I had an excellent experience at Bill & Jay’s Tire in Petaluma. I went in thinking I had a flat tire, and they took the time to inspect it right away. It turned out there was nothing wrong with the tire—they simply refilled the air and got me safely back on the road. To my surprise, they didn’t charge me anything.
The customer service was exceptional.
Everyone was friendly, honest, and genuinely focused on helping rather than selling me something I didn’t need. It’s refreshing to find a business with that level of integrity.
I would definitely recommend Bill & Jay’s Tire to anyone looking for honest, reliable tire service. They’ve earned my trust, and I’ll be back for any future tire or automotive needs.

“I took my car to Empire this morning for a scheduled oil change & tire rotation. They couldn’t have been nicer. I ordered a Lyft to drive me home and while I was waiting one of their mechanics offered me a ride. When I told him I already ordered a pick up, he said they will pick me up when my car is ready. I took them up on their offer! My car was ready 1-1/2 hour after I dropped it off and they thoroughly checked it out. My invoice included details on my breaks, belt & hose check, lights, tire rotation & pressure, and fluids. Their work is warranteed for two years/24,000 miles. I couldn’t be happier that I found a great mechanic in Petaluma. I have complete faith in their honesty and high level service ethic. They won’t steer you wrong!”

“I’m not sure I can say enough good things about Charlene and the entire team at Shotwell’s Autobody.
My brand-new SUV was badly damaged in a rear-end collision, and from the very beginning Charlene went above and beyond to help me through what has been an incredibly frustrating and disappointing experience. She was kind, compassionate, incredibly responsive, and always seemed to be one step ahead of whatever needed to happen next. Most importantly, she made me feel like I had someone in my corner throughout the entire process.
As it turns out, Shotwell’s may never even have the opportunity to repair my vehicle. Because of the extent of the damage, it is now being moved to the salvage yard for further evaluation and will likely be declared a total loss. But from the day my SUV arrived at Shotwell’s until the day it was picked up, Charlene and her team could not have been more helpful.
Charlene kept me informed, answered my questions, helped me understand what was happening at every step, and genuinely cared about making a difficult situation easier. And all of this knowing that Shotwell’s might ultimately never perform the repair. To me, that says an enormous amount about Charlene, her team, and the way Shotwell’s does business.
Great customer service is easy to talk about. It’s something else entirely when people demonstrate it when there may be nothing in it for them. Charlene and her team did exactly that.
While I certainly hope I don’t need an auto body shop again anytime soon, I know exactly where I would go. I would recommend Charlene and the team at Shotwell’s Autobody without hesitation.

“I had a radiator problem that Dave fixed for me almost immediately when he saw that I was down and out of luck. He was suspect of my foreign phone number and when we met in person and I told him about my diagnosis and problem set he was immediately helpful and finished the job and under an hour and a half. We then talked about boy scouts and sailing and other life experiences. I highly recommend going here and thank him for his service”

Gave me a great deal on the price; and most importantly took amazing care of my car, and gave me back my car on the same day itself like brand new. The car needed some work; so I was surprised when they told me they would give me back my car on the same day. Danny, Luis and Juan are a great team. They treat you like family.
