They don't offer quick service. Between this post office and the other on Wilshire Blvd near the UPS I waited on line for 40 min. Not a great location. They don't really want their job here. Too bad metrics aren't being kept, I'd fire them myself if I could, being a tax payer and all...

Ive seen more urgency at a cemetery. The lines are excruciatingly slow, the self help postage machine is broken half the time, and the main point of focus seems to be passport appointments. If you have needs involving shipping mail or parcels, I suggest delivering it yourself... the whole process will go faster

My experience here was poor. I waited for abt 40 mins for a line with 6 ppl in it because only 1 very slow person was working at the counter. Santa Monica is a major city. I know the post office is slightly obsolete, but this was pathetic. I had to go outside while in line to feed the meter.
