“I love UCSCU!! My husband has been a member since the early 90s. I joined his accounts when we got married. Our kids joined as they got old enough to need their own accounts. Our youngest got a great rate on a car loan and it was super easy. We always get excellent service and we are treated very well whenever we come in. Several times I have called with a question or an issue and the staff helps me without ever treating me like an inconvenience. I love the way online services have grown over the years. I appreciate being able to zelle my rent payment and receive zelle transfers from my kids for the shared phone plan. Being a non employee, I will always miss visiting the actual Universal branch (employees only now) but Burbank has never let me down and I understand this change came from the company and not the credit union. I think this may be the first time I’ve ever written a review for someone who actually worked in the Collections Department and was actively perusing me…
I’m fairly certain it will be the only one.
I never met an individual with more understanding and integrity than Dawn.
When I fell behind on the payments on my motorcycle, she helped me find the solution without berating, without insulting, and without condescending. In a way she even became a bit of a surrogate mother, trying to guide me on how to get out of the hole, I’d managed to dig myself into.
With patience and guidance, she was able to help me resolve this problem and get everything back on track.
I’ve banked with UMe for over 20 years, and I’m not exactly “the easiest customer” to deal with. Truth be told, I can be a bit of an asshole. But Dawn knew how to handle it/me.
She’s a rare breed.
Dawn Smith is a true credit to this organization. I’m still to this day, not entirely sure who the president of this particular bank is, but whoever is in charge… you need to give this woman a raise. I’m absolutely certain she has earned it!

“Karla helped me after I was a victim of a debit card scam. I tried to buy something online and became flooded with unauthorized purchases. After trying unsuccessfully to handle it on my own I came to Porter Ranch Logix. Karla listened to me, filed a long report on my behalf, and helped me with a new card. Big lesson learned. Logix also credited me with the money that was taken from me. Thank you for taking so much time and being so patient Karla! From now on I will only enter my card on websites I trust, and credit only. If the price is too good to be true, it is! Now I have to adjust any auto payments to my debit. I will be more careful from now on.”

“Well, Vicky is a goddess. She pulled strings like no one else at year end to provide us with a very time sensitive auto loan check. Forgot to mention, we arrived with only 5 min before closing so she could have threw us out with no issue, but she didn't, she took the loan on herself and powered through a lengthy process in under 40 mins to get us the check.
