“We were traveling to SoCal from NorCal and we noticed oil leak under our car. We called dealers in the area as our car was fairly new, but due to Thanksgiving weekend no was able to look at our car. And we had to travel back 4 hrs + on Friday.
Thanks to Doctor J and Steve, not only they said YES to look at the problem, he said he will try his best to solve it.
Steve updated me with problem and did his best to plug the oil leak that we can come back to NorCal.

“So I went to experTech knowing that my 2007 Tahoe had some issues. After they did their inspection come to find out it was a lot worse that I thought. I ended up paying a lil over $9,000 for everything but with the warranty’s and the quality of work that they did … it was worth it. The one thing that really amazed me was how fast everything was done. I will also like to mention the quote on the price they gave me was what I ended up paying they are very professional and I appreciate them.”

“The driver's side window on my disabled brother's van got stuck open shortly before a holiday weekend rainstorm. I feared the van could be flooded or thieves would break into and/or steal the van if I didn't get it repaired ASAP. I called FnP only because Google Maps showed that they were close to me. When I described the problem, Francisco was able to diagnose it and give me a very reasonable estimate over the phone. After I brought in the van, he dropped me off at home and finished the job that same day! I was very impressed by his expertise, professionalism, customer service, and friendliness. He will be my go-to mechanic from now on!”

“Let me start by saying I love HB Auto & AC. Since I no longer have Ron at VW Specialties, it took me a long time to finally find a mechanic I felt safe with, and HB Auto & AC is it. I did not care that I was having my VW towed from Riverside to HB, they're worth it. The first visit 08/2025 they addressed multiple issues, that the VW dealership quoted me an insane amount to repair, and they did it all for less than the cost of one of the repairs at the dealership. And they did a beautiful job. She ran beautifully, and when I had to have my car towed in for what I thought was the same problem the previous visit, and I figured it was under warranty she still was running beautifully... However it wasn't the same problem. They had to break the news to me that my engine was shot. The head gasket blew and there was oil everywhere. There was coolant in the oil, oil in the coolant, it was a mess. They got me a very good deal on a new engine but I opted to get a new car. They didn't rush or pressure me to get the car towed from their lot, and I didn't wait. Even with their kindness, and understanding they still have a business to run and that would have been unfair to them and selfish on my end to leave her there longer than I already had, but it's nice to know if I didn't have an option right away, they would have worked with me.
I can't say enough kind things about them.
I'm staying in the VW family, and when the time comes, I will be coming back to HB Auto & AC. Thank you for giving me peace of mind. Sorry for the novel but I felt you deserved to know. ❤😊”
“I took my F150 Lariat in. I had it towed from another mechanic shop. When I called, I talked to Edward. He didn't even ask me to come in. After a short conversation about the truck he immediately said that probably isn't the issue but let us get don't eyrs on it and get the diagnostic done and go from there. He immediately gave me a good feeling about taking my truck here. The first mechanic was unable to get my truck to start. He told me the entire electrical module on the truck needed to be rewired or replaced. Orozco's quickly diagnosed the problem and figured out the previous owners of the truck had hooked up some after market accessories and wired them incorrectly and if a certain fuse blew it also blew the main start run fuse. Instead of being dishonest and charging me thousands of dollars they fixed the wiring for me, changed the fuses and sent me home with no additional fees other than the diagnostic. Edward was fantastic to deal with. He was extremely professional and easy to communicate with. I can't praise him or the shop enough. I'm just glad that there are still honest shops out there. I would ?% recommend this place.”

“They seem fair and competent. I saved some money vs the dealer. Didn’t try to upsell me. Told me what I could wait on and what was high priority. I dealt with Tim. Had me in and out in 1/2 day for a number of regular maintenance items. He also returned both of my phone calls both before and after I brought the car in. Nice to see given the crappy service you get most other places these days. They are supposed to report to carfax and hopefully that is actually the case. It is one main reason I went there but Tim wasn’t 100% sure. I figure that may be important for resale. Fingers crossed but I don’t think I can look it up without paying for a report.”

“My service engine light soon was on and my car had a weird idle I took it in here and Lee told me what the problem was and how I would save a lot of money just going to AutoZone and replacing the part myself didn't even charge me for the diagnosis and in the end I only have to pay $150 at AutoZone and 5 minutes of my own time to fix it. If ever have car problems again I'm definitely coming back here!”
“They were cool and all but they can be a bit expensive. And the reason I gave them 4 stars was because they didn't do what I asked. And that was to check out my whole car and inspect it. I needed them to make sure that there wasn't anything else I needed to worry about. I know I was there solely to get my brakes fixed. But as much as they try and charge you the least they can do is to at least warn me of all fluid levels that are needed in my car. But no they didn't do that! In fact they didn't warn me about any other problems that I may have with my car. Nope they just fixed my brakes and sent me on my way. Until I find out later by someone else that I have no power steering fluid. And I have no motor oil in my car. I mean I'm a girl I don't know these things which is why whenever I take my car in for one problem I ask them if they could check all the stuff I may need more of. But they refrained from doing that! I guess nobody wants to go above and beyond anymore smh.”

“I had such a great experience here! Jordan helped me and represents this business well. A couple things really stood out to me. They honor their quotes, they will pay for an Uber to take you home and back vs. having to wait for your vehicle, and they overall just make getting an oil change a pleasant experience!
While I was waiting, another customer came in to bring the staff a box of treats to thank them for helping her out. This says SO MUCH about a tire/auto shop.

“It's difficult to go anywhere and get a fair deal, especially when it comes to Automotive repair. Everyone wants to high gross you no matter what you are having done. I just wanted an oil change but the first half a dozen places I went wouldn't even do it because it's a high end vehicle but these guys went out of their way to do it and gave me a great price. I would send anyone who needed anything done, to the Tire Depot. Just the transparency is worth paying more but I ended up saving $100.00 which was a refreshing change!”

“Huge 5 stars for your team working there this morning .
Arrived at 7 am… had a bolt in my tire. The bolt was removed and the tire plugged and I was back on the road again just minutes later !!!!
Super efficient and both guys there were extremely friendly !!
