“Visiting Sonoma “Friday the 13th” to meet friends for lunch. I returned to my car around 3 PM and I discovered some “bad luck”, an almost flat tire. People in the area recommended DeWitt's Tire & Brake. Got there and Joe said he could get the flat repaired quickly even though they looked very busy. I was out of there in about 30 minutes! Joe and the rest of the folks there are very friendly and did a great job. Old school customer service and high quality work. Highly recommended! 5+ Stars!”

“This is a great repair shop. I had a door replaced over a year ago and had some refinishing needed on an interior panel. I thought I might have passed any warranty time but CARSTAR didn't question it and made the repair quickly, including the replacement of the rear bumper per my request. A large redwood branch hit and damaged the passenger front fender, and paint chip. Car is 9 years old, a little aesthetic damage I could live with, but this was a medium size dent. To replace the part/paint was more than I wanted to spend. Cris offered for Rudy to take a look, maybe he could pop it out, apply a little touch up paint. Rudy did amazing work, hardly noticeable, I’m so pleased! I will be a customer forever!!

“Great repair shop that is highly professional, honest, and capable. They got my engine running again when it was dead and none of the cylinders had any compression. Rebuilt the engine without having to replace it and everything is running like new again. They handled a big job that other shops wouldn’t be willing to take on and the work was completed within the promised timeframe.
Miguel was very helpful and easy to communicate with. I appreciate the time he took to explain things and answer questions. I never thought I would drive this car again, but thanks to Metric Motors my soul car has been saved. I wouldn’t hesitate to come back here and I recommend Metric Motors if you have a major repair that needs to get done on your vehicle, or to anyone who just wants the best for their car. Now I will be telling everyone how they brought my car back “from the dead” so to speak. A sincere thank you again to everyone at Metric Motors who helped make this possible.

I was recommended to them by another European shop that I had previously worked with but was not taking VW’s. Their staff was friendly and quick in response. It was easy to get my car in, and they had my car done fast in less than two days. They were honest about what needed to be done and not done, and were able to educate me on my car’s features. “Julio was totally awesome. We brought a 1946 cj2a in for a prepurchase inspection. We were able to be fit in on 24h notice, the inspection was very thorough and the fact that this shop has worked on several jeeps before shows. We have a bunch of work to get done, and Julio was great at breaking it up in terms of priority and offering a fair price. We ended up doing an inspection, oil change, and coolant flush immediately and will do the brakes soon.”

“Jeff and his team went above and beyond to help us with a last minute alignment and tune the day before race day. They know their stuff when it comes to race prepped vehicles and dealing with custom jobs. (Welded in subframe eccentrics.) When we found we had low fuel pressure they helped us diagnose the issue and gave us a plan of action to be ready to race the next day, and called everyone they knew to find us parts. Highly recommend this shop.”
“Every time I need a smog this is where I go. It's not fancy, there's no waiting room, it's an old style garage. They get the job done efficiently. No muss no fuss. Last time I was there , which was two weeks ago, I was in and out in about 20-25 minutes, literally.”
“Came into town for the weekend. Suddenly our car shifter became loose and the car would not change gears, around 4pm on a Friday. Called around this was the only place that would be open later and willing to help us put quickly.
Enrique sent David and his brother to diagnose the issue and got us to the shop. Less than 24 hour turn around time and reasonably priced for replacing a gear shift bushing. Thank you so much to all of them!!”

“I have owed this business a positive review for a while now! Recently moving to town, I was looking for a reputable shop to replace a clutch in my car. After stopping into a few local shops, Pacific Rim was not only the most friendly, but they were the most fair priced as well. My first stop refused to do the work flat out, and sent me to a location down the street, who quoted was what truly an absurd amount.I had started to lose hope when I stopped by Pacific Rim for a quote. Friendly, courteous, and kind, they listened to my specific requests, and said they would call back with a quote. A few days later, they gave me a buzz, and we scheduled my service.My car was done sooner than expected, and has been running great ever since.
