“Yes, they do close for lunch from 12:30-1:30 and yes, that should be posted on this page in big block letters! People should be aware that this is a small local branch in Old Town, so yes, there is typically only one person at the counter (occasionally a worker in back). There’s a big main branch less than two miles up Seal Beach Blvd if you’re worried about lines during the holidays (or you’re like, driving). Otherwise for those of us who are just walking over to mail a package, access a box, or send something certified mail, this place is friendly, helpful, quick, and super convenient.”

It's a one person office, very small, but offers most normal services the majority of residents would normally use. Location prohibits the general public to use this post office, only available to residents inside of Leisure World Seal Beach California”

Yes, if you show up unprepared, they won’t have a lot of patience for you. Understandably so! I’ve seen people show up with packages untaped and with no address. Like come on. Get it together.
Every time I come in with my package and shipping label ready, they are so fast and so kind. In and out under 30 seconds.

Placed within a gated community. Very low volume. I imagine it’s a hassle to go to unless you actually live here. There are probably many more convenient areas nearby. Great little office for the locals.”
