“My husband was out of town which is always when the lights on my dashboard always come on. I had low tire issues and one of my tires was very low. I had a lot of driving to do during the week, so the notification stressed me out. I pulled into Joy Automotive Repair because it was the first automotive place I saw. Well lucky for me, I did because Alberto Maytorena, one of the workers there, was so kind and helped me with my problem. He checked the air in all my tires and filled them for me. I was bowled over by his kindness and helpful nature. Also, he didn't charge me even though I asked to do so. It was a very positive experience and I would definitely go back. (Customer Service is so important and these days, I feel like it's gone downhill, but not here at Joy Automotive!)”

My vehicle showed no codes for my problem, so things that were required to be maintained were done first. The issue persisted, and SM Auto provide a rental, twice, and replaced multiple parts with the labor, and provided it all without a single invoice for payment: all parts and labor!
If you really want to know that Brian, Brett, and other mechanics, will care about customer service, and not just getting a paycheck, SM Autoworks has to be your choice. Rick Tharp”

He grabbed a battery jumper, walked almost a block with me to my car, got it started right away, and also explained what the issue might be and how to handle it if it happens again. He was kind, patient, and generous with his time. Really great customer service — highly recommend.”

I stopped by a month ago as I had a headlight out. Junior immediately got to work replacing it and was done in 5 minutes. Usually Mercedes requires you to take off the front end but he had special tools to make it faster.
I came back for my squeaky brakes. He explained exactly what was happening and what I needed to fix right away and what I could wait on. He gave me a fair price and even took it for a wash/detail and checked everything was working properly. He also topped off my coolant and wiper fluid AND put air in my tires. THAT is the type of guy he is! Very caring and sweet! No other mechanic can compare to his level of service and kindness.
So stop reading and take your car there right now! I wouldn’t trust anyone else.”

“I have been living in Santa Monica for 14yrs. I recently purchased a Mercedes that would only start with a jump start. The seller told me I needed to change the auxiliary battery which I bought and took to E and E Automotive. Ed the owner of 26 yrs immediately told me I needed a new main battery, but as I requested he change the auxiliary battery for me as we conversed. The new auxiliary battery did not fix the problem and Ed only charged me a reasonable $40. Ed also suggested a few issues the car may have just by listening to the engine. I went to O’Reilly bought a new battery and sure enough the car starts and runs perfectly. Anyone who needs an honest mechanic who really knows about cars I highly recommend you give Ed a call.

“This is my go-to spot when I need work done on my car. These guys can do it all, from brakes, to engine mounting. Sometimes they need to order parts for specific jobs, but when you are scheduling an appointment, tell them exactly what needs to be done, and your make/model/year, they will arrange to have the parts ready by the time of your appointment. While sometimes the work that I ask them to do is complicated and time consuming, they usually finish it a little bit early, which is great for me since I have a bit of a drive to get back home from the shop.
The folks working there care about their customers and their cars. Ajit is super helpful in explaining everything that he is doing with my car, and makes sure that everything is running smoothly before he hands me back the keys.
Prices are very reasonable here. Over the last several years, they’ve saved me a lot of money when compared to getting the same work done at a dealership. 10/10 service, cannot recommend this place enough!”

“If I could give Pacific Motors 10⭐️ I would in a heartbeat! We have a 2018 Macan GTS and have been price gouged by Porsche Beverly Hills for YEARS…Luis and the guys at Pacific Motors were able to replace all four brake pads and sensors with factory Porsche pads AND detect/fix a coolant issue WITH a Two Year Warranty at LITERALLY 1/5 the cost I was quoted at BH Porsche. How you may ask? Bc every Porsche dealership charges ~$475 per hour of labor while paying their techs -$45/hr. It’s a horrendous ‘scam’. We will ONLY be working with Luis at Pacific Motors from here on out!!! We ❤️ our Macan and maintaining “Lucy” is important to us and we are beyond thrilled to be working with a Shop that CARES about its clients and their vehicles and not just what they can charge.”
“I called Kondo after finding them on Next Door. An actual skilled mechanic answered the phone and diagnosed the issue with my car. I didn’t have to bring it in to the shop luckily, in fact he told me not to and what to do instead. He made a customer for life and I haven’t even been their customer yet ha. “We drove from Sacramento after a dissatisfing expierence at Carmax Roseville. We call SF Toyota and talked to Jerel about a Venza. A couple hours later we arrived in SF. We were greeted by Jerel. He was very up beat, positive and accommodating. The deal was simple and stress free. The Venza was awesome, as described and ready. Carmax wouldnt even let us see the Highlander we were scheduled to see. We closed our deal in about 2.5-3 hours. They even offered to buy us dinner. Great Expierence! Good people and our sales guy Jerel? Top Notch!”
