“Been going to Guerra’s for years and can’t put into words how awesome their staff is. One of the freshest butchers in the entire city. Strongly recommend their homemade pasta”
“Absolutely phenomenal experience, it was my first time here! Super friendly and helpful staff, organized, and very high end cut meats. Great prices, I would highly recommend! Thank you Pape Meat Co!”
“We drive all the way from SJ to get these delicious meats from Olivier's butchery. Yes, pricey. But..these are the best in the Bay. The quality of steaks are unmatched. It's as good or better than what the Bay area steakhouse serve. Please go out and support these local businesses. Especially like Olivier butchery that has grass fed and dry aged steaks, something you can't everywhere. And the staff always friendly!”

“Great quality meat with great prices! Love this family owned shop and their honesty. They also make some killer (& reasonably priced) raw dog food. Thank you to the Lee family for everything over the last decade plus. We trust you and greatly appreciate your hard work and dedication.”
“Really good burgers! I ordered the smashburger with fries. High quality meat and fries fried in beef tallow. Top notch ingredients. Also grab their choc chip cookies for a sweet treat after.”
“I saw the store from the bus on the way back to my hotel and I HAD to hop off to check it out. I love local gourmet grocery stores and this didn't disappoint. It's very nice, mid-sized. They have a great selection of artisanal chocolates, many made locally in SF. Plenty of produce, frozen and refrigerated items, deli counters, standards.Prices are probably higher than Safeway, but it's nice to support a local business. The store is clean, well-lit, well-staffed on a weekday afternoon, and organized.”
“They have everything here, a butcher at the meat section, stocked shelves and very nice vegetables. Prices are a little high but they offer senior discounts to 55+ so make sure you ask for it before you pay.”
“Nice little shop. I was impressed with the wide variety of imported beverages- so many intriguing flavors! I grabbed some Cadbury Twirls, and an absolutely fantastic Nestle Baklava bar that was sumptuous. Not overly sweet and it had beautiful crunch from the phyllo and chopped pistachios. I'm scheming a return for some of the halal butcher counter offerings and some of the middle eastern breads on offer.
Addendum: Last time I was in I got a tub of the mango labne and good gracious- it’s so delicious. A mango labne Basque cheesecake is something I think I need to make ?”

We stopped in for the Ham and Black Truffle butter sandwich and ended up coming back the following day for two more. Simple yet perfect sandwich, really patient and kind staff, even with the chaos of people coming in and out just looking around.”

“Authentic Mexican joint, and much more affordable compared to other popular spots in San Francisco. The beef cheeks and flank steak were absolutely delicious!Keep in mind it is a butchery, so you go through a store to order your food. The place is clean and well-maintained, and the staff is very friendly.”
“Pupusas! Cheese, cheese and pork, cheese/pork/beans, chicken and cheese! Choose them all! So delicious! Casual, cafe-style location. Many tables or take to go! Fast service but we ordered online and picked up. Ample parking but don't forget to pay the meter!”
“I love this market. I shopped there on a regular basis for 6 years, as all of the meat that they sell is fantastic. I will stop by there soon. I cooked for a living for several years. Great meat + herbs & spices that are hard to find. True butchers in the back as well. Also, great customer service! They are happy to give you the cut of what you want. Even more cool, they'll tell you how to cook the cut. Yes,5 stars! I'd give six stars if I could. I wish they could branch out a new market to the Inner Sunset ????.”
“The supermarket is clean and well organized. The coffee station is located in the front of the store. It is so convenient to grab, pay, and go. The pastries are also located near the front registers. Coffee and the walnut pound cake was perfect. Very fresh produces and meats. Friendly and helpful staff. They have a private parking lot and street parking.”

“Wonderful spot for fresh produce and basic ingredients. Lots of options for such a little spot! The butcher is friendly and always very generous with his cuts. My family has been coming here regularly for years now. Highly recommend!”
“Very good quality meat and cuts. Tortillas had no price and there was no itemized receipt given, but came out to $4.49. Wish the counter set up was better so we can actually see what meat they give us before we check out. They pack up your order and take the meat strait to the register.”
