“I'm currently in town for the week and traveling light, so adding another pair of shoes wasn't ideal. However, after visiting the Dr. Martens store on Haight and receiving exceptional customer service, I couldn't resist.
The sales associate (whose name, unfortunately, I didn't catch) was incredibly patient and knowledgeable. She not only helped me find the perfect pair of shoes but also provided valuable information on caring for them.
To top it off, she offered a convenient solution to my packing dilemma by setting up free delivery to my home in another state.

“This Red Wing location is awesome. I saw Red Wing just released Beckman’s again which had been out of production for some years. I found they were only available in three stores in the bay area. I watched Brian take care of the four customers who were in the store when I arrived. When my turn came up he patiently answered my questions, performed the 3d scan and stride analysis. Brian was courteous, knowledgeable and professional.”

“Shoe Depot is the place to go for work boots, work clothes, or just clothes in general. They have a great selection of all the top brands of boots and also offer a 10% discount to union workers, which is fantastic when you're buying $250 boots. I can't say enough good things about this place and their staff. It's a small store with better pricing than all the big chains.”

“Chris and his apprentice are amazing cobblers. Their shoes, hats, bags, and other products are of the best quality for the price. They use real sheepskin (none of the "wool-lined" nonsense by the likes of Uggs). Naturally moisturizing lanolin and antimicrobial (non-smelly) properties! They're located in an easily accessible non-descript white building on Airport Blvd. I called in advance before heading there, and Chris said he was able to see me in and even gave me a tour of his whole workshop when I arrived.
