“Bottom line up front, there is no comparison between GateKeeper Off-Road and the big chain shops that only know how to throw stock parts at a problem. The folks at GateKeeper have the knowledge and fabrication skills to take on a complex job, come up with a workable plan, and follow through on it with great communication along the way. I would highly recommend this shop for any custom suspension related work. GateKeeper sorted out the front suspension on my ambulance camper van with some custom front springs. The change in stance of my vehicle felt immediately obvious having the vehicle leveled out correctly. The ride quality was dramatically improved. While not overly stiff, the front suspension just feels right - especially under braking and when going around an off-camber downhill turn. GateKeeper was able to take a vehicle that felt pretty sketchy at times and make it a pleasure to drive. So thank you Jacob and everyone at GateKeeper Off-Road for your help and great work. I'll be back next time I need a suspension sorted out, and I will gladly recommend your outstanding shop!”

“We had an incident where our neighbor's Bull-Mastif made a meal out of the front of our well taken care of 2008 Scion XB. The Insurance company actually totaled the vehicle. We wanted to keep our Scion and many body shops will not work on a "Salvaged" title vehicle. The V&F guys said they understood the situation and would work with us to make it cost effective.. They have done mechanical and bodywork for two of my vehicles and both times I dealt with exceptional service and was satisfied with their work. They had my transmission rebuilt in a week (also for the cheapest price in town) and completely redid my battery terminal connectors as a courtesy. They repaired a tedious dent and repainted my bed in two days for 1/5th of the price I was quoted at another shop. “I came here Wednesday to my wife's Toyota oils changed, these guys are awesome. Small little mom & pop place on Grant Line right by the bowling alley. They get you in & out, and are honest priced. You can tell with how they describe their service to you that they know what they're doing. They'll double check all your fluids for you on top of doing your oil change. They have a TV inside the waiting room with chairs if you want to chill too. Mom & pop places have a bigger trust factor in my opinion than the corporate places. They want to get your business back and take good care of you. They'll have my business going forward, period. Highly recommend.”

“My car suddenly started having trouble accelerating on my long drive from Socal to Norcal and I was so lucky to have this happen where I could pull off the highway and in here. Even though it was Saturday at 5pm and they were very busy, they took me in. They stayed hours late for me and were so diligent at figuring out and testing to find the well-hidden problem in my old car and then they fixed it same night! Even though I was very much in a bind and they could have charged anything, they gave me a more than fair price and I was able to finish my drive that night. “In July, traveling west on the 205 through Tracy, I lost all power to my entire 2018 Jeep Renegade...Stranded on the highway in the dark!After a AAA DRIVE, It was a huge disappointing experience taking it to Tracy Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram, where I actually purchased it and my previous vehicle...I felt overcharged and two days seemed an excessive time to wait...I made one call to D&M.Dan took over and saved the day, even 2...he under estimated the dealership and I was back on the road in two hours with a new charging Alternator back home to Newark for dinner!4 Months later, I'm back again with another emergency situation and again a friendly reception by the entire staff...receptionist and technicians, including Dan again, at the helm.I didn't ever bother calling the dealership again to avoid any disappointment and will now divert all my auto mechanic needs, referral of others and gladly Yelp Followers to D&M!I feel 100% taken care and confident to share this service to all!Feel Taken Care of Before Arriving...Fast...Fair Price...Reliable...Trusting Service!”

“Ive had so many bad experiences with tire shops over the years with every single one of them damaging my wheels and car (2018 Ford Fusion) in some way, when I decided to give this place a shot I was just prepared to wait forever and end up with more damage, BUT NO this place was incredibly fast! they had me done in under 15 min, were very friendly, reasonably priced and I DID NOT see ANY new damage. This place has won over a new loyal customer for as long as I live in Tracy. I will be recommending their services to my customers. “I bought a 1967 Dodge Coronet 440 in Feb. It had a good size bow in the front wheel opening, from the previous owner's collision. Arnulfo and his crew did a terrific job pulling the fender and matching the paint from 1986. I also had them add a white stripe and red pinstripe on the hood. Bonus, they charged me $1,000 less than other places I had gotten bids. Also, at the other places, I had to wait Months to get in. Arnulfo took me in right away. Like most 60's cars with vinyl tops, I had some rust bubbles starting in the bottom corners of the windshield and back glass and needed to have the top replaced. Most shops would just repair the metal and put a sealer on before gluing on a new top. I took it back to Arnulfo. They fixed the corners, took the whole top down to the metal and repainted & perfectly color matched the existing paint, as if it was not going to have the vinyl top put on before installing the new vinyl. Talk about going the extra mile. Thanks Guys!”
