“Love this place! The owners and Erica all wanted to know our names and made sure we felt at home. We were meeting friends (this was their choice place) and I'm so glad we were introduced to this hidden gem in Simi! I was a little worried when I had read reviews that we might not be a fit (we only drink red wine). They have fabulous reds!! Their red cab is phenomenal!!! Our friends did the flights...which is great....but we already know we only like reds...so went right to their Napa red. I wish we had tried their Pinot Noir....but it gives us a reason to return :) Sunday...live music...the guy was great...and the Lion game was also playing...really trying to please everyone!”

“On my way to a gettogether at a friends house, I wanted to not come empty handed. Along my route I decided to stop by Sunflower for some supplies. With expectations low, I thought I'd walk out with some basics. To my surprise, there was quite a wide selection of local brews in the refrigerator section! Good selection from Tarantula Hill, Institution, etc. along with well known out of state breweries. IPAs galore! Did I mention that Sunflower has a drive-thru window? I definitely plan to fold Sunflower into my rotation moving forward.”

“This place is right down the street from my house and I’ve been going for about 30 years (under new ownership and has the new name now). Jesse has been working there for as long as I can remember. Alfredo is super sweet too. Sometimes you’ll run into other people working there who are not in as often and not as friendly (or maybe I just don’t know them well). Some of them will get put out if you ask for cigarettes because its hard for them to find them. Non-smokers, I assume. If you run into one of those people, know it’s not either of the usual 2 guys in there. You likely won’t see them again so don’t let them sour your impression of the place. Lots of booze to choose from and they also have snacks, some food, and other liquor store household odds and ends. I recommend it.”

“I see the bad pictures and unflattering reviews but this was never the case for me. I usually just order from this location on the back end of running errands. The pizza is always made fresh and right, no one ever taken a bite of it (wtf) and I have yet to get a bug in it. I feel bad that's happened, but I've only had positive experiences here. The staff is always friendly, there's plenty of parking with easy access and the orders are accurate. That's all I can expect when picking up pizza. I only wish they put more sauce on their deep dish pizzas but besides that no complaints here. As far as the big pizza places go, this place is way ahead of the curve.”
