“Picked up some snacks for our road trip. The chickpea puffs were pretty good! We also liked the chickpea chips with sea salt. But our favorite was the 85% cacao Theo chocolate bar! Trying to make some healthier choices and these were great! Nice store! Reminds me of a Sprouts or mini Whole Foods. The staff was friendly and helpful! Great place to come to and I think the only market in the area!”

“A perfect cross between the selection of a Whole Foods and the compact space of a Trader Joe's. New Frontiers has a HUGE variety of customizable meals, from deli sandwiches to stir fry to lunch boxes to hot options and a lovely salad bar. Definitely recommend trying this out if you have dietary restrictions or just want a fresh meal prepared how you like it!”

“Great little market that carry all camping items you need but forgot at home. Price are reasonable. There was never a time we visited the store and did not find what we need for the weekend trip.Store is run by outside vendor, Rocky Mountain Recreation Company. Nearest full service supermarket is 20 miles away in Buellton. Not worth 2 hours of vacation time.Kids enjoy biking to the store by them selves buy ice cream/soda. Few time you will safe letting go to convenience store by themselves.”

“This Albertsons seems to be the only major market in the area. There are other smaller markets. We have been here a few times over the years when in town. They seem to get pretty busy during dinner time, so it is best to try to go there earlier or later to avooid the rush. Their shelves are usually well stocked and the store is clean. They are in stripp mall like most markets with a large shared lot. The spaces near the market can get full when they are busy and so you might need to walk a little in the lot. On our last visit, we wanted to get a dessert for dinner. We selected an item from their bakery that is a standard item made at all Albertsons stores. The whole stack of boxes was wet. We really wanted it, so we got one figuring that just the outside was wet. When we got back to our room and were ready for dessert we were very disappointed to find out that the contents inside the box were also wet, which runined the baked goods, plus we did not know if it was just water or some chemical. We returned the item to customer service. Informed them of the problem for the whole stack and selected another mass produced big brand item as a replacement. While the person who helped us with the return was nice enough and gave us a refund, they seemed completely unconcerned that the whole stack was like that. There was no one in line after us and we did not see them go take the other items off the shelf. When we returned the next day for a different item, it appeared that the same three boxes were still on the shelf. We do not know, but it did not seem like the person to whom we made the return took the items off the shelf. Consequently, since this seems to be the biggest market in the area and since we usually have a good experience shopping here, then we are likely to go back and would recommend them, but we would also recommend sticking to big brand name items rather than the Albertsons brand ones in this store.”

“We love it! My daughter in law thinks it's adorable with friendly people, well stocked, clean, fresh produce and great meat department with plenty of selections! It's so nice to have this market close by to rely on! Oh ya, and there's a coffee/ juice bar, a sushi bar with freshly made sushi daily and a super deli with too many selections to mention. So go see for yourself and enjoy the experience!!”

“Organized and well maintained, I shopped from here because the proce in Solvang store is so expensive like one small water bottle costs 4.25$. So consider this store is favorite one when you come to Solvang because it is not far from the town only 7 minutes.”
