“My wife and I stayed in the "Lilac Room" at the Gables Inn for two nights last week, and we really enjoyed our time there. The room was very comfortable and had a nice view of the bay, San Francisco, Alcatraz Island and the SF-Oakland Bay Bridge. The staff were very friendly and helpful with suggestions on restaurants, things to see, history of the inn, etc. A very short walk to the downtown and waterfront, and parking was quite convenient. If the small lot at the lobby of the inn happened to be full, there were several alternatives for parking close by which also honored the inn's parking pass. The next time we're in the area, we'll definitely plan on staying there again!”

“I've stayed at the Hotel Sausalito both pre - and post pandemic. The hotel is in a great location and the parking is super easy.The rooms are quite old and without any modern conveniences, but the process reflects that, and it's usually the least expensive place in Sausalito. If you just want a good clean and comfortable room in a great location, this is a good choice.Walkability: The hotel is directly next to the ferry to San Francisco which makes it a great choice if your visiting San Francisco and want a comfortable place that is safe and easy to walk around in the morning and at night.”

“This is probably the best hotel room I've stayed at BY FAR. Views were stunning. Restaurant was AMAZING. The room was luxurious and huge. I canny wait to go back and the fireplace in the room was icing on the cake.”
“The views of the bay are wonderful and watching the pelicans dive bomb into the ocean is quite enjoyable. The breakfast is fresh and the employees are very helpful. I have enjoyed my stay thoroughly here and will come back again.”
