I received an unexpected charge for an “upgrade” I did not request or want, apparently due to a shortage of vehicles at the airport. Upon challenging the up-charge the agent said it was not possible to reverse it. Be alert for unanticipated charges when you reserve and pay for your rental online. ***
However, when I explained my experience to Dollar Car Rental through the company's Business Chat service, an agent reviewed my case and within a matter of hours I received a sincere apology and a full reimbursement of the up-charge. As a result of this positive experience I will continue to look to Dollar Car Rental as my first choice!”
