Joe's Smog Shack, Inc. is a family owned shop voted #1 in Tracy for over ten years. They do all star and test-only smog checks. The shop is known for its wonderful, very nice, and amazing people who provide friendly, above and beyond customer service with a high customer service mindset. They are great mechanics, not just for smogs, and are sooo reasonably priced. They explain everything quite well, take the time to diagnose problems correctly, and offer helpful advice. Customers report they work their magic to help cars pass smog, provide quick repairs when other shops are booked, and even offer rides. Many stress they will definitely be coming back and fully recommend their service, calling it a truly great experience.
Very reasonable. Always feel I got a fair deal there. Great office staff.

Since moving to Tracy from the Bay Area I was in need of an honest mechanic. I’ve been here quite a few times with issues with an old truck. Always honest and helpful. I appreciate the advice and info I receive at this place. I’ve even referred family with positive experiences. 5 stars!
