“Great people..brought my bike in with a flat...they took care of me right away and identified another issue that needed to be addressed. Highly recommend these folks.”
“For years I had known families without living options for their adult children with autism. Then Sweetwater Spectrum was founded and they have been changing lives, and adding to the surrounding community ever since. This is not only an innovative supportive housing option but every person there has heart. I can't recommend Sweetwater Spectrum strongly enough.”
“Old Adobe School's play-based curriculum and loving dedicated teachers have been so beneficial for my daughter! She asks every morning if it is a school day and wants to wish her teachers and friends goodnight at every bedtime. Her language skills have improved, her ability to remain engaged with a task has increased, and she has acquired so many new play ideas! From food tastings to rain walks, we know she is continuously learning through doing.”
“As a tourist, we visited this place and actually bought a few items we like. The art is from local artists. There are quite a few different styles. Some are very unique. The prices are reasonable. It is worth a visit.”
“I Attended Hannah boy center in 2000 it was good for me. That’s when the counselors were you know good and I actually wanted to help you. I was in Carmel. I think that’s how you pronounce it. Cottage Carmel. It was a little rough but you know boys will be boys, but it helped me out a lot. I should’ve stayed. And finish the Schooling there… It looks so different now”
“Sonoma Shambhala Center is a warm, open place of meditation, classes and events that welcomes all people and fosters kindness in the community. I have been a member for many years and feel it to be a peaceful space for all.”
“I recently visited the Sonoma Community Center, and it was such a fun and unique experience—especially as a fan of Scream.
I originally went to check out one of the filming locations, since the building was used as Woodsboro High School in the movie. What made the visit even better was how welcoming the staff was. Kelly, one of the workers there, was incredibly kind and went out of her way to give me a mini tour. She showed me “Sidney’s classroom” and the iconic hallway where Sidney Prescott and Billy Loomis had one of their scenes.
It was really cool being able to stand in a place with that kind of movie history. On top of that, I picked up some awesome artwork and even found a Scream tote bag to take home.
The center is open to the public, and I’d definitely recommend stopping by—whether you’re a Scream fan or just looking for something fun to do in Sonoma. Overall, it was a great experience and I’m really glad I went!”
