Alex runs a very honest business that excels on quality & honesty at a fair price. You never have to worry about getting ripped off or have worked performed that is not necessary. What I love about VAR is that they are always nice enough to give me a ride home so that I can leave my car there all day if need be for repairs. I live close to the shop & have only one vehicle so it makes it convenient for me. You will not find a better shop in National City & the immediate surrounding area in my humble opinion. The staff was super friendly and welcoming the moment I arrived, and they speak both English and Spanish, which made everything even easier. They had exactly what I needed — four tires for my car — and the total price was only $190 including the tires, balancing, and labor. You really can’t beat that deal!
It only took about 30 minutes for all four tires — quick, efficient, and done right. This is definitely my new go-to spot for anything tire-related.

We came across MAGIC TIRE shop. not only did they take me in right away but they were able to replace the tire in roughly twenty minutes at a very reasonable price. They saved the day for me! They were efficient and professional. i would definitely recommend them!!”

“I walked in the shop to see a spotless workplace. Always a good sign. I spoke with Fernando about purchasing 2 tires for my 2019 Ford Escape. He quoted me a good price for new Pirellis with the warranty, maintenance care, and balanced. I had Continentals on the vehicle, but dont recommend them. Too soft, cracking and peeling occured. Going back to Superior for 2 more Pirellis next month. ??”
