“Number 1 Vintage store in Southern California was overjoyed when I heard they were safe from the fires. They have the greatest and best Burning Man Costume selection 30s 40s vintage pieces. The list goes on and on!”
“The best donation center in the valley. The workers are the nicest and they are so helpful. I come here often and I have always had great experiences. 100% amazing place.”
“I’ve been shopping here for a few years and they always have amazing inventory. As a buyer or a seller, the always make you feel like you’re the only customer. Can’t say enough good things.”
“Can’t say enough good things about the Milk Room. The owners Greg and Rob put their heart and soul into this place and it shows. They have an amazing collection of clothes and super reasonable prices. It can sometimes be intimidating to walk into a vintage shop, but these guys made everyone who walked in comfortable. Greg and Rob are just so personable and down to earth. When Rob heard I loved animal tees, he went in the back and brought out this crazy dolphin tee for me. Most vintage shops would charge well over $30 for it and he threw it in for $10.They also have a recording studio in the back and let tons of young bands use their space to perform. The vibes here are just amazing and I’m so happy I stopped by.Best shop in LA, hands down!”
“Insanely good. Their selection of 501s alone is unbelievable. They literally wash all the items upstairs. You can hear the machine going sometimes. Seems like everything is hand picked. They have some nice new clothing items in the back too which is clever.”
“This place is awesome and the folks are great to deal with. Great selection and high end stuff. We spent a fortune but a fraction of what the new replacement cost would be. Highly recommend. Honest, courtesy, and willing to make a deal! Thanks Rebound! John”
“This place is great , super organized Clean, and the best of this location is the crew Look for Briana.she is so nice ,always willing to help you,so is the manager Norma I love this place”
“This cute antique store has many interesting items to tickle your fancy for any occasion. Each section offers a unique style ranging from antique silver cutlery, bowls, plates, costume jewelry and real jewelry, antique furniture, and so much more. The two owners are knowledgeable about their vast inventory of items for sale. They also buy items from the public pertainable to the merchandise they sell at the store. Retro Relics is located on Sherman Way in Canoga Park along the antique section of this area, West of Canoga Ave. Defintely stop by and peruse their store. You will find many unique holiday items to give as gifts or for any occasion.”

“I’d like to share that I was in the store today and a very rude woman was making racist comments and the two volunteers working at the store asked her to leave and she refused and then she physically assaulted of the women and it was disgusting to watch. This is a beautiful store that does great work for an amazing cause and the volunteers working there did not deserve to be treated like that. Please have respect when you shop at this establishment.”
“Love this Antique mall, you can find wonderful high quality furniture and decorative pieces, superb jewelry and reasonably priced. I read reviews and I was surprised at others saying it was overpriced, it is not. also very nice help and free parking in the back.”
“This is a great salvation army store. I love the opportunity to buy great items second-hand rather than buy things from something like Amazon or Shein or Temu which is so bad for the planet and people working in those factories.
My one comment would be please make sure that when you're saying you're giving discounts based on certain tag colors that you are ringing that up at the register. When I got home I realized I was charged full price for all the items I had with the green tag which was the tag that was 50% off today. The gentleman helping was very kind. But I just wanted to call out that we need to make sure that customers are charged correctly.”
“I love this store so much ! The staff is super helpful. The crazy reviews on here must be from some really off beat mentally ill individuals. I have shopped here for 10 years and the Manager Melissa has been the absolute best. Some people obviously don't know the protocols of the business and strike out to attack when things don't go there way. It's so easy to hide behind a computer screen and fire off a bunch of nonsense.
I will continue to shop at this location because of the excellent customer service I always receive from everyone that works here.”
“Very clean and organized, one of the best thrift stores in the Valley. Yes, this store prices the merchandise a little higher than other stores. I believe that's the result of culling the choice items and only putting the best out for sale. Good parking situation, which is always a plus.”
