Hardware Stores
“We started using Dunn-Edwards paints after a contractor recommended them to us many years ago. We've used their paint exclusively on our house ever since. The paint has held up incredibly well over the years, they have hundreds of colors and several sheens/types to choose from and custom color matches are quick and easy. The store is well stocked with all painting supplied and is very conveniently located near the heart of downtown, with parking, and the service is incredibly personable. So quick and easy when I need to grab a quart of touch-up paint for a bedroom - highly recommend Dunn-Edwards!”
“This small hardware store has a decent selection despite its small size. I am pleased with their selection of odds and ends that come in handy for various home repairs, but their tool selection is disappointing, I would like to see more name brands. Prices are a little high but the convenience makes it worth it.”
“The team in the 3 locations is fantastic. They have a wide variety of amazing parts available in the store, can include all that is needed to build something and find many options to be creative. The tools store and windows has great brands.
Prices for the lumber are okay, considering that they have a larger lumber sizes in the yard ready to be part of a project around the local area or distance with the option to be delivery.”
“I can't rave enough about capitol hardware. I had a tight schedule and Alan helped me with creativity and we got the job done with in stock items in the store.Trudi Carey, the Carey Group, Inc.”
“Was in this store around 2:00 today. I was not able to speak with their mechanic, like I had wanted to. However I was able to to have some questions answered about the Kress Robotic mower. Despite only seeming to have a couple employees on staff they were still able to answer my questions. There was a few things they didn’t know but I don’t expect the cashiers to have all the answers. Hopefully next time I come in the mechanic will be back so that I can ask him about my riding mower and wether they think they can fix it or if I need to get a whole new one and which one would be comparable to the one I had. It’s a toro time cutter looks like this, but dirty/used now.”
“I walked in with a wobbly rear wheel on my mobility walker and asked if they knew of someone who would be able to fix it. Without hesitation he pulled out some tools and did it for me right there on the spot. I am so grateful for the kindness of this business.”
“Worlds most expensive hardware store, bar none… however everywhere you turn there’s someone in a red shirt who is friendly and knowledgeable or will find you someone better suited to help with any project
That kind of service isn’t free, it costs a couple bucks more, but that is what makes SBHIC top notch”
