“Thank you for this location ?Always clean, organized, and stocked well everyday. Friendly, helpful staff, enjoyed shopping at this location, while living in Lomita, California.”
“Sprouts carries a number of vegan options in every department and has awesome produce. Their deli also has a great 'build your own sandwich' with great veggie options for only $5 Updated from previous review on 2026-02-13”
“I do enjoy this store and I can find some decently priced items, but this store unfortunately isn't one where I can buy all of my groceries from. Great for meat, some frozen foods, milk and eggs. I wish their canned vegetables and fruit aisle was bigger, but if you want to stock up for emergencies, then buying some here would help you. Also come with a quarter, because you need to put one in for the grocery cart. I can understand their reasoning behind it, but I have forgotten when I've come here before. The staff isn't always the most friendly, some even look at you like you are in the way, but that's not my issue, so that's what they need to deal with when it comes to customers. Also whenever I come here, there is usually only one cashier open, it makes me feel like they are trying to push their customers to use the self checkout (which I hate with the fire of a thousand suns), so I patiently wait for the cashier to be done with the other customers. The upside i like to this store, is that I can bag my own groceries, because they have a section you can push your cart to and bag your food to your specifications. Where sometimes at a different grocery store, a bagger won't do the job well and I have smooshed bread or sushi that is messed up. So this is great for me (for you lazy people this would be a downside ).”
“The old man is talking again.
He has three things on the belt. Bread. Eggs. A can of soup. He stands close to the counter like it’s cold behind him. The clerk scans slowly. He doesn’t notice. Or maybe he does and doesn’t care.
He tells her the tomatoes aren’t what they used to be. Says they used to split open in the sun. Says they smelled like something. She nods. She says, “Yeah,” the way people do when they don’t know what else to say.
I look at my watch. I don’t need to. I just want to feel the weight of time in my hand.
There are four people behind me now. No one speaks. We all breathe a little louder than we need to.
The old man laughs. It’s not a big laugh. It’s dry. He says his wife used to make soup with bones and scraps. “Best you ever had,” he says. Then he adds, “She’s gone now.”
The clerk’s face changes. Just a little. She says she’s sorry. He shrugs. Like it’s weather.
I shift my feet. I think about dinner at home. The light from the television. The quiet. It will not be so different from his quiet. I don’t like that thought.
He asks her what she’s studying. She says business. He says that’s good. Says the world always needs people who understand money.
The machine beeps. The receipt prints.
He folds it slow. Puts it in his wallet like it matters.
He thanks her. Says her name. He must have read it off the tag. No one does that anymore.
He pushes his cart away.
Now it’s me.
The clerk looks at me. “How are you?”
I almost say fine. I almost end it there.
Instead I say, “Long shift?”
She nods. “Yeah.”
I nod back. That’s all.
The line moves again.”
“My father wanted to check out Aldi for the first time, so I brought him here. I saw a gingerbread house kit for only $1.29 on clearance, so I had to buy it of course. lol. It was a pretty big size, pre assembled, had everything you needed to decorate, and was already etched with the design, so all you had to do was trace the lines. My toddler and I had a great time decorating, and the end result was beautiful and tasted delicious.
Too bad Aldi didn't have any reusable straws in stock. I saw it on the flyer but couldn't find any in the store.”
“I accidentally chose this location for a return. I only came in to drop off my return. From what I saw, the store was very nice and clean. All the items on the shelf were faced like someone with OCD was in charge of stocking the shelf. It had a weird vibe to it though, the people in there seem very monotonous and robotic. I'll be back on the next accidental return.”

“A small yet, with varieties of Persian, Russian and Middle East products, grocery store. Free parking is in the rear. Both vegetarian including fruits and vegetables, and non vegetarian products are available in clean store. Products are fresh. The staff is helpful and friendly, answering the questions humbly. The prices are very reasonable . A wide range of the bakery items , fresh, is the reason for visiting the store.”
“The Grocery Outlet is located at 2515 Torrance Blvd. and Crenshaw, in the city of Torrance. The store is brand new, all shelves stocked and it has plenty of parking.
The store has a modest produce section, everything fresh.
Prices are good, and they also have specialty items you wouldn't find at other stores.
Hope this is helpful. Blessings.”

“Love shopping here! They have everything that you can image just like at Costco or Ralphs but in smaller portion. If you have a small family, then this is the place to come. Everything here is fresh, and the self's are fully stock. Great selection of products.
See you next week Smart & Final!”
“Ralph's has this lemon, lime, or orange flavored ice that my family and I absolutely loves. You can't order online and get delivered or pickup. You have to go into the store. They also had some veggies I was looking for that were a bit hard to find.”
“This Smart & Final had all of the Grocery items that I was looking for: also the Cashier Destiny was very helpful and efficient in making sure that my groceries were rung up in a timely manner.”

“Great service! Excellent customer care! I needed to get an specific vaccine and they were able to order it for me. They are very polite and explained to me in detail the side effects of the vaccines I had and when I could get other ones I needed. Very informative. Great experience!”

He was had lended out his jumper to help some guys start their car during his break and gave me some great car advice myself along with some good directions for the where to find our items in the store. I can’t wait to see him again very determined young man.”
“Thank you so much to Ashley in the deli department for helping me pick out the best meat and cheese. She is such a beautiful and kind soul, and her customer service is unmatched, I truly hope she gets a raise, because she deserves it! We need so many more beautiful spirits like hers, if we did, this world would be such a beautiful and kind place to live in!”
“One stop shop..Just need liquor and meat. I think the Owner is great and it would be nice if the community would raise money to help him get the building up to code so he could supply those things..”
“I had walked by this small neighborhood market many times and noticed the sign for deli sandwiches, so today I decided on a hot roast beef for lunch. It's a small, quaint Mediterranean international market with an interesting inventory. The proprietor was very friendly, the shop has a great local vibe.My sandwich was thickly stuffed with tender, sliced roast beef, Swiss cheese, lettuce, tomato, mayo and mustard on a tasty, soft roll. The large sandwich at $8.99 is easily big enough to share. Now that I've found this local gem, it will be a regular lunch stop for me when I'm in Redondo.”

“The larger stores have every thing I need like bulk cereal, nuts, coffee and all the low price stuff I've bought for years. Larger selection of produce and it seems like a larger store all around. Faster check out, more personel and now feels like a true full S&F market.”
“Great food and shopping experience. If you like browsing for new food choices...a blast. Also great for shopping for small households. And if you are someone who does not cook but wants to eat better quality food, Trader Joe is your friend. LOTS of great choices.”
