“I came to this spot in DIRE need of an upgrade in clothing, & Steve REALLY walked me through what I needed to get the best fit possible. After mulling it over for a couple of days, I decided Steve was my guy. Came back a couple of days later, but my man wasn't there. No problem...Kayla stepped in & took over where Steve left off. I told her about an important appointment I had the next day, & I was staying in a hotel here in Santa Monica. Not only did Kayla offer me a garment bag to carry my stuff, she also STEAMED the wrinkles out so I would look my best! Can't thank those two enough for helping me achieve the look I was looking for! As the saying goes, "You only get one chance to make a first impression", & thanks to Steve & Kayla, my first impression WILL be impressive!”

“After two new hips, it was time to get myself some new tennis shoes. Everything SoHui suggested was spot on--after trying on a couple of styles-- the 990s were the way to go. Podiatrist recommended, she said, and I could see why. Huge difference for my aching legs and back. And she said they tend to run half a size bigger; also, spot on. I usually wear a 7-1/2 but the 7 fit purr-fectly! Plus, room for my orthotics (w/ New Balance's removable insoles, so smart). I noticed as I wore them for the first time today, not only are they a huge improvement over the ones I bought a few years back (very cushiony), they also give me some nice lift. I did the Yelp check-in and SoHui was happy to give me the 10% discount. All in all, a much better experience that I was expecting.”

As a gal who was born in Santa Monica and has seen many stores open and close on this street- this spot gives me all the vibes of what boutiques and establishments used to be like in LA/on the westside back in the day: welcoming, great selection of merchandise, staff that acknowledges your existence and a relaxed shopping atmosphere. The store has a great and affordable selection of clothes, jewelry, and seasonal accessories/gifts. Their selection also changes frequently so there are always new items to be found. I always make sure to stop by to see what new items they have when I'm running errands on Montana :) I encourage you to pay them a visit if you're in the area!”

He emphasized how important it is to have the right board over getting something that wouldn't work from them. His honesty was so appreciated and I love the board I got! Their prices are good and they have a wide selection of many things that you would want to purchase from Nepal. “Came by Sand n Surf because we booked a reservation on Bounce to leave our luggage behind for the day as we explored Santa Monica. The staff were very friendly and helpful in checking us in and storing our luggage. We even bought some souvenirs after because we enjoyed the service a lot. They have a lot of different souvenirs to choose from. Highly recommend!”

“Legit the best customer service experience ever.I called Natalia after several items I saw online were out of stock, but she went above and beyond to make sure she did everything possible to ensure I received my bundle in time for a birthday present. Natalia reached out to every Brooklinen store in the US and gave me a call back within twenty minutes. Her and Jen (in Philly) displayed the utmost remarkable service and help. They are very kind and diligent people who went out of their way to fulfill my order. I am so happy and pleased to have their help! (Pls promote them). “What a epic shopping experience we had in this store! I've always been a HUGE fan of this brand and recently shopped at the AllSaints in Soho/Londontown.That store was beyond decorated with sewing machines 100's of them lining the stairway to heaven :) Kelly helped us at the Santa Monica location, she was aabsolute dream waiting on the two of us. The price points are a bit high at this place but totally worth it in my opinion. The jewelry was a long time favorite in thepast and I wasn't at all surprised that the clothing and shoes were out of this world amazing. When we first walked in a sweet gal named Natalie greeted me and showed me to the jewelry counter. I just had to have the bangles that were marked $168. I had to have them. I was so delighted that when Kelly rang me up it was only $104. Yay! Nice surprise. That's when my daughter found me because she had to hit another storeand she instinctively knew where I would go...My daughter Kiley headed straight away to the shoes and boots section and Oh My the selections were amazing to say the least.She literally had to but 2 pair. She did need a upgrade from the ones she was wearing for work. She has a job in tech that now she has to go in to the office 3 days a week...The new normal having to into the office now. Kiley purchased the loafers and the white boots (on sale) and I got the white boots after I got home! No room in the suitcase...Kelly deserves a major shout out because she was adorable and very helpful to us. I called a week later to ask her to let me know when/ if these killer black boots go on sale. She was a major delight to the shopping experience! There also was a lovely guy helping us as well but I forgot his name :( We were lucky that the store wasn't that busy at the time we were there. It was a Saturday and it was the mall in Santa Monica. Also for all you on-line shoppers my daughter and I both purchased the size 9. We've never been a 9 before butKelly said she had to go up a size as well. There are not half sizes available. Can't wait to go back to this location! I'd you go to London you MUST go to the Soho shop! 10 stars”

