“Dr. Diaz & Mariah (nurse who took my cat’s vitals) were so helpful and had incredible bedside manner. Mariah was super friendly. Dr. Diaz didn’t rush through my appointment and she genuinely listened to all of my questions and concerns, which is so hard to find in the Bay Area! I’m so happy my girl is in good hands and back to the vet where we first took her to get her vaccines right after we adopted her. The doctor offered a steroid solution that no other vet in the area had offered and my cat is visibly so much happier.
Daniel at the front desk was also so nice on the phone to schedule an appointment, and in person.
Fair pricing for the area. Didn’t feel like they were trying to sell me anything extra that I didn’t need, like most clinics do. Lastly, I appreciate that they have a cat-only entrance to separate from dogs.

“My dog is a patient of Dr Hedden and when my dog was not herself, we called central animal hospital and were able to get her in for an appointment the next day (they actually had a cancellation and could have seen her that day, but we were not available at the time to bring her in) Although I had suspicions she (my dog) had something caught in her throat, over the phone the symptoms I described made the doctor think it could possibly be kennel cough, but after bringing her in and upon further assessment, Dr Hedden was concerned it was something more and wanted to have lab work, and XRay for further evaluation and diagnosis. Because she had not eaten or drank over the past day+, she was showing signs of dehydration and needed IV fluids as well. She was “hospitalized” for the morning and afternoon with the previously mentioned tests and IV fluids and results came back with pancreatitis. She’s now home with us, still not fully recovered (this all took place on Monday/Tuesday, and it is now Thursday), but at least she is excited for walks again, eating/drinking, and pooping! Her energy levels are still low, but she is still going through her course of GI meds and anti-nausea meds. I’m so grateful for the staff and doctors who took care of my dog with prompt treatment and with the wonderful care they provided!”
“The staff and Dr at the Dermatology for Animals Clinic has a better bedside manner than you'd find at most Medical Clinics for Humans! Of course they think our dog is the cutest and they are very thorough with their examination and treatment recommendations.”
