“This has become our preferred grocery store for several reasons. First, let's start with the amazing prices and quality of the store brand items. This is what made us Stater Bros fans. Second, we really like the layout of the store because it makes it easy to navigate and get your shopping done. Third, the people and service. Everyone is kind and helpful, and they work together to keep the store organized and clean. Lastly, and this may seem silly, but we love their wide variety of SUSHI! Yum! So, in conclusion, we love this place.”

“I've been shopping here for years. The deli has a wide variety of good quality lunch meat and cheeses, at extremely reduced prices. They have so many spices! You can locate most spices at a reasonable price. I also purchase nuts and snacks here, these prices are very low. I don't typically purchase meat here except for stews. They have excellent chicken prices. I often cannot find the basil I need, but most other produce is good.”
“Fantastic place to shop for great bargains on food, gifts, fruit and more! Always fresh and economical. Also, some makeup and health products are a pretty good deal. Take your time and look around to find the best deals.
I enjoyed the store and cant wait to go back again!
The layout of the store is point on and easy to get through the store with ease. Highly recommend this store.
The staff is always helpful, polite and friendly.”
“The team at my neighborhood Aldi is nothing short of AMAZING. Their helpfulness and warm personalities keep me coming back time and time again. Manager Eric is incredibly sweet and always goes above and beyond to help.
There’s also a cashier—I wish I remembered his name—who is not only efficient, but absolutely hilarious and, most importantly, kind. Every time my mother visits from New Jersey, he remembers her and even brings up something from her last trip. That kind of attention to detail and genuine care is so rare.
The folks at this Aldi create such a nostalgic, heartwarming sense of community.”
“Vons is an excellent grocery store with a great selection of fresh produce, meats, and bakery items. The store is always clean, well-organized, and easy to shop in. They carry both everyday essentials and specialty items, so it’s convenient to find everything you need in one place.
The staff are friendly, professional, and willing to help whenever you need assistance. Checkout is smooth, and the self-checkout lanes make shopping even faster when you’re in a hurry. Parking is also convenient and safe, which makes the whole experience stress-free.”
“In the mood for some Indian food, the place we found place was closed today, so we decided to go to the Indian market there. Here, was a Super Friendly man behind me the counter. No restaurant, Only a market and he had FRESH SAMOSAS and PASTRIES. After taking He recommended The Samosas. They were fresh and delicious. WE ENDED UP HAVING 3 and some pastries to go.Definitely a good place for a pit stop by for a Samosa, pastries, and Indian groceries and run !”
“Authentic Mexican food and market. One of the best kept secrets in Simi Valley, this mercado is one of my first "go-to's" when someone is in the mood for mexican food. Also, they have really good flan, burritos, and horchata.”
“Some great deals but not always lower in price than a major chain. We do, however, shop Aldi plus a major chain and we save a good deal of money. The store is always clean and cashier is friendly.”
“Amanda was so amazing and such a good employee to me! I come into sprouts frequently and she is always super helpful and kind to me. She cashiered for me today and it was super speedy and she was very lovely to interact with!”

“Fairly decent sales! I discourage buying the bagged avocados for ? $5.99. Four out of the seven small avocados were spoiled. Other than that, our shopping was good.”
“I have to say great store great people considering I used to work at that location and better service then you would get at lowes home improvement cause that's now were I work”
“When the Amazon Fresh in Moorpark closed its doors, my world collapsed. One moment I was peacefully scanning items with futuristic grocery-store wizardry, the next I was wandering the asphalt wasteland clutching my reusable bags like a survivor of some retail apocalypse. That’s how I found myself at Albertsons.
Walking in felt like entering a different timeline. No silent AI watching my every move. No gates that judge my snack choices. Just carts. Humans. Fluorescent lighting. I wept softly near the produce section.
But you know what? Albertsons held the line.
The shelves were stocked. The produce looked respectable. I located snacks, beverages, and several items I absolutely did not need but spiritually required. The bakery section radiated the comforting smell of carbs and questionable impulse decisions. Staff were friendly and did not once ask me to justify why I was holding three different flavors of ice cream while staring into the middle distance.
Checkout was… manual. Primitive, even. I had to scan items. With my hands. Like some kind of grocery archaeologist. But the process worked, and I left with food and my dignity mostly intact.
Is it the sleek cyberpunk dream that Amazon Fresh was? No.
Is it a dependable grocery stronghold in these uncertain post-Fresh times? Absolutely.
Four stars because I still occasionally look around expecting cameras to automatically charge my account.
But until the robots return, Albertsons will do.”
“I wanted to say thank you to Vera for helping me when I needed a digital coupon, she took care of it with her own phone. Thank you again for helping me in a time of need.”
“Walmart has everything you need for a one-stop grocery trip. The produce is fresh, and the prices are competitive. It can get a bit busy, but overall, it’s convenient and affordable.”
“Their Cherry Slushie Is Bomb For $2. Their Ben and Jerry's Cherry Garcia is Priceless. I Grabbed 3 $3 Scratchers(33) & 1 Hit For $50. Question? If you give a Scratcher or Lottery Ticket To A Friend and They Win, Should The Friend Reciprocate and Give?To The Person Who Gave Them The Scratcher Or Ticket?”
“I really like this place and I rarely go to a liquor store but their prices are so good, I stop there first. Store is very clean. Staff is great too. At first I only went to buy lottery tickets but now I stop by once a month to make a purchase before I go to a party or BBQ. I have recommended this store to many people so I hope you will give it a try.”
“This is a very clean store close to where I live. The tellers are always friendly, and the bagging staff went above and beyond by helping me to my car and loading my groceries for me. As someone who is handicapped, I truly appreciate this level of service and care!”
“On my way to a gettogether at a friends house, I wanted to not come empty handed. Along my route I decided to stop by Sunflower for some supplies. With expectations low, I thought I'd walk out with some basics. To my surprise, there was quite a wide selection of local brews in the refrigerator section! Good selection from Tarantula Hill, Institution, etc. along with well known out of state breweries. IPAs galore! Did I mention that Sunflower has a drive-thru window? I definitely plan to fold Sunflower into my rotation moving forward.”
“Great experience- I found all that I needed. My only minor issue is that often there are no carts available. They need to gather and bring them to the front more often. I love Ralphs! It is my main grocery store.
Ralphs has the best butcher around... I won't buy my fish, chicken, or meat from any other store.”
“Vallarta is a great place to shop. They have so many products you just can't find at a place like Vons or Ralph's.
Obviously, the Tortillas are incredible, and fresh. The selection of masa is huge as well if you're inclined to make your own. The baked goods are amazing: both Mexican pastries & conchas, as well as quality cakes and fruit tarts.
One of my favorite things about Vallarta is the meat department. There is so much less waste than American grocers. You can get pig ears, soup bones, chicken feet - all the off cuts that you need for some recipes but are otherwise hard to find, and I love that.
Top it off with a massive produce section and a delightful prepared foods area, and really I think the theme is a commitment to freshness and quality.
Vallarta is a market that makes me happy when I shop there, and if you love to cook, I think you'll feel the same.”
“This is the friendliest Walmart I’ve ever shopped in. I’m very lucky to live in the same city as this Walmart and couldn’t imagine shopping in another Walmart.”
“Trader Joe's in Simi is a good spot but busy. The parking lot has 2 Starbucks, a Traders and a Target. So its basically the Bermuda Triangle for women. If you arrive before 7 expect a full lot. Google crowd meter can assist you with this. I got a grape looking Kiwi when I went.”
