“This Marshall’s store is on the I5 between San Diego and Orange County. It’s organized, well stocked, and great service. You want to have a look at the pictures for samples of products and prices. Next to it, many places to eat; one of the restaurants there is a big Panda Express.”
“Four Marshalls, 5 days! After finding a sweater I loved at Marshalls Solana Beach - but only in my size in 1 of 3 colors - I visited three other Marshalls over the next few days in the hopes I'd luck out there. Carmel Mountain was the worst, little selection, they'd never seen the sweater (which is prominently featured right now at SB). Some things must be saved for certain stores. La Jolla Village Square had more of the sweater (an Anne Klein short-sleeved top) - but sadly, still not in my size in the color I needed. So I headed over to Marshall's Mira Mesa. The selection there was smaller than SB or LJVS... BUT it was extremely well-organized and there were friendly staff. The checkout line was the fastest! And I did find one sweater I liked that was different. AND they had sunglasses, which out of the other stores only SB had (& no sunglasses I liked). So I scored a cute $19.99 sweater for work; a cute pair of French Connection sunglasses for $9.99 - and then some Bad Girl Bang blue mascara (which I think is discontinued) for $9.99. So here: Selection 3.5 (not huge but some good stuff), Customer Service 5, Checkout 5! Glad to know this store is way better than Carmel Mountain Plaza - and it's certainly fast to shop in because it's not huge and stuff was laid out well.”
“I started to shop at Kohl’s Encinitas California after my wife introduced me to the store. In most cases they are reasonably priced but often run sales could be up to half off.
I find the prices of pretty reasonable the quality is on par with many of the high-priced stores. I was recently in the market for sport jacket I was shocked to visit six stores finding prices that exceeded $200 and the quality was not really good.
I figured I’d give Kohl’s a look and found a decent jacket that was on sale $120. Also have the option to purchase matching pants if you wanted to make it into a suit. I thought that was a good idea and made that purchase.
For those of you who do not know this Kohl’s is a drop off point if you want to return Amazon purchases at no charge. You do not even need a box just information on the purchase. I guess that works out for Kohl’s because on my recent visit a large number of people returning to Amazon packages used the receipt for the returned package as it contains a coupon allowing you to buy something at 15% discount. I watched several people doing just that to buy something at the store. In my mind that is very good marketing.
The discount is good for about 5 days in case you do not have time during that visit. If you do not have a Kohl’s card and sign up that day you get a 35% discount on your first purchase. They might offer this without a return to Amazon making this a great discount.
Kohl’s is not just a clothing store although most of the inventory is dedicated to just that, they have a host of other products from pots and pans to house decorations.
If you sign up Kohl’s credit card you receive notices and discounts. If you charge on the card almost every month you get special discounts by mail. I personally would rather pay by check so when I purchased something I charge it to get the biggest discount and then write a check to pay off the amount due right there.
While I’ve heard of this complain about the service and they do at times appear limited as far as the people on the floor except the registers I have never found an issue with this. The few times I could not serve myself it was easy to flag someone down. They have been exceptional helping me. I would say they have excellent service and so far, I have never had a problem.
I think this is a well run store with good products at reasonable prices.”

“My favorite place to shop at, the place is very new and clean, employees are super helpful and not pushy at all. They have a restaurant on the second floor and the food there is delicious. I wish they had a little more variety of brands but it definitely is an entertaining stop for shopping and you would more than likely find what you are looking for.”

“This Marshall's location has a lot of designer brands and Hello Kitty items! I found a lot of great deals at very reasonable prices! The employees here were all very pleasant. The store is clean and organized. Definitely check them out! There's free covered parking and plenty of spaces in the sun as well.”

“I really found myself and my wardrobe here. Nordstrom Rack in La Jolla offers good value for what you pay. Their prices are competitive and while shopping here, I tend to force myself to limit the number of items I buy, because there no shortage of good colors and fits here. The t-shirts by Robert Barakett have become a favorite of mine, and a really affordable black button up by Denim and Flower has become my signature black shirt for formal events. The staff is attentive and friendly.”

Everyone from Mike the greeter to the cashiers upon departure are friendly and helpful. We had an experience recently with a team member named Elgin that I feel is truly worthy of recognition. I was helping an elderly friend with food shopping and asked Elgin where we'd find three items. He walked us to the first, escorted us to the second, and told us the aisle where to find the third. We thanked him and went to the aisle that he told us. When we arrived, there was Elgin holding the item that we needed. We were truly impressed with his level of service at Walmart. Elgin provided exceptional service that exceeded our expectations. Thank You! ?”

“This Five Below location is great except they've had the back part of the store blocked off for quite a while since November of 2022 since the store opened and the location is almost always out of stock of things and has the same item selection but other than that I really love Five Below you can find things under 5 dollars and upper and service her is great except they close the self checkouts and people have to assist you checking out which I don't understand why if it's self-checkout!”
