“This review is long overdue. Dr. Singh provided excellent care to our terminally ill Siamese cat who was diagnosed with congestive heart failure at an emergency pet clinic. Rather than having us bring in her in every month to renew her prescription (like the other veterinarian wanted us to do), Dr. Singh wrote a prescription for her medication with a year worth of refills for when her lungs would fill with fluid. He also approved oxygen therapy (emergency O2 canisters). We hoped she would miraculously recover, but she passed about 10 months later. We truly appreciate Dr. Singh for allowing us to care for her without a tremendous amount of financial cost.”

“My experience with Dr. Zacher has been absolutely amazing. She is extremely knowledgeable. My dog has a bunch of auto immune conditions and has been struggling with some stuff recently. He also does not do well under anesthesia. I reached out to Dr. Zacher for a full evaluation and also to ask if he had any dental disease and how much of that was adding to his misery. Dr. Zacher was very patient and answered all my questions without making me feel rushed. She also responded very promptly to my follow up emails and phone calls. She made time to review all his records and explained her finding very thoroughly. She is a very kind, compassionate person and TRULY CARES.”

“I brought my dog, Nala, in for an ear infection and Dr. Choi gave her an excellent exam. Nala’s diagnosis is that she has an ear infection in both her ears and she has allergies also dry eyes. Nala also needed a rabies vaccine. I am happy because Dr. Choi gave me a follow up appointment. The follow up appointment means that she cares about Nala’s health. My grown up daughter, Bridget, gave me a French Bulldog when she was a baby and this bread of dogs are so loving. I love Nala as much as I love my three children. Thank you Karen Martinez”

I have been going here FOR YEARS and maintained a care club membership with this particular VCA even after moving more than 40 minutes away when there are many locations closer. The reason why is the staff, they have always been so kind, warm and attentive to my Jellybean. That's not all, this whole team is STACKED with intelligent and knowledgeable, people friendly and animal friendly staff! The service here is unmatched! I have come in a worried dog mom, many a time and they take my concerns seriously and work hard to get make sure they come up with a plan that we can all agree on to move forward. I need to shout out Dr. Wong, Dr. Steward and Dr. Lin because regardless of who we see I know my girl is in great hands and it doesn't just stop there! The staff, from the people you call to the staff who get us checked in and out, the staff who bring us into our rooms all of them deserve to be appreciated and shouted out DAILY! The peace of mind that I have when I bring her here is worth everything to me. They are such a trusted team that even my cousin from Foster City brings her dog, Pudge, here. “I drove my neighbor to take her cockatiel to For the Birds. I am the second 'Mom' to him and we were both nervous about what they would tell us about his health issues. Firstly let me state this very clearly: Dr. Van Sant is AMAZING! She is knowledgeable and just an incredible source of information. Who knew so many products on the market today and the historical instructions on how to care for a bird are wrong and can cause health issues? We both thought Dr. Van Sant was wonderful! She is direct but not rude. We both thought she was brilliant!! It was eye opening and so informational! The staff was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable as well! Which makes all the difference when going to an office. Thank you Dr Van Sant and to all the staff! On the drive back home there was a big relief that the little guy is on a better path.”

“We took our bunny here for a well visit checkup and was seen by Dr Kevin. I really like Dr K as he is very knowledgeable with exotic animals and was very patient and kind. Bunny seems to like him too! Best part was we got an appointment right away and the administrative staff was very attentive. There was a little miscommunication with the bill for services but the manager helped us resolve that issue and we are leaving 5 star satisfied! Would totally recommend Archvet to anyone w 4 legged pets!”

“My old baby wasn’t doing well and it was time. I went to med vet unannounced hoping someone would tell me I was wrong. Ahn (I don’t know the spelling) greeted me by opening the door and immediately started listening through my tears. She was so patient and kind. Never once did I feel rushed or taken advantage of. She got me to a personal room as quick as possible. She helped me with the paperwork as I was very distraught. A nurse came in and was also very kind. Listened to me and held my baby with care. The doctor came in and gave me my options and helped me do what I knew was right to begin with. Another lady came in and helped me go through my options. I am sure all of them were busy but none of them made me feel like they were. They handled my baby with care. As well as me. I appreciate them being there on such short notice and being so kind. I imagine their work is very difficult for them on a daily basis but our pets need them so much. Anyway. Thank you guys for your help. I hope I don’t have to see you again but I do know that if I ever do need an emergency vet you will be the ones I go to. ❤️?? ”

“We have been taking our 2 year old shih tzu, Lucky, to Piedmont Hills Animal Hospital since he was a puppy. Our close friend recommended them, telling us that the Vets listened to her concerns as well as helped her avoid pricey and unnecessary tests with her little dog. Not only have the staff always been warm and considerate with him, they also are very responsible when we have boarded him overnight. We have had family vacations for several days to a week and have never had anything but positive experiences. It is easier for me to leave our sweet dog here, than using services like Rover or asking family members to watch him, as they are very reasonable as well as knowledgeable with small dog handling. I appreciate that they follow our dietary choices for our dog as well as take him on three daily walks, he always is happy and relaxed when we pick him up. Note- This office is still following covid protocol and you call to alert them of your arrival and they will come out to the parking lot and meet you to collect the dog at your car.”

“Been taking my dogs here for about ten years. In that time, they have had yearly check ups, one has needed surgery, both have had their teeth cleaned, and I have made the occasional emergency call. I am very confident in care and advice provided by Dr Hoge. I believe he has the experience to know when to act and when to wait. In terms of the office staff, I have emailed them and they have always provided a timely response. Many pet owners talk about the price of teeth cleaning. I appreciate the detailed estimate I received. There were no surprises. In the early years, I was able to get same day appointments for the unexpected but like others have noted I find they need to refer to other facilities. I don't know whether this still the case, but they did seem to have new vets, come through over the years and I found them hit or miss. A hit might be the vet who came into meet the dogs and pet them first, spent a lot of time answering questions. Clearly an animal lover. The miss would be the vet who advised us to see the eye specialist for an unresolved tear. We were fortunate to get a next day appointment, but the ophthalmologist could not see a tear and said everything looked healed. Happy for the results, but that was a few hundred dollars and when asked if it seemed likely it would heal in less than 24 hours the response was a laugh and something non-committal. Their Covid protocol is to pick up the animals from the parking lot with the vet calling for a summary. It's a very smooth process. When I have had questions for the doctor for an upcoming appointment they clearly always pass it along. I would recommend Dr.Hoge but can't speak for the other veterinarians. I have not had enough consistent interaction.”

“After being turned away from a another Banfield for an urgent care situation we reached out to this location. The initial response was the same but after escalating it to the practice manager, Mary, they were able to fit our dog in the same day. There were able to eliminate alot of potential causes resulting in a good treatment plan. Great news that he fully recovered. Morale of the story though is always escalate. Don't assume what is being told you is accurate.”

“I've recently added a German Shepard to our family and had the pleasure of taking my new puppy to Dr. Olsen. Dr. Olsen is not only highly knowledgeable but also genuinely passionate about animals. Being a 1st time do own I had a ton of questions. They took the time to listen to all my concerns and answered every question I had, putting my mind at ease. Their gentle approach with my puppy was incredibly reassuring, as they handled her with utmost care and made sure she felt comfortable throughout the visit. What really stood out to me was the thoroughness of the examinations. Dr. Olsen did a complete check-up of my puppy, from nose to tail, and explained every step along the way. In addition to the exceptional care provided, the clinic itself was cozy and inviting, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The experience was not just enjoyable for me but my puppy as well. We will definitely be back for all my puppies future needs. Highly recommended!”