“I came during the start of the Labor Day Sale and I've never found so many unique and quality items for such a great value. Other chain thrift stores have raised their prices, but not the quality of product, while this store had one gem after another. I can't wait to see what I find there next time. Also, two young and trendy sales associates were running the store front and seemed to really appreciate what they do - made the experience that much more special.”
“I like to shop at small friendly independent businesses that care about the products they sell and the people they sell them to…this is that store!! The owners are so passionate about what they do. I really appreciate the thought and care they put into curating their collection of vintage surfboards and how knowledgeable they are about everything in the shop- I could spend forever in here!! They are always so excited to share their latest graphics and the stories behind the designs. I send their hats and tees to my family in New York who love how “California” their products are. They package everything so nicely and ship everything out super quickly…they are the best !!”
“Impeccably curated. Hands down the best vintage store I’ve been to in LA. If you want to find one of a kind pieces that you will cherish for life, this is the place to go.”
“I walked by this store so many times, but I never went in but wow! They have a great selection of good condition items: denim shorts, party dresses, outerwear, and a big selection of pants and jeans. Between boardwalk vintage and Animal house across the street you can definitely find some one of a kind pieces.”
“This place is amazing!! Over the years I’ve purchased multiple items from The Closet Trading Company and they ALWAYS have great finds! The stylists are super helpful and I always leave with something cute and unique for a great price. I’ve never consigned any of my own items but I love shopping what comes in. Bonus points for being a fun and an easy way to do good for the planet. Down with fast fashion, Closet Trading Co for the win!”
“Equvalence in Encino is hands down one of the best stores I’ve been to! The owner is super nice and really knows how to take care of his customers. He personally cashed me out and bought my shoes for a very fair price—no lowballing, just honest business. You can tell he genuinely cares about making sure people leave happy.
The store itself is amazing, filled with all kinds of heat—tons of shoes, streetwear, and even Bearbricks for collectors. Whether you’re looking to buy, sell, or trade, this is the perfect spot. It’s super clean, well-organized, and has a great vibe overall. And now, they even have a Boba shop inside, which just makes the experience even better! You can grab a drink while browsing all the dope stuff they have in stock.
If you’re into sneakers, fashion, or collectibles, you NEED to check this place out. The service is top-tier, the selection is crazy, and the owner makes sure you’re taken care of. Definitely my go-to spot in Encino. Highly recommend!”
“Excellent sourced for pre owned clothing, although the clothing seemed completely new and the prices are really fair. Nearly 50% off popular brands like reformation. Will be going back whenever I’m in the neighborhood.”
“Great thrift store! So much stuff and well organized. There is a 50% off sale on clothing this weekend. They don’t organize clothing by size but I’m used to that. The staff was continually bringing out items, and was friendly.”
“Nice small size crossroads in Santa Monica California, its got good selection. Staff are friendly here to me. It's in a good convenience of a location in Santa Monica not far from the pier / beach in downtown Santa Monica , this location very accessible to and from metro station, hotels etc in the area , as for parking its around on the streets.”
“It has a nice selection of trendy gently used clothes. They have luxury brands and regular brands. It is about $7 for a T-shirt, so it isn't as budget friendly as a thrift store but the selection makes up for it. There are only 2 fitting rooms, so it was approximately a 10 minute wait to try on clothes.”
“I was skeptical with the negative reviews. But I had to return a pair of shoes that just didn’t work for me. Marlon was so nice and did the return no questions asked. I came back the next day and Ruben helped me work out a transaction that the in app chat support team couldn’t help with.
If you’re consigning, make sure you ask about the process and how the rates work. Great experience in this store for sure!!”
“Fantastic store and wonderful people! Always have to stop in when I'm in LA. Awesome and eclectic collection of great vintage goods. Got a KILLER cardigan a few weeks back!”
“Stumbled upon this treasure last Monday and between the precious dog and the products I had the best time. Can not recommend more if you are a vintage seaker of fine things from jewelry to hats to clothes very spiritual ! Can’t wait to visit again”
