“First, I'd like to talk about the check-in process. I checked in around 3:30, and the gentleman at the front desk was amazing. He was very polite, provided a thorough rundown of the hotel, and made us feel welcome. The room was excellent—very clean and fresh-smelling. Unlike some other hotels, I didn't feel the need to pull out my own cleaning supplies. The room was well-maintained, and I was very pleased with it. The following morning, I had breakfast at the hotel. There was a good selection of food, and I have no complaints. The tables were clean, and the ladies working in the breakfast area were very polite and attentive. Throughout my stay, every time I entered or exited the hotel, the front desk staff greeted me warmly. Overall, the customer service was great—until checkout. The issue I had was with the checkout experience on 6/1 at approximately 9:30 a.m. The lady at the front desk was very rude. When I told her I was checking out, she asked for my room keys. I explained that I had left them in the room. She insisted that she needed them back, so I had to go upstairs and ask housekeeping to open the door so I could retrieve the two keys and bring them back downstairs. After returning the keys, I asked for a checkout receipt. She told me she could not provide one. I asked how I would know if there were any additional charges, and she simply told me to wait 5–7 business days for my bank to release the funds. I explained that other hotels typically provide paperwork or email confirmation showing that I have checked out, but she said no. What made the interaction even more frustrating was that she was on her phone throughout the conversation and appeared uninterested in helping me. Her behavior was unprofessional and left a negative final impression after what had otherwise been a very pleasant stay.
Overall, I enjoyed the hotel, the cleanliness, the breakfast, and the service from most of the staff. Unfortunately, the checkout experience significantly impacted my overall impression.”

“The Langham Huntington in Pasadena is a beautiful and very elegant place to go for a drink or a business meeting. We did not stay at the hotel, but we stopped by for a meeting and really enjoyed the atmosphere. It feels refined, upscale, and peaceful, making it a great place to sit, talk, and enjoy the setting. Overall, it’s a lovely place to hang out, especially if you’re looking for something classy and relaxing.”

“For our wedding-Had bridal suite and rooms blocked for guests. Overall great experience. Staff were attentive, helpful, friendly, loved the personal touches with welcome frame at front desk for guests/wedding, and the hotel has nice areas for bridal photos including front lobby area and in suite. Smaller hotel with smaller beds/room, but in great location and offers breakfast. Great timely responses from sales staff for months prior. Would stay here again!”

“Hotel was overall pretty nice staff were pretty good ...we were trying to pack our car when a truck came rushing in almost hitting my car...the man driving tried to start an altercation with my husband then went in the hotel and told the staff my husband started it ...the man also had his work crew come to the doors and start screaming at me and my husband threatning to jump my husband and I then the man then went up to his room proceeded to throw things from the balcony at us ...”

“I stayed at Motel 6 Bell Gardens during a short trip and honestly got exactly what I was looking for. It wasn’t a luxury hotel, and I wasn’t expecting it to be. I needed a clean place to sleep, a hot shower, and a convenient location, and it delivered on all three.

The room was clean when I arrived, the bed was comfortable enough for a good night’s rest, and the staff was friendly throughout my stay. Check-in was quick, which is always appreciated after a long day of driving.

What I liked most was the value. In Los Angeles, hotel prices can get out of control very quickly, so finding a reasonably priced option that does the basics well is a win in my book.

If you’re looking for a simple, budget-friendly place to stay and understand what Motel 6 is meant to be, you’ll probably be satisfied. No unnecessary frills, just a straightforward place to spend the night and continue your trip the next morning.”

“We stayed here for our uncles 90th birthday. There are a lot of things nearby. As we all know or should know, nothing in LA is close. almost everything is an hour away. This area has some nearby options that make your stay more convenient. The Hotel itself is pretty clean even though its a bit dated. The staff was friendly. The breakfast is good and the parking is ok. seems like a pretty safe location.”

“I can’t brag about this hotel enough. What a wonderful experience we had staying here for the rose parade! Continental breakfast is fantastic. The staff is so wonderful (Diane was absolutely great helping me reserve my rooms). This location is so close to so many great restaurants. The rooms are simple but really just perfect. “The Hampton Inn Los Angeles/Arcadia/Pasadena is a solid, comfortable stay and a good option for the area.

Rooms are clean, quiet, and well maintained, with comfortable beds and reliable Wi Fi. The property feels safe and well run, and check in and check out were smooth. Staff interactions were friendly and professional throughout my stay.

The included breakfast is convenient and above average for a hotel in this category, and the common areas are kept tidy. Parking is easy, and the location works well if you are visiting Pasadena, Arcadia, or the surrounding area without wanting to stay directly in downtown LA.

