“Mel's Diner Pinole great place to eat clean always great service I always came there as a group play serve groups really fast and really well giving groups all their attention that's needed food is wonderful my favorite is the BLT with avocado on the side and a cup of clam chowder wonderful meal that fabulous cornbread”
“What a fun place for a shopping trip...parking is, like in so many other places, the biggest hurdle. They'd probably be twice as busy with free and plentiful parking options....tons of places to eat, to have a coffee or a treat...the Sur La Table store is probably the nicest and largest in the bay area. Great place if you are on the hunt for quality cutlery or cookware. Super friendly and knowledgeable staff ( I was checking out their deals on Staub?). Always worth a trip?”
“Good place for Asian restaurants, Chinese herbs, and more. There often seems to be a new restaurant opening or getting ready to open. Ranch 99 is the anchor here, selling Asian groceries, produce, prepared food, fresh/ live seafood, name it and they probably have it.”

They had a huge selection right there in the store, so I could grab exactly what I needed. The staff was really helpful, courteous, and knew their products inside and out. “We went during the Christmas market event and it was very nice. They even had a lama petting booth. During regular times, the mall looks pretty nice with all of its outdoor decor and seating areas.
However, I will never forget parking garage elevator #4. It was the scariest elevator I have ever been on. It opened the doors before stopping, and sometimes it only opened the doors halfway upon arriving to a floor. It also jerked up and down at random times, even when it was stopped at a floor. Also, it smelled like raw fish mixed with other bad odors.”
“This is a very upscale Safeway in North Oakland. There's a deli inside. You can grab a quick lunch or just some pre-made food to go home and have dinner and you don't have to cook. It's clean. There's ample parking. Very nice. Safeway”
“I go out of my way to shop at Hercules Home Depot. The one in El cerrito has day laborers everywhere and they run up to your car to try to get work. I don't feel safe”
