“Friendly employees, great selection of products, fresh food. It's Trader Joes. What more can you ask for?One gripe would be it's typically busy, but that's hardly a fault of TJ's.”

“Haven't been here for a couple years and wanted a favorite rice I really like so I stopped and nothing changed. It's like I was here yesterday. The items were all in the same place. The produce is still a very reasonable price. The feta cheese is amazing and the staff are just as friendly. I grabbed my items and before I left I had to get 1/2 pound of Kalamata olives love them. I guess I'm going to have to stop here more often.”

“One stop shop..Just need liquor and meat. I think the Owner is great and it would be nice if the community would raise money to help him get the building up to code so he could supply those things..”

“I had walked by this small neighborhood market many times and noticed the sign for deli sandwiches, so today I decided on a hot roast beef for lunch. It's a small, quaint Mediterranean international market with an interesting inventory. The proprietor was very friendly, the shop has a great local vibe.My sandwich was thickly stuffed with tender, sliced roast beef, Swiss cheese, lettuce, tomato, mayo and mustard on a tasty, soft roll. The large sandwich at $8.99 is easily big enough to share. Now that I've found this local gem, it will be a regular lunch stop for me when I'm in Redondo.”

“I love this market/restaurant. When you open the door the smell of the food is wonderful. They have a full market of international and fresh foods and some of the most delicious homemade Indian vegetarian dishes in the back. You can view many dishes behind the glass and also order more selections from the kitchen. When you try this place be sure to order some of the breads fresh baked for you and really delicious. They have a full sweets section too. I guess you can tell I eat here very often and have been for over 30 years. You will certainly love the great food and enjoy the casual homey atmosphere!!”

“I love Smart & Final for their great prices, bulk items that are still small enough that I can carry them myself (50-y.o. woman), the good variety of products they generally have, their great deli salads like potato with egg, and they carry my favorite flavored liquid creamer in the large economy size, as well as heavy whipping cream in large unit sizes. The employees are ALWAYS STELLAR at all the Smart & Finals I’ve been to.Keep in mind that each location will have somewhat different products based on what sells in their store as well as local ordinances. For example, the stores in RB don’t sell foam cups because it’s against the law there. And the one at 1125 E El Segundo Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90059 caters to the surrounding community, **which it definitely should do,** but that leaves me out because I don’t purchase those items. So what I’m saying is that each location caters to their surrounding community-and that’s really a great thing! So you simply have to find your tribe’s locations. They don’t get five stars, though, because they are not fast enough with their restocking of items that consistently sell out.Perhaps that is a management strategy, but ***it annoys the heck out of me as a customer, and THIS DRIVES ME AWAY.*** This behavior pushes me out of your store and into somebody else’s store. So when all item at the Torrance store it’s put off stock, I go to the South RB store, and they usually have it.Regarding stock, they also should be more diligent in rotating their stock: In the past few years that I have been shopping at Smart & Final (both at this location and at the one in South Redondo Beach —1516 S Pacific Coast Hwy, Redondo Beach CA 90277), I have purchased food that, when I got home, I saw its was already expired. It happened twice at this store and once at the other store. It really peeved me the second and third times because it began to feel like negligence. I barely have time to shop as it is, and now you’re causing me to have to spend more time to return the product???I understand that nobody is perfect, but this really shouldn’t be happening; people could get sick and sue the company—if they survive the infection and don’t die from sepsis! And yes, you can get sepsis from salmonella.(I was hospitalized for five days in 2014 with sepsis. I was close to death for a few days, apparently. We never figured out where I got it from.)”

“This is one of my go-to grocery stores. It is conveniently located on my route from the gym so it works for me. It's a spacious location clasped to other stores.”

“Amer in the Deli department managed to remember my exact order with the modifications after what felt like a gap of at least a month of me not being served by him. I’m sure he has done the same for others but I wanted to acknowledge it if someone hasn’t already. This is something I don’t experience at other whole foods locations and I hope it’s being recognized by management.”

“Really a 4.5 but not an option.Clean, well lit and stocked well.First visit, ever.Only negative is the ice cream was probably left out too long before stocking. The Drumstick cones weren't crispy. Soggy from temperature extreme between manufacturers facility and transportation. Also, Great produce and friendly crew.”

“Every time I've been here the clerk has been so sweet and makes small talk with my boyfriend and I. I don't know why anybody would review this place negatively. Sure it might be a little messy but most Ma and Pa liquor stores are. My customer service experience was great here and has been every time.”

“Trust the more recent reviews!! Decided to visit for the first time today and was thoroughly impressed. The store itself was clean and bright with items well organized and labeled. Found out they have a new manager, which explains the difference in the service as seen in the older vs. newer reviews. Overall quality of products was great! Will definitely be visiting again!!”

“Tonight, I went to the "Numero Uno"market. When I arrived at the parking lot, there were not many cars.I walked inside of the market. I went straight to the produce section. I boughta Chinese cabbage, green onion& and garlic. The market was cleaned & well organized. And all the vegetables looked very fresh. Then, I found Korean melons, which were my favorite fruits. I thought that the "Numero Uno" market was owned by a Spanish person, but how did this market carry the Korean melon? One of an employee told me that they changed the ownership to the "Superior Grocers" market. Then I went to the meat section to buysteaks & chicken breast. The steaks looked fresh and new. Then,I found the chicken breast with no invisible fat. After that, I went to the cashier sectionand paid for groceries. The total grocerybill came out to $46.00. I bought a lot of food and the prices were so low. This market had the lowest prices in thisarea. And they had good customer service. The cashier lady was a friendlyand nice person. The only thing I didn't like about this storeWas I having to pack groceries by myself?Anyway, I liked their fresh vegetables & fruits.I liked this market because the price of groceries was low and they had good customer service too.If you would like to save money for grocery bills and buy fresh & goodquality foods, I like to recommend thismarket.”

“I have many memories of this place. I used to come here for my favorite Briyani, naan and Paneer tikka. I don’t eat meat but Al Amin guys used to make veggie version of Briyani & Tikka masala. I was back in town so I decided to check in. I called the store but it was sad to hear that they don’t sell food anymore. Their kitchen is closed till further notice. Well, COVID sucks! I wish they bring back their kitchen. I miss enjoying their Briyani.”

“100% Aldi is some kind of euro-cult thing. The brands are odd, there's a weird mix of products, and things can be hit and miss. You will find a decent variety of european strange foods, candies, etc. And of course there's the aisles of Kmart like "home products and knock off toys." Maybe Aldi was born out of a German grocery and IKEA having a love child. I dunno. But what I know is....- Prices are undeniably LOW- There are some amazing finds to be found- You can almost check off your grocery list- If you're willing to make some compromises you'll save a tonRemember to bring a quarter with you so you can get a push cart. You put the quarter in to "check out" your cart and you get it back when you've clicked it back into the cart parking area. How genius as it give people an incentive to return the flippin' cart and not bump it into everyone else's car. Aldi. Land of the odd and home of the strange. But I dig it.”

“Really good selection of WIC items which makes it easy to shop. They also always help me out to my car with my bags and the workers have a good attitude. My only request is more of a fruit and veggie selection. Quick and easy place to shop”
