“Was visiting my brother in Long Beach and he needed some items here. It was my 1st time in a H.F. store. It was clean and had good displays of products along w visible prices. I had a good time just looking around and seeing what they carried. I bought a lightning USB C charging cord. Prices were reasonable and competitively priced. Parking lot did feel small. But the cashiers were attentive & friendly. Will use again.”
“I visited the store today looking for an axle nut for a 30-year-old English bicycle. I never in a million years thought they would have the right size, but I was able to get two axle nuts that fit for a dollar each.”
“Huge shout out to this store that is traditionally a place you can get legit help. They're mellow when you're on site and will match up screws and threadings.
Today we had an issue and Glen, a staffer, was referred to us by other staff. He came to the phone and helped us troubleshoot our issue and even was willing to receive a photograph of what we were running into so he wasn't winging an answer.
This is nothing short of remarkable for folks typically BS answers rather than help neighbors and work with customers in good faith.
I'll drive out of my way to see if I can buy from them first.”
“We have shopped here for YEARS. Everyone has ALWAYS been so helpful. We recently visited with our son, who has autism, and BRANDON was particularly helpful, receptive, and kind. This is a perfect example of why we shop at our local neighborhood store (as opposed to a big chain store [HD for example]). Brandon made our day with his generosity , friendliness, and exceptional customer service skills. I left the store with tears of happiness in my eyes!

“Flex tube for water fountains and above ground pools is on the second shelf need a latter to access it... always find myself driving a bit farther to lowes even though I always go to home detpo first cause it's closer. Lowes had it accessible even with cutters on the shelf so you didn't have to ask for help..”

“I must say I am very pleased with the customer service in this store. I arrived to purchase a chest freezer and had a product description in hand of a freezer that was in stock, but not quite the size I needed.
The gentleman that helped me in the appliance section actually found me the perfect size chest freezer and the bonus was that it was actually much cheaper than the original freezer I had been looking at.
I am highly satisfied with my purchase as well as my experience within the store. I only wish I had caught the gentleman's name, so I could give him the credit he deserves.”
