“I’d like to share that I was in the store today and a very rude woman was making racist comments and the two volunteers working at the store asked her to leave and she refused and then she physically assaulted of the women and it was disgusting to watch. This is a beautiful store that does great work for an amazing cause and the volunteers working there did not deserve to be treated like that. Please have respect when you shop at this establishment.”

I came in looking for a quarter zip and left with a bunch of fun sweaters, a button down that doesn’t gape over my tatas (!!!!!), a knit jacket, and a unique purse that I can’t wait to use everyday. “The Vans store on 3rd Street Promenade is really off the wall — pun intended. Whether you’re after a classic pair of checkerboards, skate shoes, or just a dose of California skate culture, this spot delivers.
The store is spacious, well organized, and carries a good mix of classics and newer releases. Staff are friendly and let you browse without hovering, which is appreciated when you’re debating whether you really need another pair of Vans (you probably do).
It’s also a nice reminder that 3rd Street Promenade still has some of its original California character tucked between the bigger retail names.
Pro tip: Check the back and clearance sections before heading to the register — finding a pair you like and on sale is the retail equivalent of landing a kickflip”
“i'm a viewer of tv series "fresh off the boat, a story of the americanization of a taiwanese family who immigrates to florida. their family grandmother matriarch is proud of her chinese culture, and wears asian american chinese tops. i'd admired the look, and searched the source as citron in santa monica. in 2019, i ordered 5 tops to wear on special asian events. the shipment was prompt. two of the tops had a chinese motifs. the other 3, was more japanese. the tops are made of quality materials which are wash & wear. i would order more when i downsize my closet space. thanks citron...”
“I came here with a couple of out-of-state friends for some quick shopping. The layout is great, it reminds me a lot of the Uniqlo in FigAt7 in DTLA. It has two floors, every customer service representative is friendly, approachable and professional, and we found everything we were looking for. They also have custom designs on the t-shirts, which you can see and apply on one of their stations, and the final design would be ready for you in about 10 minutes, very nice perk! Overall, an excellent place to shop at, like every other Uniqlo store.”

“This location for Free People is pretty much what you expect anywhere store-wise. The clothes are artfully thrown on hangers and around the store creating a very laid back vibe. I really love Free People clothes although as I am getting older I have less choices. But, these things happen. The sales girls were very nice and I had a great shopping experience. I would come back if I am in the Santa Monica area again.”
