“Have been going to Andre since I first moved to Sherman Oaks in 2017, he has always done a great job on my 2014 Mazda 2. This last time I had had a check engine light that would go on and off intermittently, and I should've gotten it checked out but didn't, as a previous car I'd had had a CEL that was always on but didn't affect performance, chalking it up to a computer issue... I know, dumb... this most recent CEL on my Mazda 2 had been going on for about a year or so, until finally one day my engine completely stalled as I was out driving. Luckily I was only 4 miles away, and had my car towed to Andre's. He kept it for about 4 days or so and ran diagnostics~ had an idea about what could've been the problem but wasn't entirely sure, so he fixed/ replaced some things (im not car savvy), hoping for the best. Turned out whatever he fixed took care of the problem, and my car has been running great since then! It wasn't cheap, but Andre's skills and talents deserve to be paid appropriately. He's also the nicest guy. I was really glad I brought it in to him to fix, and will continue to do so.”

It seems to have been a very happy accident. Jose Gomora is an extremely fair, honest and decent guy. The day after he completed extensive repairs on our minivan there was a problem with the alternator and the battery went dead. He waited in his shop long past closing for the tow truck to drop the van off and then called me this morning to tell me that, although he can't imagine how his repairs caused the problem, he was going to pay for a new alternator. That was the right thing to do but it feels so rare that people do the right thing without an argument. Time will tell if the workmanship holds up but, even with the issue that arose after the repair, I'm still very impressed by this shop. Honest, fair, decent people.”
