I called and spoke with Oliver, the manager, who was extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and patient. He guided me step by step through the process of securing a storage space and made everything simple and easy to understand.
When I arrived in person, he was very welcoming and ensured everything was handled smoothly from start to finish.
Overall, the experience was smooth, efficient, and completely stress-free. I would highly recommend this storage space for the outstanding level of service and care provided!!”
“Packers and movers were genuinely great. Claims process was pretty cumbersome though. There was a dining table damaged. I had the basic tier of coverage ($1 per pound) and could max get like $50 for it, which was enough for me to cover the repair.
But there is no web form for submitting claims. You have to call them with all this paperwork and the office closes at 1:30pm. Ended up giving up, as it wasn't worth my time. Wish they had a more straightforward process for minor claims.
Edit: the company reached out and proactively gave me a partial refund for this issue. Really appreciate their care and would book with them again”
“The customer service at this location is 10/10. I just had come from a terrible storage company that I was told not to use on the property from someone else. The Richmond extra space storage made me feel safe, comfortable, and allowed time for any questions. The people who own it are beyond kind. I would highly recommend this storage unit to others.”

They even helped me with donating some items I couldn't move myself but didn't want to take with me to the new place. I really appreciate that they disassemble and assemble larger furniture pieces.”
