“Parking spaces are available. Delicious hot and cold dishes, salads and desserts to choose from. All dishes are weighed and paid for. The vegetarian curry was very tasty. Great selection of cookies, muffins and soft drinks. Seating is available outside.”
“I go here for the excellent variety of meats and fresh seafood, but they also make one of the best sandwiches in San Rafael. It's an old School family butcher shop.”
“I love shopping at this store. Their prices are very affordable, and the place is usually very clean and organized. The cashiers are always very friendly and courteous! They always have a smile on their faces.”
“Been shopping here for decades. Great quality at fare prices. Great fresh produce & meat/seafood selection. Love that it's not a chain with only two locations.”
“Really kind staff.
I remember when going to Trader Joe’s was a fun adventure. Now, it’s still that, but it’s also ONE OF THE CHEAPEST PLACES TO GET FOOD. I never thought we would come to this. Love you Forever, Trader Joe’s!!!!!!!!”
“This a great place if you prefer natural and organic food options. We stopped here a couple of times while staying in Mill Valley. My only hesitation with not giving this place 5 stars is the prices seemed a little high as compared to other places like Whole Foods.”
“Always great service and quick. Meats are top quality. Pricey, but you get what you pay for. I don't really go here to get standard groceries. Meats and wines are excellent and well priced.”
“We stopped here for lunch while on a bike packing trip. The fried chicken sandwich with added bacon was incredible, and the options to stock up on drinks and snacks were great. They have nice indoor and outdoor seating areas (but no public bathroom). Appreciated being able to charge up our devices while we ate.”
“Great deli customer service and selection. Call ahead for a sando makes it fast and easy. The produce selection is always really, really good. The cost is kinda high”
“I literally go to three different grocery outlet stores. I'm SF based so I go between Marin and here. Grocery outlet is so needed. Good food and treats too. All affordable. I make sure I price here first.”
“Great local Co-Op. It is completely vegetarian, and i used to vegan so then it would have been a nice one stop shop but now, it is a shame to have to bop around but employees recommended a great butcher/fish shop close by. The bulk is very comprehensive and I have found some stuff there that is nowhere else which is cool. They have tons of candles and little gifts too which is cute.”
“Big Rock Mini Mart and Deli serves the best sandwiches in the Bay Area. It is worth the trip! The Philly Cheessteak and cheese burger are the best one could ever get.”
“Such a great local store! Everything is so clean and well-organized. Lots of variety and you can pretty much find everything at this store. Reasonable prices, too!”
“Oh my goodness Woodland Market has my heart such great produce everything here is so good in the store if you have any questions ask anybody here and they are so helpful the food is super yummy tasty I can't say enough about this place”

“We stopped by this place on our tour of San Francisco. We came from Toronto to visit San Francisco. We picked up some really great Persian appetizers and groceries. Quality of the appetizers was amazing. Loved the store and the owner was super friendly and helpful. Definitely recommended”
“I was inspired to write this by a quick stop for apples and vegetables after school yesterday. I shop here about once a week on weekday mornings (plus at the San Rafael location on school breaks and some weekends). The produce is farmers market quality--fresh from local farms--and usually even better priced than Safeway. The fish is the best around and i can only find certain cheeses, like Bulgarian feta, affordably here. Anyway, on this which grocery run between kindergarten and second grade pickup, I told my younger daughter that we weren't going to get treats (which was tough, given how alluring the Christmas display are--and yes, I'm hitting those next week). The store was packed because, it turned out, Thursday is "senior day." My vegetable loving daughter picked out some beautiful oyster mushrooms and a bunch of carrots in lieu of a treat. But then, at the checkout, the lovely cashier offered her a candy cane (after asking my permission) and a balloon. My daughter gleefully exclaimed, "And you said I wouldn't get a treat!" As my kindergartner beamed amidst the crowd of Thursday senior shoppers, I thought about how meaningful local businesses like United are to the community as a whole, from schools to sports teams to seniors.”

“Has good things at a reasonable price. I stop there to have my lunch when I work in Town Center. However I try to avoid spending too much time there. I know that store for too long now.”
“As a 25+ year resident of the Outer Sunset, this is THE store i PREFER to spend my money @, rather than some big corporate chain. Friendly people, great selection (ESPEC of wine & beer), & w/OUT the rip-off prices found a few blocks away @7-11!”

“Good food, typical Bolinas people run it. Lots of people complain about prices who don't know how remote and special the town is. worth it. Be nice and you get nice back”
“Happily surprised to find a grocery store nearby after an educational tour. Stoked I was able to find my favorites - my usual store hasn’t had them in stock, so I was mega happy! Bummed to learn there aren’t a lot of fully vegan spots in San Rafael - hope more pop up soon!”
“They've got some good things. I like getting their slices of cake. But I don't go here very often because in general the groceries here are fairly expensive, and the checkout area is very tight, and isn't great if youre overweight, disabled, or claustrophobic.”

“Amazing olive oils and balsamic vinegars. Staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. Also get the busciaola or bolognese sauce if they have it. The owner makes it himself. It’s the best you will ever have.”

“Stopped here for a caffeine hit at the outside/outdoor stand - nice blend and pleasant service. Do need to note that it is cash only and the prices are definitely on the high end of things.”
