“First time bringing my cat here, and we had an amazing experience with the entire team. I came in with my two young kids and my 15-year-old cat who wasn’t feeling well and needed testing. My 4- and 6-year-olds got antsy pretty quickly, but the staff had activities and stickers ready to keep them busy. Everyone was incredibly kind and compassionate throughout the whole visit.

Dr Nesset explained everything clearly and thoroughly, and handled my sweet old cat with gentleness. I’m truly so relieved he got great care.”

“I have been taking my rabbit to Oakridge Veterinary Clinic for approximately six years. The front desk staff are proficient and efficient, the veterinary technicians are kind and attentive, and the doctors are knowledgeable and professional. Appointments generally run on time and proceed smoothly. Pricing is reasonable for an exotic pet. Overall, I trust and value the care provided by Oakridge Veterinary Clinic. My rabbit gives them two paws up.”

“Our dog, Cashew, became suddenly paralyzed in his hind legs. We thought we would have to put him down. But the staff at Camden Pet Hospital was so encouraging to keep hopeful for a good outcome, Cashew is now walking again! Dr J, Dr Griscom, and Valeria were especially helpful during this very trying time and we couldn't be more appreciative of their support!”

“We have gone to Lincoln Avenue Vet clinic for nearly two decades now. All of our dogs have always been excited to go there - which speaks volumes to the love and respect they have for animals. Service has always been great and pricing extremely fair.”

“This is for the San Jose location. Great friendly supportive staff. It's not "affordable" care, it costs the same as any other vet. 50$- Exam fee, 130$ for each X-ray view ( depending on the condition of your pet they might need multiple views), 130$ for blood work, 15-30$ for med( Depends on their needs.) There was no up-selling, only suggestions, gave you the opportunity to decline before you pay. I would have given it 5 stars but, I don't think it was very affordable as advertised but, due to inflation it's expected. Sadly, that's how it is everywhere. Do expect great care and compassion for your pet. You will be seen at least by two to three techs before the doctor and no, you don't wait an hour for a private room. Yes, bring your pets on leashes, Carrier, etc, Because it's cats and dogs in the same room.”

“I normally don't write reviews, but this veterinarian's office has consistently been over the top wonderful for both me and my dog for over a year. We had an accident that my dog needed medical attention for and they were super caring, compassionate, and genuine for me, my dog, and my family. Even my dog gets excited when he knows we are going to go because they treat him super well. Highly recommend!”

“I can’t say enough good things about this vet clinic. The staff are incredibly kind, knowledgeable, and genuinely care about the animals they treat. From the front desk to the veterinarians, everyone took the time to explain things clearly and made my family and my pet feel so comfortable there. The clinic is very clean, well-organized, and appointments are handled efficiently. They even let me book a same day appointment which many clinics do not offer. I had to reschedule my appointment and they don't even charge any cancellation fee! I also have a very nervous dog that is anxious to go to vet clinics but the people working here made sure to take it slow with him and not overwhelm him. At the end of the visit my dog came out wagging his tail and even playing around with the vet techs. I’m very grateful for the top tier care my pet received and have recommended this clinic to all my family and friends!”

“Fast response times and genuinely friendly, helpful staff. Christina and Xochitl assisted me recently and took the time to explain every invoice item in great detail, making sure I fully understood everything before I left.

Dr. Grewal, who has been examining my cats, is incredibly kind and thorough. He clearly explained all available options and helped me choose the best path for my cats’ recovery. Everyone at AMC made sure I never felt confused or rushed.

As others have mentioned, the care here is also very affordable—excellent staff providing high-quality care. I truly appreciate this team and highly recommend AMC.”

“We had to bring our puppy to Acacia Pet Clinic for emergency X-rays, and I’m so glad we did. The team was kind, efficient, and really helped put us at ease during a stressful time. They work closely with Willow Glen Pet Hospital, which made everything smooth and coordinated. I truly appreciate the care and attention they gave our pup!”

“I've loved the staff at Burbank for over twenty years now. They have been very compassionate and sensitive to us as pet owners when we've brought our sick/injured animals (two dogs, three cats and one sick pet rat) in for treatment. And their fees are quite reasonable. I don't have anything negative to say about their clinic. They are just great!”

“My most recent visit is only my 3rd visit 2 of those visits were for euthanasia services for elderly suffering dogs. What constituted these appointments was my sister’s vet said she would not be able to bring her beagle home for burial. My sister was devastated at having her dog put down due to kidney failure and couldn’t comprehend not bringing her companion pet home. We immediately searched for another vet and found San Jose animal hospital. We were so comforted by the lovely staff and caring support from them and Dr. Stone.”

