“I needed a sliding gate motor for a commercial property and after much research decided on getting the Calimet motor, which is based out of Los Angeles county and has made in America motors.
I spoke with Denise who was extremely helpful from initial product selection, to configuration of the system, to checking the design with engineering and availability over her cell to answer any questions and procure additional parts I needed.

“Easy to find thanks to the sign outside, since the building is located inside. They're professional, know their stuff and know what to look for in a architecture plan. They also gave us recommendation for cheap printing company to print out the plans they need and to mention their name for discount. Although heads up, it is a Chinese speaking company, so id say if you speak mandarin it'd get you a better deal maybe, or have a better time communicating.”

“About 10 years ago I purchased 2 6' double sided step ladders. The price was fantastic and the quality was even better. This last winter I left my Werner 28' extension ladders outside of an A frame house in the mountains. When I got there in the late spring after the snow melt, I found that the weight had crushed them enough that there were cracks in the fiberglass at each rung making them unsafe. I knew where I wanted to buy my new ladders but being from Washington State makes it tough to just go get them. But I do travel down there so I waited until the next trip. I checked prices from the big warehouse companies(not sure if I can mention Dome Hepot or Slowe's) before I went there but because of the quality of my step ladders I felt very good about making the purchase regardless. I had the pleasure of meeting Brad who spent way more time with me than I expected. He was extremely knowledgeable and just as friendly. In the end I purchased 3 ladders that day and came back for a 4th on my way back north. Even with CA 10.75 sales tax the ladders were cheaper than the big places. That includes Oregon which doesn't have sales tax. I would have been ok paying more because you usually do for better quality. But I saved over 15% total buy shopping there! A fantastic group of very nice people with a product of the highest quality. I'll be looking forward to seeing them again on my next trip through.
