“I was looking for an established vet for our little boston terrier, Dumpling. VIP checked all of the boxes and we scheduled a visit. We met with Dr. Roberts and she was absolutely wonderful. My dog got excited when she entered the exam room and Dr Roberts sat on the floor with Dumpling so they can get to know each other. She examined Dumpling for allergy issues and gave us a prescription. The whole staff was so sweet and accommodating! We just took Dumpling back to VIP yesterday to get spayed and met with Dr. Cisneros. He was very nice and did his pre-surgery exam on Dumpling and took her to the back. The staff reassured that they would call me when the surgery was completed and they did! Very professional, very compassionate, clean office and the staff is wonderful!! Couldn't ask for any better!!”

1. The staff is very friendly. Luis (Louise) is very knowledgeable about pet products and there's something that he doesn't know, he'll make sure to find the right resource for you.
2. They carry a whole variety of pet items - little fun trinkets and a variety of pet foods... their items cost less compared to other pet stores in SCV.
3. If they don't carry the product you need, they will order it for you and they will have it the next day.
4. Their customer service is great!”

“So grateful for Dr. Vanessa and her team. I have an elderly cat, who was really sick. I had difficulty finding answers as to what was happening with his health. I had gone to two vets before only to receive no answers, no medication, but also huge bills.
Dr. Vanessa was not only affordable, but gave me the right medications and diet changes that my cat has responded great. I really thought my cat had reached the end of his life, but I am happy to report he is now doing great. I am so grateful for finding a reliable vet that I am recommending them to everyone.
I had a dog that got very sick in the past. I took him to three vets only to end up bankrupt with a dead dog and no answers. I have grown a huge distrust for vets. I am glad that I called around trying to find a better solution for my cat. He is looking so much better now.”

“I’ve read the reviews, good and bad, but I honestly have to say that the Doctor and staff have been kind and caring to my two doggies. Both are Seniors and have their little quirks and they have always been accommodating. They let me go in the back with them and stay next to my senior girl who has really bad arthritis. They are patient with her and with me as well, because usually I’m a nervous wreck. They are really good to us. We always make an appointment towards the end of the day and have had no trouble. They will continue to be the vet for Bella and Layla. I’m super picky about where I bring my dogs and baby them because they are my kids, and If I ever see anything inappropriate I will absolutely change vets, but I highly doubt that will ever happen. Thank you Doctor & staff for all your help and love for Bella and Layla!!”
“This has been my family vet for over ten years. The past three times I have called this clinic they were able to get me in same day. I've seen all three doctors in the past and today was one of our best experiences. I called this morning and explained that my dog was serious injured and hurt. They were able to make an appointment for us to come later in the day. We got there and the front desk staff were super helpful with getting background info on my pup. We saw Dr. H today for the first time. He was so gentle and kind with our scared pup. He was able to evaluate her and come up with a treatment plan to get her to start feeling better. He explained everything he was doing during our exam and was clear. My pup is now at home and resting on her way to recovery thanks to Dr. H.”

“I have been going to The Cat Doctor and Friends for many many years. Dr. Linger is a fantastic vet and gave compassionate thoughtful and caring counsel for me and my elderly cats. She was there for me and texted me very quickly when I was in dire need of a response. She also was there for me when I had to make the very hard decision to say goodbye to my 17-year-old cat. Because of the The Cat Doctor my kitty got a few extra comfortable quality years with me. The front desk staff are all helpful and kind. They focus on cats alone which is also great, and always the quality of life of the kitty comes first with stellar veterinary expertise and advice. It’s also really nice that they have their own hospital care available if you need it! If you have cats in your home and your heart, please seek out the care of The Cat Doctor and Friends.”
“Have to be fair! Northridge Vet actually did send all paperwork to the insurance company! They (Embrace Pet Insurance) sat on the claim and then held it up for weeks! Results, sorry, we don't cover one cent of $4,500.00 surgery bill!! Beware of Embrace Insurance! They will happily process the $6 dollar claims and hold up the others! Do not Embrace them if you love you pet! Looking for another pet insurance.”

“Today was my pup's first visit to Dr. Johnson to address a digestive issue which has stumped my usual vet for months.
On-site parking was plentiful. I was immediately impressed with the staff -- they took the time to ask a lot of questions about the reason for our visit and what had been going on with the dog. They really listened and offered a lot of valuable information before we even saw Dr. Johnson.
Dr Johnson took us exactly on time and was a breath of fresh air. She seemed incredibly knowledgeable, which have me a lot of confidence. Also, I never felt rushed. She took plenty of time to listen to the entire history and talk through what seems to be a very sensible and practical treatment plan.
These days, most vets (not to mention doctors) make you feel like just another number on their endless conveyor belt. That was definitely not my experience with Dr. Johnson and the staff. They listened carefully, made me feel heard and took the time to make sure I understood everything they said. In my opinion, that is a level of professionalism and care very rarely seen these days!”
