The United States Postal Service at 2080 23rd St is a reliable and dedicated postal location serving the community. USPS delivers mail and packages to over 157 million addresses across the U.S., its territories, and military bases worldwide. The office manages a large volume of mail, processing 47 percent of the world’s mail through over 30,000 retail locations. Staff members are generally friendly, courteous, and patient, providing helpful assistance to customers. They offer facilities such as chapels for writing or preparing packages, and the lines are usually short or manageable. Customers appreciate the staff’s kindness and their efforts to make the experience smooth, even during busy times. However, there are occasional challenges. Some employees may need better training, as misunderstandings or mistakes can lead to longer lines. One notable incident involved a customer who was upset and spoke harshly to an employee who was working hard to troubleshoot technical issues on a busy day. The employee responded respectfully, maintaining professionalism despite the difficult situation. Another employee was praised for her patience and helpfulness, especially when assisting with packaging and providing tape. Despite staffing shortages causing longer wait times at times, the overall service is appreciated, with many recognizing it as one of the better USPS locations. The staff’s kindness and efforts to serve the community stand out, making it a dependable choice for mailing needs.

The lady who serves does not speak Spanish, there were several people wanting to send packages who spoke Spanish and she patiently tried to get out to everyone.

I understand that the line is long due to short staff as long that the employee's are harworking and courteous which they are. But some employee need better training because they don't know what they are doing and that is the reason why the line end up too long.