“The team at Silver Creek were very thoughtful and sincere. Missy showed great customer service at the front desk answering all our questions and getting us set up for our visit. Dr. Choi was lovely as ever with her great expertise and caring nature. I missed the name of the technician for Diesel’s appointment but she showed Diesel so much love to help ease him through the appointment, which is not easy with a 100lb dog. I’m so grateful he was in their wonderful hands.”

“I came back to midbit for my dog and I had to see an internal medicine doctor for her, this lady and her helper were so sweet and nice, and I really trust the care they're giving my dog. They are very extremely expensive though.By the time i'm done I will have spent ten thousand dollars in one month. This is
Extremely extremely expensive. But you're going to do everything for your dogs that you possibly can before it's their time”

“We got our Benji when he was just a year old—he’s a small rescue, and such a big part of our lives. Being in the dental field myself, I know how important dental hygiene is, even for pets, and I also know how nerve-wracking anesthesia can be.

As an anxious dog mom, I’ve always felt so reassured by Dr. Zacher, Ellen, and Adam. They’ve been amazing at keeping us in the loop—letting us know when Benji is next in line for his procedure, how everything’s going, and just making sure we never feel in the dark. That level of communication has meant so much to me.

We’ve been coming here for about four years now, ever since our vet in Oakland recommended them. And yes—we wake up at 6 a.m. just to make it to San Jose by 7, and it’s totally worth it. The care, the kindness, and the trust we feel here keep us coming back.

Even though our insurance no longer covers Benji’s prophies, we’ll continue bringing him here as long as they’re here—and as long as Benji is with us. He deserves the best, and this team has given him just
that”

“Attentive, knowledgeable, friendly staff as well as reasonable prices. After VCA tried to charge me nearly 4K for getting my GSD puppy spayed, I can say that I'm done with them and will be using the services of Boulevard from here on in.”

“The professionalism of Gabby, Mary, Dr Hwang, and the entire team is to be applauded.
They made my visit so much less stressful by letting me know exactly what was to be done to my 7 lbs Yorkie, Marley!

The checkout was flawless even after I made a wrong choice for payment and had it resolved.

I was made comfortable with the after care that I would be providing to my dog with antibiotics and pain control medication regiment providing adequate amount of dispensers and explaining the different dosages storage and when to give.
When I called to report that one of the medication was not going well they provided a very supportive response and involved the doctor to provide alternative solutions.

Great place to take your pet for her medical care!

Kudos to Banfield Almaden Expressway, San Jose!”

“Update: after discussion and communication with management, I am satisfied with how my experience was handled.

I will preface this by saying that I’m sure the doctors and technicians here have adequate medical knowledge and would not do anything that jeopardizes the health of the animal. However, over the past three months, I have experienced worsening communication and disingenuous business practices that has left me wary of their customer service.

I actually had a good experience the first few times I came to this location, but during a follow up for my cat’s fracture, there was a miscommunication where the doctor ordered an x ray and interpretation that left me with a $600+ bill that I was not given an estimate for. I did pay the full amount. While I verbally approved of the procedure, I felt mislead by the omission in price.
I discussed the situation to the manager and she gracious offered me a $200 future discount on my cat’s next set of x-rays. I accepted and thought that was extremely kind. The manager explained that the credit was reflected in my account and I left.
In the following appointments, I asked about the results of the radiology interpretation, only to find out (only after asking three separate staff members, who all initially gave differing answers as to if it was available) that it was cancelled and never performed. At no point during the credit process did the manager or doctor tell me they were cancelling this procedure.
This was a line item that cost almost $150, which I paid for in full. The “future discount” the manager claimed to be giving me was just the cost of the procedure and a separate ~$50 courtesy discount. In essence, I prepaid over a hundred dollars, under the guise that I was graciously getting compensation from the manager.
I have no qualms with actually paying for what I receive. I believe the appropriate response would have been to fully reverse the original transaction (of the x ray and interpretation) and charge a new transaction for just the xray which already occurred and must be paid for. Alternatively, if it is impossible for VCA to refund a transaction, the staff at this location could’ve just been more honest with me that they could only offer a refund via “store credit.”

By claiming I was getting a courtesy discount, this location misled me and I now find it difficult to trust the staff and doctors at this VCA. I now have very little faith in this location to be honest and communicative with me.

If you choose to bring your pet to this location, I recommend always asking exactly what they will be charging you for, the purpose of each procedure, and getting a clear understanding of when those results will be communicated to you. My recent experience is that they will not be proactive and helpful when communicating and are more than happy to take your money without educating you about what they actually do for your pet.”

