My best friend and I spent a weekend here, and I have never felt more divine—like the highest version of myself. There is a magic woven into this place, and Bill’s kindness feels less like hospitality and more like being welcomed by an old friend.

These are the moments I will never forget: singing in the copper tub beneath the stars and full moon, sipping wine until the water turned cold; twirling barefoot through the gardens with my best friend in disbelief that I was lucky enough to stay somewhere so breathtakingly beautiful. The hummingbirds, frogs, and peacocks became companions, and the outside world felt wonderfully far away.

I stayed awake nearly all night before leaving because I couldn’t bear for it to end. And now, weeks later, I realize something shifted in me. Mermaid Mountain reminded me that I am worthy of opulent and extraordinary experiences.

The property is also home to a beautiful butterfly sanctuary lovingly tended by Sergio, who shares his knowledge and offers plants for guests to purchase and take home. I brought a few back to my own garden, and now butterflies visit me there, reminding me that places can continue to nourish us long after we’ve left them. “We absolutely loved the 1909! This was the perfect venue for our wedding and was a dream come true! The venue itself is absolutely stunning and so magical. We barely had to dress it up because it was so gorgeous! It’s well kept, clean, and so beautiful with all the trees. We also loved the various locations we had for the ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner and dancing. It really made our wedding feel exciting and dynamic. Thank you so much to Peyman & Mohammed for communicating with us & being so responsive to any questions or concerns we had! We also loved working with Cristina! She was such a help in the few months leading up to our wedding and on the day of! All the small details were handled so graciously by herself and the 1909 staff! “We held our daughter's 5th birthday party at Adam's Garden and it was wonderful! It's really great for small kids and their amazing team handled everything from setup/cleanup to decorations. It's also more affordable than a lot of similar places in the area. The best part is they have have additional staff who plan fun games and activities to entertain the kids so we were able to enjoy time with our adult guests. Everyone had the best time!”

“We couldn't be happier with our experience at the Bay Club. We had originally planned an April 2025 big birthday bash at the club. The Palisades fire hit in Jan 2025, and we had to postpone our party. However, we couldn't think of any other place than the Bay Club so we put off our party until May 2, 2026. It was worth the wait, and we were pleased to help economically support the local community by having our event there.

Alissa Barrera was our Bay Club coordinator, and she was excellent. She was responsive, available and totally pleasant to work with. She kept us informed of key dates, party options, prices, etc.

The venue itself is drop dead gorgeous. We had a cocktail hour on the lawn, and everyone of our guests were overwhelmed with joy at the views and beauty of the spot.

The staff serving drinks and dinner were also excellent and the entire event for 190 guests were off without a hiccup. We couldn't be happier with our event and how successful it was.”

“Great facility with lots of toy selections for different ages. Employees are friendly, and made sure we are aware that it's an all-day play. We've been to different indoor playgrounds, but for the same price, I love that P&P has the flexibility of all-day entrance. I also love that there are food and beverages available on site for purchase plus couches inside the play area for the parents. My 19-month old had a blast! Will be coming back frequently ☺️”

“Such an adorable and classy venue for our sweet 16! It was PERFECT and way more elegant than I even remembered it to be when I first visited. We had 190 people and it didn’t feel cramped at all. The food was great. I also LOVED their lighting and visual effects, including the big screen. And their Photo Booth was the best I’ve ever seen! They had so many props. We had an absolute blast! And it was sooooo affordable. Ten out of ten!”

“The pool complex does not open until Memorial Day weekwnd, May 25th. Open daily June 26-Sept 2. A classic pool. Huge. Lots of lounge chairs and umbrellas. Very good changing rooms with devices to spin your wet cloths dry. There is NO depth less than abt 3 feet. Non-swimmers must be accompanied by adult. They have lots of swim vests.”

“This three story, understated building has a small meeting room on the first floor and on the second, a large, sound isolated meeting hall, with kitchen and wheelchair accessible bathrooms. There is a stage located about four feet above room's floor. No audio-visual is provided. The staff is knowledgeable and cooperative.”

“I came here tonight for my friend baby shower that was hosted in the Banquet Room. I found parking fine in the parking lot here but just watch out for potholes. They closed the stairs entrance in the front so we had to go around pass the gate. The ballroom is pretty spacious and you can get creative on the decorations. We had a great time celebrating here and they did catering for the food option. There was a bar and soda were free but alcoholics drinks were not. The only downsize to this venue space is the bathroom. It's not the best or updated here so be aware of that.”
