This Costco delivers the consistently solid experience youβd expectβwell-stocked, organized, and staffed by friendly, helpful employees. The only reason it falls short of 5/5 is the Food Court.
The queue was excessively long, with only a single line, leading to a slow and inefficient ordering process. The pizzas (both cheese and pepperoni) were overcooked, dry, and noticeably greasy. The drink station could use better upkeep, and the Food Court appeared understaffed. The seating area was also somewhat confusing to navigate.
If the Food Court operations and quality were improved, this location would easily earn a full 5/5, as everything else meets the high standard typically expected.β
βOne of the better gas spots to go to. The staff George and Frank are really good hardworking men and will assist you with any issues you may have. High Schoolers, also respect their request to have backpacks off while in the store, so you know that's saying something.β
βSpecial thank you to the gentleman working this evening who saved me from having to wait for the Auto Club. Driving down LA Avenue at Sterns I ran over a construction part or part of a car that had fallen off a car. It got stuck in the wheel well. The gentleman laid on the ground to hp pull it out He refused a tip. After all that I also saved .80 a gallon compared to the station on the other side of the freeway. Thank you!!β

βSo I was having not such a good evening and happened to be in Simi valley and stopped at this chevron across from toppers pizza. I walk in and bought my things and the employee his name was Danny was such a delight and just honestly put me in a better mood. I honestly was like wow there's still good hard working honest workers humans if you will out there. He was so polite and patient key word patience his manager happened to walk in as I was leaving and I mentioned to him what a great worker he truly had people like this need to recognized because you don't see that that often anymore. So Danny honestly thank you for just being you and thank you for putting me in a better mood I really wish more American people took after you. I will highly highly recommend this gas station not just because how clean the store was or incredible low prices but for you Danny your awesome!!β

βI stopped by here because I was on the 7 Eleven website and it said this was a 7 Eleven location. I wanted a ZOA energy drink from here but when look on Google map, it was shown as a Shell gas station. I still came to see if they'll have the ZOA favor I wanted but I didn't find it. So since I made the drive here, I just got a Coke and snickers to make my trip worth it. This Shell has a car wash station as well if you wanted to use it which I will always advise to always use a touchless car wash. When I looked at the recipe, it did say that this is a Shell 7 Eleven store.β

βKam's mobile is right next to the freeway ramps and uses the best gas and soon to expand their store to Circle K. Can't wait. Coldest beer and soda in Simi Valley. The owners are wonderful people.β

βMando running the service station in the back is outstanding. We were heading out on a long trip when low tire light came on and we lucked upon his shop. He stopped working on the car in the shop and fixed our tire quickly and was so friendly. He didn't even charge us! With our son, dog and cat in the car and a 5 hour drive ahead we were desperate and had told him we'd pay anything he wanted. So nice to find a friendly, honest mechanic. Wish I'd had more than $72 in my pocket to thank him with! Thanks Mando, you were our hero that day!β

βWow, very surprised at some of the views, but everyone has a right to their opinions. That being said, this location always treated me with respect! I'm also, grateful for their free air system. Their hoses are really strong and you get true PSI pressure coming out, too. It's very simple just press the button and go, no asking or begging for air is necessary! ? Great job, guys!β
βKnowledgeable and friendly technicians, but if you need to call to ask a question, good luck. They are woefully understaffed and everyone who is working there is working on vehicles and has no time to answer phone calls.β
βI stopped by this 7 Eleven this morning because I wanted to get some ZOA Energy drink. I came at 6am so they were not busy and I was the only customer there. I parked at the gas pump area but wasn't going to get gas. When I walked in the cashier asked if I was paying with cash or card and I told him card. I didn't see any display for ZOA so I went to the drinks area but couldn't find it. So I got Prime energy drink instead and also got a snicker bar. The cashier was very friendly and was asking me if I wanted to become a reward member with 7 Eleven. All I had to do was put in my number and I get points. The place was cleaned and organized when I stopped by today.β

βThe Chevron in Simi Valley is one of the few stations in Simi Valley that stay open 24/7. Close to the 118 freeway and some stores. There is also and Extra Mile convenience store attached. Car wash is also there. Take a look at this gas station if you are in need of gas before making your rounds especially trekking to LA County.β

βYou can't go wrong with going to Costco gas, the only issue is if you come during the rush time because the wait can be a while. I usually come right when the gas station open to avoid the lines and sometime they even open up a little early. I would say Costco gas is a safer place to come get gas as well because there never any homeless people or just people in general asking for money.β