“I went to Petco first to get my kitten Roxy’s first vaccines. They told me they could not see the kitten because it was sick and would pass shortly, I left confused and a bit upset. I was literally there 10 min. It was the strangest 10 min ever in animal care. The kitten was doing great, eating, playing, she just had watery eyes and was a bit congested. Instead of breaking the news to my kids, I made an appointment online with Banfield. At this point I just wanted the kitten to be okay, and was ready for another demeaning encounter. Expecting the worse, I arrived. The receptionist was very welcoming, and made me feel right at home. (I do not remember her name, which is a disservice, her customer service was excellent.) Roxy was taken in to be examined. Then Dr. Noah David Salzman came out, and he gave me the news that: Roxy was okay! He went over Roxy’s plan in depth, he took time to give me crucial information, listened to concerns; it was a pleasant and warming experience. Last, he gave me his diagnosis, and prescribed Roxy eye rub. Within two days, Roxy eyes were back to normal! and has been great since. I went from a nightmare to excellent service! Every staff
member I encountered here were genuinely nice and caring people.”

“I took my cat of 12 years here
He was struggling with heart failure, and liver. Unfortunately, I had to make the hard decision to put him down due to his Help. This team was super supportive, kind, and loving.

“I would recommend this clinic 100% !! I was desperately in need of a vet clinic for my English Bulldog due to some stomach issues. I called and the receptionist was so sweet to get me in same day. (It was for a drop off but I was totally fine with that because I knew my puppy needed the care asap) Once we arrived we were welcomed by some really sweet girls showing so much love to my baby. He didn't even care about me leaving him there lol he just walked on back there like he owned that place. Then I was called with the treatment plan by the doctor who explained everything so throughly and made me feel more at peace. We are now on meds and on the road to recovery ‍ thanks to Piedmont Hills Animal Hospital! They have now gained a new pet at their clinic! (Our previous vet we had been to only once and was not a fan- it was very outdated & dirty with blood stains on the lobby floor) and this hospital was sooo clean & modern!”

“Thank You Camden Pet Hospital for saving my Fuzzy Son Toby Cat. I can't express how much I appreciate Dr J. deciding to say that Toby is too young and before his major health issues too healthy for him to be put down. Tuesday, Jan 30 was the start of Toby's recovery and I owe my gratitude and thanks to Dr J and the staff at Camden Pet Hospital. When I woke up on that Tuesday I saw that Toby was even more sick than the prior days and I called Camden Pet Hospital to make an appointment for them to see him. I thought this was to end his life, that I would have to have him euthanized. I didn't think that CHP could save Toby for an amount of money that I could afford. To my wonderful surprise when I met Dr. J and told her the situation, fairly quickly she said that Toby is too young and healthy to be put down. She came up with a treatment plan that I could afford, around $650 that would basically follow what the other vet companies said they would do, treat Toby for 3 days, for a much higher cost, over $3000. The only difference was that I would take Toby home each day at 5 PM and then return him the next day for additional treatment to cure his urinary blockage. As with the prior 2 days, they continued with his treatments until I came at 5 PM Thursday to pick Toby up at the end of his care at CPH, and bring him home. Dr J. said that his urinary blockage had been cleared and the problem with his liver was fixed. All we could do now was to keep an eye on him. Try to get him to continue to eat and drink water. They gave me some special cat food, both dry and wet food for him to eat. This food was a urinary care type of cat food, Hills Urinary Care cat food. All during the time of his illness, I was praying to GOD to help save my Fuzzy Son Toby. I was so afraid I was going to lose him and it was very difficult to hold it together. I was a mess. That night Toby slept with me as he always does and I had the strong belief that he was going to eventually fully recover. From the time I brought Toby home from CHP, he slowly and steadily regained his health. Each day, his recovery progressed. He started eating his cat food and drinking water. It was not a lot at first, but each day he ate and drank more. Also, he started using his cat box. In fact, I set up a separate cat box, food and water dishes in my room as Dr J suggested. More major positive changes happened. He started walking around the house again. He wasn't just staying in my room. At the end of the first week back home, he wanted to go outside again. The things that really showed me that he was getting better is he started acting like my Fuzzy Son again. He was purring often again, playing with his sister Sophie cat, and looking at me like the old Toby Cat, full of LOVE and LIFE! It's now been about 1 1/2 months since the start of this journey and I'm so HAPPY to say that Toby has FULLY RECOVERED! Of course, none of this would have happened if not for Dr J at CPH. Her decision to help Toby, her treatment plan and the care that she and the CHP staff gave Toby is the major reason why he recovered and is healthy again. THANK YOU DR. J AND EVERYONE AT CAMDEN PET HOSPITAL FOR SAVING TOBY'S LIFE.”
