“Just as good as all other TJs. Well supplied. Very busy on days before holidays, back to school, etc as to be expected but Store almost over capacity. Parking can be survival of the fittest sometimes as the lot is shared with a few others stores.”

“I go here for the excellent variety of meats and fresh seafood, but they also make one of the best sandwiches in San Rafael. It's an old School family butcher shop.”

“This a great place if you prefer natural and organic food options. We stopped here a couple of times while staying in Mill Valley. My only hesitation with not giving this place 5 stars is the prices seemed a little high as compared to other places like Whole Foods.”

“I literally go to three different grocery outlet stores. I'm SF based so I go between Marin and here. Grocery outlet is so needed. Good food and treats too. All affordable. I make sure I price here first.”

“Great local Co-Op. It is completely vegetarian, and i used to vegan so then it would have been a nice one stop shop but now, it is a shame to have to bop around but employees recommended a great butcher/fish shop close by. The bulk is very comprehensive and I have found some stuff there that is nowhere else which is cool. They have tons of candles and little gifts too which is cute.”

“Went to Sprouts today and was amazed at the prices and brands available. Some of the same brands as Whole Foods (Amazon) at lower prices. The employees were friendly and actually asked if they could help! What?? ? Produce and meat also excellent. Definitely worth the trip.”

“I was inspired to write this by a quick stop for apples and vegetables after school yesterday. I shop here about once a week on weekday mornings (plus at the San Rafael location on school breaks and some weekends). The produce is farmers market quality--fresh from local farms--and usually even better priced than Safeway. The fish is the best around and i can only find certain cheeses, like Bulgarian feta, affordably here. Anyway, on this which grocery run between kindergarten and second grade pickup, I told my younger daughter that we weren't going to get treats (which was tough, given how alluring the Christmas display are--and yes, I'm hitting those next week). The store was packed because, it turned out, Thursday is "senior day." My vegetable loving daughter picked out some beautiful oyster mushrooms and a bunch of carrots in lieu of a treat. But then, at the checkout, the lovely cashier offered her a candy cane (after asking my permission) and a balloon. My daughter gleefully exclaimed, "And you said I wouldn't get a treat!" As my kindergartner beamed amidst the crowd of Thursday senior shoppers, I thought about how meaningful local businesses like United are to the community as a whole, from schools to sports teams to seniors.”

“They've got some good things. I like getting their slices of cake. But I don't go here very often because in general the groceries here are fairly expensive, and the checkout area is very tight, and isn't great if youre overweight, disabled, or claustrophobic.”

“Amazing olive oils and balsamic vinegars. Staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. Also get the busciaola or bolognese sauce if they have it. The owner makes it himself. It’s the best you will ever have.”

“Everything is so good! The onigiri is my favorite as well as their sushi! It's very fresh but they don't always have the onigiri. I come here pretty often”

“Good food, typical Bolinas people run it. Lots of people complain about prices who don't know how remote and special the town is. worth it. Be nice and you get nice back”

“It would have been 5 stars. I love Safeway! Except for your cashier. I was going to post his name. It was on my receipt. But I don't want him to risk his job. Or even get a demerit or whatever happens these days. I'm a senior. Don't get out much. But I'm polite, cheerful, and don't ask for anything special. He was very helpful when I asked if there were any white KitKats in stock (there weren't. ) It was downhill from there! I cracked a joke, and another, just to lighten the mood cause he looked unhappy. Nothing. No eye contact, no smile, no thank you when I was leaving, no have a nice day. I live in West Oakland and our cashiers are WAY nicer at our PAC N SAV (SAFEWAY) and believe you me they have a WAY harder day than you guys do here in Corte Madera! Drunks, spaced out folks, most people counting coins, food stamps, entire families, crying babies, dogs, seniors, disabled people and not enough motorized carts, it goes on and on and Mr pouty face shouldn't be doing this job if he hates it so much. He bummed out my day. I'm going to eat some ice cream. Hire nicer people Safeway!!!!”

“Shop here all the time. Good deals in comparison to other markets. Fruit is fresh as are veggies but don't suggest you buy your meat here. Good service from checkers and quick. Lots of parking..overall I am in and out usually pretty fast and don't spend a fortune on stuff I need”

“I visited this store for the first time. I admired the cleanness and organization of this place. The service was excellent. It is a small store, but it has a lot of good Peruvian products. I hope this store will soon fulfill pickup or DoorDash orders because it is located on a busy street (Fourth Street), and sometimes it is difficult to find parking close by.I recommend checking the expiration date of the product you would buy. I bought a couple of items that were expired. I didn't bother to return them. Lesson learned.”
