“I don’t leave reviews a lot…never crosses my mind. Usually, when I go into government businesses, I naturally expect a bit of hostility and a general experience. The second I walked in this morning, the 2 gentlemen working made me feel SO welcome. I came for the simplest thing, but I left with such a positive impression. Literally just so kind, welcoming, and helpful. After I left, I needed to give these men their flowers. If I was a business owner, I’d be so lucky to have them working with me. Their smiles and warmth changed my mood around!”
“My friend and I went in to get passports this morning for the walk-in appointments and there were a loooot of people. The woman doing passport appointments, Christine, was wonderful. She was kind, quick, and extremely helpful with questions we had. I totally recommend the passport area of this USPS.”
“I love this post office... it's my favorite one. I mail out a lot of packages and have tried a couple other post offices that were more on my errands route, only to be greatly frustrated. It's a very large post office and the staff are all very nice. Usually I self scan and mail, but if there's an important package I will wait in line and I always have a pleasant experience no matter which clerk I get.
There are 3 self scan machines, a passport office and lots of PO boxes, as well as a little retail area like to buy cards and fancy packaging. PLENTY of parking, too.”

“I've had a PO box here for 2y now. Initially the one worker there was a woman close to retirement who I guess never filed any of my PO box paperwork from when I originally got it (this became an issue later with a name change and documentation) or gave me the door code for after hours. But she left a while ago and there's a new guy who's on top of things and great.
Prices of po boxes change but when I got one here this was the cheapest option in the area because it's small and not a 24h or typical big post office - however for PO box renters you get a door code for after hours so don't worry about it not being open as late if you're just picking up mail.
Otherwise no complaints, and unlike where I last had a PO box(rsf and pasadena) I've never had an issue with package theft here or misdeliveries. The 2 times there was a package issue had to do with a site not letting me add the PO box 4digit zip ending so they didn't know whose box it belonged to - but found my name and just called me.”
“It's always been a great experience at this location. The postal workers are always courteous and professional. But they are understaffed. So things move along pretty slowly. Who's fault is that? The public (voters).”

“This just happened today and I had a very funny and EXCELLENT experience!!! ?? shoutout to USPS 1170 E Valley Pkwy Crew & Supervisor/Manager, SIR MAURICE!!! Thank you so much for taking care of my package ASAP, driving all the way to our apartment & and dropping my NOT SO FRAGILE BUT VERY IMPORTANT package in front of our door when it got delivered in a wrong unit due to some WEIRD SHIPPING LABEL PRINT!!! ? ?❤️ Y’ALL ARE THE BEST AND GOES ABOVE & BEYOND your job!!!”

“I have no clue why some reviewers so negative about staff. They’re nicest people here, considering they stand on their feet the whole shift. It’s a post office, not a church. I live in this area for a year and always getting 100% excellent customer service including answering my stupid questions. Be kind and respectful, you’ll receive same back.”
“We had a passport appointment for my son and everything was quick and easy. Kathleen was helping us out and she explained the passport processing time, fees. The whole process took less than 15 minutes.”
“Every employee was great, and helpful understanding that mailing can be complicated and some of us could be lost and provide a beautiful welcome experience that actually encourage me to use more mailing often.”
“Just be kind to the staff and you’ll be taking care of. Trent was the gentleman who helped me when I stopped by right before closing and was particularly swamped when he did. I smiled, exchanged pleasantries and ultimately my experience there that day was amazing. I would highly recommend just being kind.”

“OK people, one more time. The RB customer service USPS location is NOT in this building. This is primarily a processing center with a drive-through mail drop for the convenience of people who don't want to get out of the car. The USPS customer service office is two blocks down the street to the south at Bernardo Center and Lomica Dr. So, please stop going to the wrong place and then trashing USPS workers for not being able to help you.And, BTW, if you don't like the USPS, try mailing something anywhere else. Only Vatican City has a better postal service - but they don't have to do door-to-door delivery for over 300 million people spread over an entire continent. Our postal workers are great folks working habitually short-staffed, so show some respect.”

“I never write review for anything but i just have to shout out Steven!. He is the the most paitient and loves to do his job. I applied for my passport and everything went smooth, I was outta there in 10 minutes. This is now my go to post office for passport services, way better than oceanside post office. I recommend coming prepared and double checking everthing before coming. and respecting other people appointment times.”
