“Always a great time at AxeVentures! Whether its your first time, or you're a returning guest, the kind and knowledgeable staff members always walk you through the proper one and two handed techniques before your session begins. Once you feel confident with those, ask them about underhanded throws as well! They're more than happy to teach, and its that much more fun when you have different ways to throw. They also offer knife throwing, and bleeding targets for extra little bits of fun. Great for individuals or larger groups as they have at least 9 lanes, and fun table games if some party members don't feel like throwing. I could go on and on. I love AxeVentures!”

“Blanco Urban is an ideal wedding venue choice! As a photographer I was blown away by how well the venue photographed. Its white walls did wonders with the light throughout the day, from bright sun to golden hour. This venue is perfectly modern and chic for a luxury wedding. The staff was responsive and kind. Its great to be able to go down to the street and capture chic city photos as well!”

“They're very ambiguous to when buckets are out D: We came for the kids age 4-5 on a weekday Friday after Christmas. The 930/10am session did not have buckets. The one following at 12pm did. Online it says they have it on weekdays, but ultimately they use their discretion based on number of reservations maybe.”

“Recently, we watched the new ballet nutcracker performance at California theater. The theater is iconic with nice view of the stage from the balcony area. The ballet show by itself was decent with reflections from city of San Jose early days with emphasis on Owen Electric tower, and building up in the second half. The show was about 2+hrs with an intermission. The food and drink offerings are ok with reasonable pricing for this iconic theater. The photography was restricted for a good reason during the show. Overall an Ok experience.”

“I've been a member of Club Sportiva for several years. I tried the car detailing service for the first time while I had one of their cars out for the weekend. They took my 2021 M3 back to the shop after delivering me one of the club cars to detail it. I have to say they did an amazing job. Better than the detail service I use in the North Bay for about the same money. I think I'll do it every time I take a car out now. If I lived in the area it would be my goto place to get my car detailed.”

“Amazing course! Well designed, picturesque, well maintained. Only complaint is the pace of play - with a 9am tee time it was painfully slow, they really need a marshall (didn’t see one even once).”

“So this was the first time my wife and I brought our youngest daughter to see the sharks. We parked the lot across the street from the arena. Parking was a little expensive. But that’s to be expected. Lines were quick to get through the metal detectors and into the arena. Didn’t take too long to get through the lines to get food found our seats and really enjoyed the game. My daughter really enjoyed it. The experience was fun. Can’t wait to go back and see another game.”

“I come to this theater everytime a good movie comes out. I always have a great experience here. Front desk is polite, the food and drink bar is clean. I enjoy the relaxation of recliner chairs and also being around classy people in an environment like Santana Row.”

“Nice room for small to moderate gatherings. We were here for a st Patrick's day dinner. The room is a long hall with folding tables & chairs, so it can be set up in different configurations. There's a kitchen onsite and a bar area.”

“We've been to this theater twice in the past month. It's a super convenient location with ample parking. Each movie we went to, it was clear they had just cleaned. The seats are comfy with options for heat and recliner. I haven't purchased any snacks, but they do have a limited bar. The beer I purchased was about $9 which seems super reasonable considering it was a full pour in a movie theater. Staff were also friendly and welcoming. Def my choice to catch a flick locally.”

“Their Rummage sales are fun to shop at, especially when they are doing clearance prices! I got a beautiful wool runner rug for $25 instead of $245.00! If you love the thrill of a bargain and enjoy rummaging through secondhand items this is a great place. They’ll post on Craigslist the week of their sale, which is always on a Saturday. Parking can be a bit tight. The gravel lot usually has a bit more room for backing up to leave.”

We've held three quinceañeras here, and the feedback has been fantastic--everyone loves the beauty of the place. “I had never been here before, but came for my friend's Rehearsal dinner. It was the perfect size for what we needed -- there is a stage and a side room which made it great to do buffet style. They did have some house rules (example- no open flame) which made a tradition unable to do but we had some great improvisation (used a flameless candle).”

“Stayed at Ranch Almaden in May 2025. We booked through Airbnb but the review wouldn’t go through and we felt that had to leave feedback because this property is INCREDIBLE! We were blown away by the picturesque setting and the beauty of the home. Our entire group felt like we were transported to a villa in Italy. This is the perfect location for a family reunion, weekend with friends, wedding, or any other celebration. The host, Matt, was so kind and attentive and was quick to resolve any issue or tend to any request we had. We cannot recommend this venue enough and can’t wait to go back!”

“Good place to rent for big parties, lots of parking space, there’s only one downside, there’s 2 entrances but one of theme it is hard to see from the big avenue and it is kind of dangerous the entrance / exit, overall it is a good place with a nice installations.”

“Lots of fun at the little gym! My daughter loves her Saturday class. Her best friend comes to the little gym too. The teachers are very nice and patient. Clean environment. The kids learn how to follow instructions and become better at socializing.”

“Such a pleasant stay here. Loved that it's just a 10 min drive from the airport and easy walking or driving distance to spots around Downtown San Jose. It's also conveniently right off the freeway. The staff were all great and helpful. I have to say this is the first time I haven't encountered rude hotel staff. If you book through the Marriott Bonvoy it has everything at your hands; mobile room key - so skip checking in at the front desk and you can easily request towels or ask for house keeping and they have a chat for any questions you may have! I stayed in the guest room with 1 king bed. I found the layout to be great but is small in the sense you don't have much space. But it was just me so I didn't have an issue. The room also came with a desk attached to the wall, a big chair where you can sit back and relax. The bed was super comfortable and the pillows were great! Not stiff. We all know that hotel pillows aren't the best. LOVED the safety features they have on the door. It comes with a metal doorstop at the top you just flip open and comes with an extra lock you can use. Made me feel safe as a solo traveler! Now I will say the only thing I did find inconvenient was the parking. As with all hotels around the area you have to pay for parking daily. Here is $35/day and you can only park on the 3rd and 4th floor which isn't the best when you have luggage. BUT they have the scooters at times right next the hotel and down the street the have bikes to pay for. If you won't be driving far in San Jose save some money and ride them. It's right next to the hotel and is shared with other businesses. They have a parking that's adjacent to them that I believe is cheaper but I didn't really want to lug my suitcases across the street. But overall great stay! Would 100% recommend and stay here again.”

“This is honestly the nicest Courtyard I've ever stayed in. (And I've traveled A LOT over the years.)Front Desk let me have a late check out and gave me a complimentary drink at the Bistro for breakfast. The room was ACTUALLY CLEAN! The furniture was dated, but in very good condition. For breakfast, I swapped the drink for a breakfast parfait. All of the lobby furniture is functional and CLEAN! All of the staff I met and saw were super nice and polite.Rooms: It was actually clean.Walkability: Target right in the parking lot.Food & drinks: Market and Bistro onsite.”

“This place is brand new, clean, well layed out, has fantastic drinks, and bomb music. I’m shocked this place isn’t packed. I hope people catch on to this gem because it’s a wonderful bar/club that just not enough people know about yet. I see tons of club/bars packed with worse music and worse drinks. This place is a wood floored, brick building on the second story of a Michelin star Portuguese restaurant and is worth exploring for anyone looking for an outstanding ambience, music/ DJ set and drink menu. 10/10 I hope more people realize how much of a gem this place is. Much love and I hope to see this business grow and flourish because you guys did a great job!!!”