The reason for four stars instead of five is mostly minor consistency items. Some areas could use light refreshing, and peak times can make breakfast or elevators feel a bit crowded.

Overall, this is a dependable, comfortable hotel that does what it promises. I would stay here again and would recommend it to both business and leisure travelers.”

Great staff especially at the front desk, Oliver dayside and Eric was there overnight and they were both so friendly and helpful especially Eric this morning when I left, helped me finish out a great trip and stay, from the free bottled water to the golf cart with Andre down the hill to a restaurant and then came back to get me. “Got norms, a burger joint, pizza and seafood. Got 711 around corner. Chevron and shell. THIS PLACE IS THE BEST I COME ALL THE TIME. JAY is so courteous and always does everything to make sure I'm happy with room and services. He's very welcoming and makes sure this place stays clean and calming. “Really nice and clean lobby and room, valet is a bit pricy but a bullet you have to eat. Front desk were really helpful and room was clean. They sent up a microwave and were quite helpful with additional help. Location is a little out of the way but not too bad if you have a car. Would stay again”

we wanted to share that our stay was wonderful.

Our reasons why we would recommend other people to stay as well:

- The team being very friendly and very forward coming with anything

- The room was extremely clean when we arrived

- The area is rather quiet (rarely any ambulances etc. /no shady looking people/no rowdy activities during our stay/other guest where friendly/no disturbance during the night)

- If we needed anything (towels etc.) or had questions (general stuff + around the area a little) you were a great help

- We felt safe (somebody of the team was always approachable/the personal ALWAYS came out of the office when new face arrived or at least took notice and had them on sight/all the locks worked on the door and windows/fire extinguisher being plenty full and visible all around the complex)

- The furniture is nice and sufficient enough (good chairs and table/fridge works good/bed is nice and comfortable)

- No carpet floor, so you know the floor can be cleaned properly (in room 109, we don't know about the other rooms)

- The ice machine worked flawlessly (we had many issues at other places, also at 'big' hotels)

- For the price = worth it, we would always stay here again, when we visit LA again

We were desperate to get our belongings back but due to this language barrier it seemed impossible. Natasha went above and beyond to help us out and she managed to get in touch with the driver and made sure our stuff was delivered back to the hotel that night. This lady deserves all the best for the effort and kindness.”

“Pleasantly surprised by this Best Western. Rooms were clean, although a but outdated. Check in / out was easy. My 3 complaints: breakfast is a bit small, not enough options. The rooms are a bit outdated. The walls are thin, you will hear if you have neighbors. I actually recommend staying here, the price is right and the rooms are clean.”

The front desk was kind and gave me tips on where to eat nearby (try Baccali Café). Quiet area, decent Wi-Fi, and free parking—great for a short stay if you’re exploring east LA neighborhoods. “Best Western Pasadena Inn on 3570 E Colorado Blvd is a fabulous place to stay when traveling in the area. If you are looking for a reliable, comfortable stay in East Pasadena near Lamanda Park with easy access to California Institute of Technology and major roads into Los Angeles, this hotel is a great option. I was in town visiting Caltech and wanted a hotel that had truck parking, a hot tub, a laundry room, and strong cleanliness standards. The Best Western Pasadena Inn met all my needs, exceeding expectations. First off, the area is clean and safe, allowing me to feel comfortable compared to some locations in LA. I also loved the rooms, which are large and clean with fridges and some of the fastest wireless internet I have seen for Zoom meetings. It allowed me to work without stress. Huge accolades for the pool and hot tub. The hot tub was clean and actually hot, unlike some hotels where the water is lukewarm. I also appreciated the staff here because they are very friendly and welcoming throughout the stay. If you enjoy having a wide selection of TV channels, this hotel definitely delivers. They do have a free breakfast, which is a nice added value, especially if you are heading out early for the day. The guest laundry room is also very convenient and a major asset for longer stays or road trips. Overall, I absolutely love the Best Western Pasadena Inn and will gladly stay here again, even if it means driving into Los Angeles, because I know this hotel delivers consistent, dependable quality.”

“Stayed here few times in the past. It’s a newer clean hotel with good rooms. Have also stayed in their two bedroom suite upstairs. Very quiet hotel. It’s a small lobby with free breakfast. Breakfast is typical freebie and the ladies running it are nice. There’s no fitness room but you can go across the way to UFC gym to workout or do a class. Across the way is a Target store if you need sundries. Real Close to Hwy 10 and Valley Blvd where all the good restaurants located.”
