“I’ve been extremely pleased with my experience with Tapa Jaguar and especially with Keith. Could not be happier with my experience. (Please read as this is an honest detailed review of my experience)
Before finding them, I had a streak of bad luck with my Land Rover. My Discovery 5 had coolant pipe failure. Long story short I was in need of an engine replacement. We love our Discovery very much and just didn’t have the heart to part ways with it just yet. After research I found Tapa Jaguar on the web. I feel blessed that I did.
After many conversations with Keith and careful consideration we decided to have Tapa Jaguar bring our vehicle back to life.
Keith was patient, honest, forth coming and answered all the questions I had and did not hold anything back.
After shipping the Discovery down to Southern California Keith had her running in no time. This was very exciting and a long time coming for us.
During the engine replacement he did an extensive inspection on my vehicle. During the time before I brought my car to Tapa, I had brought my vehicle to Land River Livermore to see if they could fix my car after it seized. (Was unaware of the car hydro locking). They quoted me 2k for a new starter because they said we burned it out trying to start the motor so many times after it seized in order to perform compression check. I declined thank goodness because I had communicated to keith about putting a new starter in. He said he would check it himself before we proceeded to purchase one. After careful inspection the starter was good after all. He saved me from an expensive fix that would have been a total waste of money. Also he let me know that my battery wasn’t holding a charge and troubleshot the problem to a mega fuse. (Probably caused by Land Rover dealer). Drove a few hours to find a part and replaced it for free. What a guy!
Also had a piece missing from my fan shroud that the dealer left out. He replaced that for me as well.
One thing I was adamant about was upgrading the coolant system to aluminum. No problem here, that is a standard at Tapa.
After receiving the vehicle back it drives smooth and feels as it did when it was brand new.
I feel good moving forward with this car because I know Keith has open line of communication and I know he will continue to support me with any comments , questions, or concerns I may have moving forward.
I can’t recommend Keith and Tapa Jaguar enough. If you want honest work, expert knowledge, and great customer service, this is the place to go. I could not recommend them more. Deal in confidence!”

I’ve been a loyal customer for years. The place is immaculate and the work they do is fair and honest. Pam is the owner and Sam runs the shop. Today I met Matthew who was the excellent front desk person. The cleanest bathrooms and most comfortable waiting area with cozy couches, WiFi, cold drinks and coffee.”

“They’re website is comprehensive and easy to use! I made my appointments online with ease! 2 years ago I went to Rick and he fixed a small crack in my windshield with a fill! They were so kind to me, and the fill Looked brand new, and saved me HUNDREDS of dollars in glass replacement and insurance hassle! You can’t even see it! I went back today because I was worried I had another crack or that the old one had been re-cracked, because I’d been seeing a small glint in the car. Rick inspected it for me, and told me the fill was still holding and wouldn’t fail! He even told me what signs to look for should it fail and told me to call him whenever I was nervous about it. He didn’t charge me for the consult, and my peace of mind, which was incredibly kind of him since I had scheduled an appointment! He’s saved me time, money and worry! This family owned auto glass business stands by their work because it’s Good Work, by honest people! Highly recommend for all auto glass needs! They’ll tell it like it is and deliver what they promise every time!”

“My family has been using R&S Automotive since around 1989 and always had outstanding service and repairs! Everyone from the owner Eddie to Mario has always provided us with total quality service for our VW Turbo Beetle, Honda Ridgeline Sport 4x4, Firebird, Toyota trucks and Camrys, Acura etc. This afternoon a service indicator light activated on my 2013 Honda Ridgeline and I stopped by to see if they had time to do a diagnostic and quickly was told by Mario it was not serious, merely time to replace the oil, filters and check all the fluids! Mario has worked there for many years and has always given me honest estimates and timely service! I know they are always busy and prefer an appointment but have always accommodated me for an emergency. They have earned our trust and reputation for quality service and repairs!”

“I'm so thankful to have found Grand American Tire. I was driving from Bakersfield to Orange County, hit a pothole on the 5 and got a tear in one of my front run-flat tires. I could have had a sidewall blowout on the freeway at any point. I called two BMW dealerships whose service centers were open. One BMW service department wouldn't accept walk-in's for service and the other (BMW Sherman Oaks) was accepting walk-in's but told me upfront they wouldn't honor my tire & wheel protection warranty. Why? Because it was a Saturday (and they wouldn't make any money off of it). Thankfully I found Grand American Tire. They were busy but still took me as a walk-in, quickly retrieved a new run-flat tire from their local warehouse before the warehouse closed at 2pm and had my car ready to go in 1 hour. If I was going to pay out of pocket, I'm happy to give my money to the efficient and hard-working team at Grand American Tire. What could have ruined my day only turned out to be a 1 hour wait. You guys take pride in your work and I appreciate you!”

Our ’41 (Sweet November) had bounced between a couple of shops, with promises that never panned out and issues that were never truly fixed. It wasn’t until we took the ‘41 to Chubby’s that things changed. He found the real problems, fixed them correctly, and did it without trying to nickel-and-dime us.
Lately there’s been a rise in social media posts about shops keeping cars for months or years, or constantly asking for more money in pieces. That was NOT the case here. “We were driving down from the Bay Area to LA when a tire started leaking due to a puncture from a metal sliver. We got off the freeway and this was the closest tire shop we found. They took the tire off and properly patched the tire and charged us the grand whopping sum of $25. It was a Friday afternoon after 5pm, and we were obviously a family in distress. They could have charged us pretty much any amount and we would have had no choice but to pay it. But instead they were a decent, upstanding, honest business and did not take advantage of our situation.”

“I've been bringing my vehicles here since 2018, when I moved back to SoCal and Santa Clarita. I don't take them anywhere else. The few issues I have had with this location were small and easily rectified once I brought them up. Anyone who asks I always recommend these guys and always will. The bad reviews on here seem to be with people who think this is a quick service place (like for an oil change and such). Anyone can do an oil change, these guys are mechanics, so bring a little patience and they will impress you.”
