“Prepare yourself, this course is tough, probably one of the toughest in San Diego county. Fairways and green are in good shape, and staff is friendly. Great course with great views and lots of challenges. There are some patchy spots if you mis-hit off the fairway, but overall for the price point of around $40-$50 on a weekday, the course is hard to beat for the thrills it brings. Highly recommend, go and try it out!”

The Van Ommering family and staff have made this a great place for kids to be kids (and adults, too!). All senses are engaged and there is so much to do that boredom is non-existent. What I love is that Oma’s provides a place for kids to experience and experiment. The learning is all very well blended into play based activities. Get your family to Oma’s. You will not regret it. Oh, stop by the cafe… mini donuts were the bomb!”
“Very Very nice people they come and greet you talk to you and are very welcome for you to come in. The bartenders are very nice and they keep an eye on your glass or bottle and if you have a sip left are you ready for another one and they have lots of dancing so kick up your boots and check it out.”

Carlo initially assisted us with putting the agreement together to cover all of our needs. He was extremely helpful & customized the “package” to ensure we got what we wanted.
Daniela & Tony were unbelievably attentive & guided us through the rest of the details. The entire event was flawless & my guests were very impressed! Most importantly my family & I didn’t have to worry about anything but enjoying the night!

“Love the place. They offer ice skating lessons for both kids and adults. After our first visit, I signed my son up for a class, 12 lessons and 12 guest passes for $288. I have recommended the class to several friends. They all signed up immediately. My son and I very much look forward to more skating fun.”

“This is a wonderful lodge. I grew up in this neighborhood and love it here. The lodge has a very nice dining area and excellent meeting area. The bathrooms are great also. There is parking but if already taken the neighborhood is a great one to go hunt down street parking in.”

“I stayed here last week and really enjoyed the peaceful, nature filled atmosphere. It's not a luxury resort, but for the price, it offers great value.The room was clean, and cozy. However, the bed was a bit creaky, it made noticeable noise whenever I turned or shifted during the night, which affected my sleep a little.The staffs were warm and helpful, always ready to assist. Beautiful, green surroundings made for a relaxing stay. The location is convenient, with restaurants and shops nearby. Overall, it’s a charming place to stay if you're looking for a quiet retreat. I hope the bed issue can be improved because I’d love to return!”

“I attended a fundraiser for Pregnancy Care Center. The venue was excellent. They had security, outside non-alcoholic drinks with spinach-stuffed hor d'Oeuvres while the 500 guests were arriving. Once the seating began it was very orderly! The tables were beautiful and the chairs were comfortable. The food was one of the highlights of the night. There was a choice of Chicken or Eggplant as main entrée, served along with mashed potatoes, yellow rice and a mixture of green & yellow zucchini. There was white cake with white creamy frosting and berries for dessert! Dinner was also served with rolls, tea, water, and coffee! If you need a place to hold an event, try this lovely place first! ?”

“The best of the best! Played Pine Glen (9 hole par 3 course) and was stunned by the condition of both the course and entire facility. The course only costs $20 (walking), which is a steal! Greens and fairways are in some of the best condition I've seen around the county. The 9 hole course is an easy walk with some interesting holes to offer. Bathrooms are readily available on the course as well.
Driving range is the largest and nicest I've seen, and the entire area around the pro shop has a lot to offer. A 19th hole restaurant, plus several practice putting greens and chipping greens. It's a very state of the art golf experience.
Really impressed and will return to play the 18 hole courses soon!”
“We had our daughter's wedding at this venue, and it was perfect. If you are looking to have something with around 100 people I definitely recommend. Owners were very easy to work with. Having the kitchen separate from the event room was a plus. I will be coming back next time I have an event.”

“I loved my visit to the hotel because of Liridona. she is the top reason I would stay here. she was working many hours and was very patient with me and kind. Its hard to find a kind and patient person that feels genuine. Marriot is lucky to have you. it seems she is there 24 hours and gives all her precious time to make sure guests are treated to the best standard. the hotel is an oasis in the middle of El cajon. it is a taste of luxury in the hot mess of the city. Liridona is the angel that makes El cajon a better place and the experience at Marriot heavenly.”