“I love to shop and I really dig Ruti. The clothing is contemporary quality. The fabrics are incredible. They focus on machine washable! Yes! And their clothes are catered to those who travel so think limited wrinkle fabrics. They have tons of amazing basics, quality knits and also some dresses. I have a gorgeous, black lace casual dress from them and also work slacks. Great, broad range of selections. Try things on though - the hanger appeal is not always there but when you put on the pieces, it's when it starts to work and you see and experts flattery magic. They also design for layers which in SoCal is key. I love their cuts and quality. They also have seasonal colors. I highly recommend this designer. Their sales people are very attentive and helpful. I always am impressed by their attentiveness.”

“I stumbled across Citron during their Sidewalk sale and what a beautiful selection! I specifically wanted a kimono style silk jacket and they has sizes from XM - XXXL. It was hard to choose which one to buy!I bought a beautiful one and my friend bought 2. She also bought 3 two layered silk sleeveless tops. I think we spent over an hour just browsing and deciding what to buy.Both Kyoko and Eri, who worked on this day were so kind, sweet, patient and helpful! I will stop in again, just to say Hello to them!Most items are silk and some are not, but everything has a beautiful combination of Japanese silks with tie dye and batik overlays. Amy helped me. She's been there for a few years and she has always been so helpful and kind. I love her! She's a gem of an employee. Every holiday my husband goes in there to buy me a birthday and Christmas gift. He always finds such a cute stuff and he takes our kids and they shop for me. Brooke has a done a great job of curating really cute tops, dresses, sweaters and jeans, as well as shoes and accessories. “I have to admit: I live in LA for 14 years, and never heard about this store.I am visiting the Santa Monica area once in 2-3 months, specially the 3rd St. promenade, but didn't notice this store.Last week I had a guest from the UK, and she was the one who noticed the store, while we were there on Saturday. Apparently, she is familiar with their clothes, and love them from London.The moment we entered the store, we were greeted by Chris with a very warm welcoming. He helped my friend, and 2 other customers at the same time, with the BEST customer service I have ever seen. He was so kind, happy, nice , helpful, with an exact eye for sizes and designs. He new in a minute which size my friend needs, and the same for the other 2 customers. "juggling" between all the 3 of them, bringing them everything they wanted, suggested new items (in the exact size), helping all of us checking out , and all of that, with a big smile and a warm heart. What an amazing experience!My friend ended up buying a few items, and so did the other 2.Because he told us he is the manager in Pacific Palisades, we drove there on Monday :-) to check the store over there, before my friend headed back to London.I must say - every business owner who has such a loyal employee, is blessed.Chris is definitely working in the store like it was his.Thank you Chris. “A really special store in the best way! - Savannah Santa Monica carries beautiful clothing, accessories, shoes & jewelry & the people who work there are wonderful - great at finding just the right pieces to suit you - & putting them together - make you look great from head to toe - really, from the dress to shoes to earrings & bag to carry- -& make the whole experience fun. You walk out feeling fabulous. Also, the owner & staff who are each great stylists -have a great eye & sense of enhancing each individual shopper's unique look & wardrobe. I get stopped all the time whenever I wear something from Savannah -whether it's jeans, a jacket, a dress - because not only are the items beautiful -they find pieces that suit & enhance each individual person. I must share that when my favorite jacket was ruined at the dry cleaners - I contacted Savannah . . .as I said it was just such a fabulous piece - & Savannah somehow managed to locate another jacket from the designer & sent it to me to replace the ruined jacket - at no charge - not even for the shipping- the package just arrived at my doorstep - Wow, now that's just really remarkable. I also love Savannah because it's not a huge store where you're overwhelmed with choices - instead of carrying tons of merchandise -it's a more relaxed & intimate atmosphere where they've curated a collection with, I think, "the best of" pieces - & have items from gorgeous dresses to jeans & t-shirts & camisoles - so you can visit the boutique & leave dressed from head to toe.
