“I use this Post Office most often and staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. They are willing to help you mail your package to benefit you w/ arrival time and give options w/ pricing. They never rush you and seem to love their jobs. The place is always clean and love you can just walk to the plastic curtain and drop off a package that doesn't need any postage; just drop and go. We will continue to use the USPS location.”

“Excellent Service at Westwood USPS
I am absolutely amazed by the service at the United States Postal Service in Westwood. Every single letter I send from this location reaches its recipient without any issues. In the past, my mail would often get lost when sent from other branches, but here everything works flawlessly!
The staff are wonderful — always friendly, knowledgeable, and ready to answer any questions. They work quickly and accurately, and they know exactly when to suggest additional services. Everything here is just perfect. Thank you!”
“OMG the 4930 Balboa Blvd, Encino, CA 91316 post office is so amazing it's much better compared to the damn Winnetka USPS office around the corner of my home were I'm still resolving an issue with a package I assume they lost and is stuck in pre shipment after mom dropped it off for me the staff is friendly and amazing and I love the place so clean and tidy if you live near by just do it go to that office drive the extra mile for great service don't get disappointed by stupid customer service the post office I mention above my review is worth it a great place”
“When ever I went here to ship a package ? I would make the line, not super long but there's a line. One day I was in the line and one of the workers was asking if anyone had a QR code and I did and he told me that I didn't had to wait in the line, that I can do it myself on the self help machines. He showed me how to use it and now every time I go I just scan my QR code and the label prints out I Put it on my package and all done.”
“If I could give 15 our of 5 stars I would: for TUAN! I was there to mail a small package priority. The standard priority boxes weren't the right size, so Tuan customized a larger box to fit my item. He then put it in a priority envelope that was actually slightly cheaper than the box price-- hooked me up. I was having a rough day (tears leaking out despite my best efforts) and though he never said a word about it, he showed me tremendous care, compassion, and gentleness in a moment where I needed it most. He also xeroxed the address info I had on the original box and then just taped it on the new packaging, so I wouldn't have to step aside to rewrite it all. It's like he knew that would be a lot for me in that moment. He not only showed excellent customer service, but incredible humanity-- such a rare quality in this world. Tuan is an stellar human being and deserves all the praise!!! Oh, also, my priority package got from Burbank to Jersey in A DAY AND A HALF!! So Tuan also worked some magic to get my package in the fast lane. <3”

“I came here for the first time to submit my passport application and I actually got the wrong dates but the right time for my appointment. I didn’t realize this until after I got there. This really nice black woman helped me out and she was able to squeeze me in and I cannot thank her enough for doing that for me. Which again was my a fault of my own for coming in on the wrong date. It was a super fast process it took less than 10 mins since I already came prepared with everything ready. I didn’t catch her name but I wanted to write this review to let her know that her kindness did not go unnoticed <3”

“I took my friend who has some difficulty due to a previous stroke. She had concerns about her mail box security at her home address and we went to inquire about a PO Box.
Sterling was so accommodating and made the process easy for her to understand as she gets confused easily and sometimes needs a little more time to process information. He explained everything including the process when ordering/receiving boxes or packages from Amz, Fedx, UPS, as they do not deliver to PO box. Very important to know.
Sterling was patient and reassuring. We both left knowing we made the right choice and Sterling had her back….he truly did.

“US Post Office on Rinaldi is a convenient neighborhood post office for the Porter Ranch area. Located in the shopping center near Rinaldi and Tampa, it’s easy to access and parking is usually very convenient.
Since the Amazon Fresh in the plaza closed, there are now many more available parking spaces, which makes visiting even easier.
The shopping center also has a variety of restaurants nearby, including sushi, Korean food, and pizza, so it’s easy to run errands and grab a meal at the same time.”
“All USPS locations have gone down hill, in my experience, since DeJoy took over. And Steiner doesn’t seem much better — but, this is one of the better locations of all the bad options in this part of LA. I like it better than the one near Fairfax & Santa Monica, as well as the one over on Wilcox. Though this one can be short staffed and the drop off box for packages often sticks, the employees that are here seem nicer than average and the wait often seems shorter. I’ve noticed, too, that packages dropped off here seem to enter the tracking system before packages dropped off at any other nearby USPS branch! Which is important to me.”

“I stopped by this USPS office to drop of an Amazon return. I been to the plaza this USPS office is in so many times but never knew there was a USPS here. I found parking easily since this office is in a plaza with many parking spots. When I walked inside the post office, there was no one in line so I was able to walk up and hand my package since everything was paid for already. I got my receipt and left, it was a simple and easy process.”

“I was dealing with a frustrating situation involving a missing parcel that had been stuck in transit with no updates for days. After getting nowhere online, I came into the branch hoping for some clarity—and that’s when I met Victor, the branch manager.
Victor was not only professional but genuinely helpful and patient. He took the time to listen, pulled up the tracking information, and made several calls on my behalf to locate the package. Thanks to his persistence and clear communication, we were able to track it down and get it moving again.
It’s rare these days to find someone who truly cares and follows through. Victor turned a stressful experience into a positive one. Huge thanks to him and the team at this location—your help made all the difference!”

“I know tons of post offices around LA are really bad with trash workers, but took a chance coming here and both times I've been here (Tuesday and Thursday morning) the lady working the shift has been nice helpful to me and others in front of me and fast service. Going to keep going a bit out of my way to ship my packages here.”
“Only 4 stars because of the long wait ( 1hr outside, about 2 inside just waiting) but know that I did not have an appointment. Staff was extremely knowledgeable, helpful AND friendly! (Though tired, they're dealing with a lot).
1. Make sure your documents are COMPLETELY filled out BEFORE coming. If not I guess do it in line outside but bring a clipboard or something to write on. They do have a LIMITED supply of paper applications and they run out so that's why they recommend coming with your own.
2. Be prepared to wait. Bring water, headphones, a portable charger for your phone, a book, playing cards, whatever. You're gonna have to kill some time. There is AC inside and god bless them a fan (and it's hot) but there's an outside area with tables should you brave the heat (some of them have umbrellas so it's not too bad). One lady brought lunch with her. Queen.
3. Be prepared to STAND too. There aren't enough chairs. Wear comfortable shoes.
4. There are NO public bathrooms.
5. There are vending machines that are cash/coin only. Not sure if it's expensive but at least those are an option.
6. There was a fruit vendor near here and that fruit looked glorious in this heat so BRING CASH and support your local vendor.
All in all, my partners appointment only took him like 5 mins lol. Other people's seem to take way longer.”
“I honestly can’t say enough good things about this USPS location. I’ve been here multiple times for different services, and every visit has been consistently excellent.
The employees are incredibly kind, patient, and thorough. They explain everything clearly and make sure nothing is missed. You can really tell they care about doing their job well.

“This is my second time stopping by. The first one was not good at all. Probably it is because it's almost 5pm and they're closing soon. The male postal worker must be tired and he is not happy to answer inquiries. The second time, I came Friday afternoon. There was a line but it went fast. This lady named Sandra helped me to make the transaction easy. She explained to me in detail the differences regarding the amount of each mailing options. With that, it helped me a lot to decide. I agree with a fellow Yelper - Sandra has been a great. Recommended.”

After trying 2 other places I found POST MASTERS!!! Hector and Ken were both so HELPFUL , PROFESSIONAL & KIND!!!!!! They took care of me, reboxed my package, gave me a reasonable shipping rate and the box is on it's way to my sweet Mom!!!
