“My family has been using R&S Automotive since around 1989 and always had outstanding service and repairs! Everyone from the owner Eddie to Mario has always provided us with total quality service for our VW Turbo Beetle, Honda Ridgeline Sport 4x4, Firebird, Toyota trucks and Camrys, Acura etc. This afternoon a service indicator light activated on my 2013 Honda Ridgeline and I stopped by to see if they had time to do a diagnostic and quickly was told by Mario it was not serious, merely time to replace the oil, filters and check all the fluids! Mario has worked there for many years and has always given me honest estimates and timely service! I know they are always busy and prefer an appointment but have always accommodated me for an emergency. They have earned our trust and reputation for quality service and repairs!”

“Shy diagnosed the noise (clicking /clunking when reversing) & offered 2 options on my Toyota 4Runner. I chose to replace the driveshaft since the vehicle has high mileage & I rather replace it with a newer part to prevent further issues. He ordered the Toyota OEM part & his team replaced it quickly. “I have been going to JGM since 2002. The first time to inquire about having my engine rebuilt. Jim the owner at the time was friendly, professional, answered every question, show me the shop. He invited me to come back the next day they were going to watch the Daytona 500 on Tv. I did and their I met a bunch of nice guys and learned more about JGM. I also met Ryan the current owner as he just started working at JGM.
I have found the only difference between Jim and Ryan is the age
Ryan is a Great Guy, and Excellent Machinist. He always has time for customer's, to take call on the phone, even when he real busy.
He is friendly, Professional, takes the time to answer questions, he explains the process when you bring him and engine to work on.
I can't say enough about Ryan, and his co-worker Jerry, can't say enough about him. Top guy in his field, been with JGM a lot of years at least 25.
When you bring your engine to JGM you are treated like family. I have been for 20+ years.
If you have a engine you need fix, or machine work you won't find a better, more profession shop then JGM Performance Engineering”

He hired Abel to help with the customers as he can dedicates himself more to the customers car issues.
One great thing is that Lyons auto center is AAA approved vendor so all work done has a 2 year warranty.”
“This is the only place for transmission work! I have been dealing with this shop for years and when my transmission started slipping, I had it towed over to Leon's with no hesitation. Chris was honest and straight to the point and the final price was what he quoted originally. He called with updates, tolerated and answered all my questions. He didn't try to upsell anything, even when i asked about upgrades he explained why it wasn't necessary to spend more money on more expensive parts. We need more shops run like this in SCV. “We own a 2003 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter motorhome that kept going into limp mode.
Once our Sprinter, manufactured in February 2003, reached 200°F, the engine wouldn’t go past 2000 RPM but if we downshifted and manually shifted gears, we could get it back to speed. The first mechanic we took it to could not read any of the codes, and therefore was unable to help us diagnose the problem. He suggested a trial and error type of repair approach. Next we drove 20 miles to another highly recommend Sprinter repair shop only to be told that our vehicle could not be worked on because it is a 2003 and is mechanically different from the Sprinters that were made the following year. In other words, they did not have the tools to work on our van. Next we bought a little Autel scanner and attempted to scan the vehicle ourselves. We made a little progress but nothing that helped us fix the problem. Then I remembered in 2019, we took the Sprinter over to our local Aamco dealer, Mark Beaulieu, for a window repair. I remembered that he was able to get the codes from our vehicle. I got in touch with him and asked him if the codes that our vehicle threw would be in their computer system from 2019. Mark said they should be and I told him I would stop by the shop to see if we could get them. I did and they were! Next we took the camper to Aamco to have it scanned. Mark was able to read the new codes and suggested we leave the camper at the shop for diagnosis. After assessing the vehicle, Mark discovered that the hose between the turbo and the engine was disintegrated. He replaced it AND JUST LIKE THAT our camper RAN PERFECTLY! He also filled the tires and tied down the battery. Mark was the ONLY MECHANIC that was able to help us! Needless to say we are now very happy campers! We highly, highly recommend going over to see Mark at Aamco for all of your automotive repair needs!”

“I just realized that it has been 12 years since my last review. Time to update my review!! I have been seeing Brian Clark of Engine Dynamics now for 24 years. Every time I have to take my car to any dealership for something, I always end up having to take it to Brian to fix what they did. He is so honest and such a genuine guy. The quality of service is above and beyond. I send all of my friends and all of my clients to him and always get a great report back. I've had cars that have needed more work than others. If I can't get it all done at once, he helps me prioritize what is urgent and what can wait. On 2 occasions, he turned away money. He told me it's not worth fixing and I should just trade the car in. He could have just taken my money and kept fixing the car, but his reputation and integrity are too important to him. I don't know what I would do if Brian ever tried to retire. That would be the worst!”
