going above and beyond! Can’t wait to come back to this store to buy more accessories.”
