“We were visiting from out of state & had more stuff to take home than we came with. We stopped by the Post Office to look at box sizes, etc., and were really pleased with the help we received. We weren't sure what we needed & the two men there were very helpful, and suggested items we might need---tape, bubble wrap, and box size--as well as helping us figure out cost comparisons for different shipping. Everyone likes to complain, it seems, so it's nice to be able to give a good review for those who do their job, do it well, and act like they actually care. It was a really pleasant experience & everything arrived home in good condition.”

Every post office needs people like them. i didnt have a passport appointment last friday, i just went to ask information since it wasnt too far from my house. Troy told me that if i have my documents with me、they will help me since i was already there. I went back home to grab everything i need and when i got back to the post office, they were very extremely helpful, they helped me with a smile. Troy explained to me everything in details. I would give them a 10 star if i can. Thankyou”

Even though it’s now out of my way, I continue to keep my PO Box here because the staff are that incredible. Every single person who works here is kind, patient, and genuinely helpful. I’ve watched them deal with some truly difficult customers, and they still manage to stay calm, friendly, and even laugh it off. That says a lot.
Today really summed it up for me. I walked in and they greeted me by name — “Michael, here’s your box.” No line, no confusion, no hassle. They knew exactly why I was there and took care of it immediately.
In a time when customer service often feels rushed or impersonal, this place feels the opposite. You’re treated like a human being, not a number. That kind of consistency and care is rare, and it deserves to be recognized.
Hands down, the best post office I’ve ever been to. If the people who work here ever wonder if it makes a difference — it absolutely does.”

I have been waiting for a suitcase from Germany for a long time, and it falls on the weekend and falls on Monday, which is the Martin Luther King holiday. According to the Internet, the package has arrived at the post office, but it will not be delivered until the next day. But because I have to take the flight back to my country the next day, I specially go. On one trip, the postmen passing by enthusiastically asked me what kind of help I needed. After looking around for no goods, they said they would pay special attention to me. I received the package more than an hour later. I just happened to see the postman appearing in the sun. I think they are all angels”
“First time visiting! Went on a busy Monday morning around 930am. I had 30 envelopes that I had to mail out for Father’s Day. I waited in a line for less than 5minutes. The postal agent took good care of each envelope printing out stamps for each one. My experience overall was good. I highly recommend this location.”
“I love the staff that is on this post office lobby. On the other hand most of the delivery workers are in another level of laziness. I was supposed to get a package yesterday it wasn’t delivered because it was to heavy (20 pounds) so I came to the post office to pick it up and they told me that it wasn’t here that it was out for delivery again today so I waited outside of my home so when I saw the mailman I ask him for my package then I asked him why didn’t he left it yesterday he replied “ yesterday was my day off my supervisor covered my route” so yeah complaining to a supervisor won’t make a difference because they are also lazy”

“The USPS post office in Poway is alway super helpful! My Post driver is the man as well always super nice, goes out of his way, and even leaves us Christmas Cards every year! Super pleased with the work they do and how they don’t just do the bare minimum and go out of their way to help out!!”
“I have been here multiple times and it's my preferred post office in the area. Sometimes there is a wait especially at the end of the day as they typically only have 1 or 2 people at the counter. But I have always had good customer service.”

“IDK man. I love this post office. I live a few blocks away and walk here at least twice a week to drop off packages or letters. Admittedly, I rarely use the customer service window - I mostly purchase stamps online or use click-n-ship to purchase shipping labels for packages. I have used the customer service window a couple of times to purchase next day delivery and to certified mail some tax documents. Homie wasnt the friendliest but he knew his shit and was efficient- personally, love a competent grouch. I am english speaking and am familiar with how to mail stuff tho, so perhaps i had a good experience because i didnt evoke any ire.
My mail carrier also does a good job. No missed deliveries, consistent informed delivery, picks up letters and packages as scheduled. Love her shes a baddie.”
“I needed help sending a package to Japan and making sure that I had the right address information entered in the correct boxes on the label and customs form since their address format is a little different than ours -- I didn't want to risk writing something wrong and have my package end up at the wrong place. The first woman I went to at the counter said she couldn't help me and turned me away, but ✨Mack✨ stepped in to save the day. He is from Japan and was very knowledgeable in helping me to decode the address and make sure I had everything correct. I was very nervous and messed up a few times but he was very patient with me. He is a treasure; I wish my local post office had someone as helpful and patient as him!

“5 stars for Ricardo and his awesome customer service. Ricardo was polite, professional, and went out of his way to get my package delivered after I had a very frustrating “missed delivery” process days prior. It is a bummer that the open hours are so short, but maybe they wouldn’t have to be open for such short of times if more people like Ricardo worked there! Hah!”

Plenty of parking onsite.
This location also has one of those after hours large package drop off bins which I appreciate, especially if I need to drop something off on a Sunday. But if it does get full, it will get jammed. Only happens once in awhile.”
