“SO i brought my truck here as i had an AC problem. This place was able to fix it same day. This is a young and efficient place to say the least. The quality and service can't be beat and the princes are reasonable. I have brought my wife's car here and they were able to fix it in an hour even though they were slammed. I have also had my sons car repaired here as well and it wasn't a cheap fix, but i did some research on the repair and it was tedious to say the least and its was worth every penny. Again, these guys are not the cheapest, but they are trustworthy and quick with the repairs. These guys are a no nonsense business and that is appreciated as honestly is difficult to find in a mechanic shop, period. I trust these guys and they are always busy, again a good sign of a good business. Trustworthy, fast fair pricing, great service. Try this place out you wont be disappointed.”

“I have worked with Shortees for over 20 years. Mike is the owner, and his wife Shannon is the office manager. They are the best shop I have had the pleasure of working with in Simi Valley since moving her 25 years ago. It is hard to find a quality service business of any kind where you know you can trust them, and they have earned my trust so many times that I would not consider going anywhere else for non-warranty work. But here is the best part: If Mike is aware of a service bulletin on your vehicle which you are asking him to repair, he will first send you to the dealer to ask them to take care of it. He has done this for me twice, without my asking, and he saved me $Thousands as a result, while other mechanics will simply do the work and charge you for it. I have not met anyone in the automotive industry who is as honest and trustworthy as Mike and Shortees Automotive!”

“Came in for an oil leak and coolant leak. They gave me a free inspection and let me know what issues were found. Let me know my oil pan bolts were loose and didn’t charge for me that. “My 2019 Honda civic was running funny after getting an oil change at the dealership. My car kept stalling while driving it and smoke was coming out of the motor and from the back of the car. I took my car to one mechanic in Sun Valley which someone had referred me to but they said they could not find anything wrong with my car. So I picked up my car and low and behold the problem kept occurring. My daughter referred me to Gevik at Yosemite Auto and he told me to bring my car in so he could take a look at it. He had checked my car's oil and was shocked to find out that the dealership had filled my oil 5x the limit. He said I was lucky that I didn't blow my engine driving it around like that. “Luis was very helpful. Originally I went to the Jiffy Lube on Tapo St in Simi Valley and the employee there , Josh told me that they couldn’t do an oil change for my Honda Accord 1991. I told him that the previous year I had gone there but he persisted to say that they didn’t have that oil brand for my car and therefore he wouldn’t be able to do the oil change on my car. I was disappointed and confused so I went to the other Jiffy Lube on Los Angeles Ave. & Hubbard( next to the McDonald’s) in Simi Valley, where I met the employee Luis. He was extremely helpful and he took care of my oil change. He was friendly and very helpful.”

“Solid 4 stars. I've been here a bunch of times. This place can be busy, but the wait is never too long. Service is friendly and efficient. It's a decent value. If you ask for a certain wash they will usually offer the next best one at a discount which is nice. I will say that sometimes there are still a couple spots outside and things could be cleaned better. But overall they do a good job. And now it says they will email you a $5 coupon for reviews, so here goes.”
