“I came to this spot in DIRE need of an upgrade in clothing, & Steve REALLY walked me through what I needed to get the best fit possible. After mulling it over for a couple of days, I decided Steve was my guy. Came back a couple of days later, but my man wasn't there. No problem...Kayla stepped in & took over where Steve left off. I told her about an important appointment I had the next day, & I was staying in a hotel here in Santa Monica. Not only did Kayla offer me a garment bag to carry my stuff, she also STEAMED the wrinkles out so I would look my best! Can't thank those two enough for helping me achieve the look I was looking for! As the saying goes, "You only get one chance to make a first impression", & thanks to Steve & Kayla, my first impression WILL be impressive!”

“Great shop! I lived in LA when great men's shops were plentiful. Moved east in the 90's. As times change most of the men's shops closed. Discovered Sid Mashburn on line and shopped the DC shop a few times. Very nice. Moved back to So Cal a few years ago. Gave up on LA and was going to Newport for clothes. I ordered a couple things on line last year from Mashburn and decided to visit the Brentwood shop. I knew it was small but I was hopeful. Let me start with the look. How about a diminutive Paul Stewart or that outstanding men's shop in BH that closed a few years back? Yep, Mashburn is it!The people are tremendous! Chris is the GM. He knows his stuff and makes shopping easy. Vin is the expert tailor. It's all about the fit and they nail it every time. They now have my measurements on file and the buying is so easy I go nuts from time to time because the clothes are outstanding. Go to Sid Mashburn to find great clothes and terrific service. You won't be disappointed!”

“What a epic shopping experience we had in this store! I've always been a HUGE fan of this brand and recently shopped at the AllSaints in Soho/Londontown.That store was beyond decorated with sewing machines 100's of them lining the stairway to heaven :) Kelly helped us at the Santa Monica location, she was aabsolute dream waiting on the two of us. The price points are a bit high at this place but totally worth it in my opinion. The jewelry was a long time favorite in thepast and I wasn't at all surprised that the clothing and shoes were out of this world amazing. When we first walked in a sweet gal named Natalie greeted me and showed me to the jewelry counter. I just had to have the bangles that were marked $168. I had to have them. I was so delighted that when Kelly rang me up it was only $104. Yay! Nice surprise. That's when my daughter found me because she had to hit another storeand she instinctively knew where I would go...My daughter Kiley headed straight away to the shoes and boots section and Oh My the selections were amazing to say the least.She literally had to but 2 pair. She did need a upgrade from the ones she was wearing for work. She has a job in tech that now she has to go in to the office 3 days a week...The new normal having to into the office now. Kiley purchased the loafers and the white boots (on sale) and I got the white boots after I got home! No room in the suitcase...Kelly deserves a major shout out because she was adorable and very helpful to us. I called a week later to ask her to let me know when/ if these killer black boots go on sale. She was a major delight to the shopping experience! There also was a lovely guy helping us as well but I forgot his name :( We were lucky that the store wasn't that busy at the time we were there. It was a Saturday and it was the mall in Santa Monica. Also for all you on-line shoppers my daughter and I both purchased the size 9. We've never been a 9 before butKelly said she had to go up a size as well. There are not half sizes available. Can't wait to go back to this location! I'd you go to London you MUST go to the Soho shop! 10 stars”

“I wish I could say more but it's 10:30 am local time and there (newer) location on Montaña in SaMo seems nice from a window shopping perspective yet neither locations phone numbers actually ring to even a voicemail that explains their hours much less anywhere posted on brick and mortar nor web links, Yelp...etc! Maybe I'll get a reply w info yet I have no eye deer how businesses stay fluid when they're closed while all their neighbors flourish w business! “Over the past year and a half (or so), my husband has bought three suits at Indochino in Santa Monica, CA. After our last experience, we decided to take my son there for his own custom suit before his wedding in March. We went today and met up with Ky, who also handled my hubby’s last appointment (his first suit was selected with Duranson, who was also fantastic). What an amazing experience! Ky made this day so special with his wonderful customer service and professionalism. He made some great recommendations, but left the decisions for my son to make. We can’t wait to see the suit when it arrives. We know the quality will be outstanding and my son will look great on his wedding day. “I have to admit: I live in LA for 14 years, and never heard about this store.I am visiting the Santa Monica area once in 2-3 months, specially the 3rd St. promenade, but didn't notice this store.Last week I had a guest from the UK, and she was the one who noticed the store, while we were there on Saturday. Apparently, she is familiar with their clothes, and love them from London.The moment we entered the store, we were greeted by Chris with a very warm welcoming. He helped my friend, and 2 other customers at the same time, with the BEST customer service I have ever seen. He was so kind, happy, nice , helpful, with an exact eye for sizes and designs. He new in a minute which size my friend needs, and the same for the other 2 customers. "juggling" between all the 3 of them, bringing them everything they wanted, suggested new items (in the exact size), helping all of us checking out , and all of that, with a big smile and a warm heart. What an amazing experience!My friend ended up buying a few items, and so did the other 2.Because he told us he is the manager in Pacific Palisades, we drove there on Monday :-) to check the store over there, before my friend headed back to London.I must say - every business owner who has such a loyal employee, is blessed.Chris is definitely working in the store like it was his.Thank you Chris. “Decent location overall, pretty big, clean, well lit. They had a good selection of merchandise, so it was fun browsing, checking the store out. My first time here, I used to shop at the location on the Promenade. The fitting rooms were fine, customer service was OK, not amazing but decent. I don't shop at this chain that often but I usually like to check it out, see if anything fits my needs since prices are still reasonable and the style is trendy, hip and fun. I like to keep my options open!”

They quickly exchanged my item, steamed the new shirt I was picking up, and offered me bottled water while I waited. The store was clean and in good standing. Will definitely visit again when I have more time to actually shop!”

“My guy friend bought light grey corduroy pants here, & he came back with me (bc idk why but I adore looking at men's' clothing???) to find the exact same pants in a tan colour. He has great difficulty finding pants bc he's relatively thin but he's 6 foot 5, so every pair of pants he buys ends up being capris (lol). For some reason the size XL in these corduroy pants fits him perfectly. I don't know if they stretch bc you wouldn't think he was a size XL if you saw him, so either the waist is thinner but the size reflects the length, or they have a great capacity to stretch but are on the longer side. I found it interesting that there was nobody on the store floor to greet us, etc. My friend said he prefers that. He kind of just walked in, bee-lined to the corduroy pants he found last time, noticed that the only Colours available were: light grey, a charcoal black, & a forest green. He wanted to get the forest green pants but he just bought a similar shade of green sweater that he keeps wearing so I suggested the black variation so that nobody mistakes him for a Christmas tree. He wants the pants in tan, so hopefully they'll come out with them, but this review is more for the buying experience. Same $ as you'd pay in H&M, Target, etc. There's self-checkout (?!?). This place is definitely for the self-sufficient, avoidant-of-human-contact, shopper. There was an employee overseeing the self check-out but not a word was muttered. I was honestly so confused but my friend was just living his best life. I think there's cashiers too which would be helpful if you were returning something or desperate for human interaction. I would come here again! Corduroy pants are the new corduroy pants. Oh yeah that's right, they never went out of style. . . I even made up a song to celebrate his experience: Pants that fit Pants that fit I really love buying pants that fit Don't show my ankles Don't get tangled I'm wearing corduroy pants that fit Thanks UNIQLO!”
